Great team to help navigate the labyrinth of PC hardware fault identification, part replacements and build projects. Just upgraded my motherboard, CPU and RAM based on a 10 minute talk and selection over the phone with the parts ready for pickup on arrival and the system up and running in around 2 hours, awesome! Same experience on the last full upgrade, CPU heat issues and later update to graphics card.

Always helpful and friendly service from the young woman at the counter, good prices, very good to know that they trust the customer knows what they want and don't try to push unwanted items or services. Highly recommended

Went into the store today and wanted to buy speakers for my turntable. Had a great experience as one of the employees, Samuel helped me decide what speaker to buy and also helped me on the phone with the set up. Would recommend! Very helpful:)

Sent my pc in for a diagnosis, was told a week to a week and a half, week and a half later i called for them to tell me they haven’t even looked at it, few days later called again for them to say the same thing but because they’re flat out itll be another 7 day wait, all well and good that they’re busy but the fact they couldn’t call to let me know 1, they haven’t even started and 2 that they’re flat out.i could have had my pc back and sent somewhere else.thanks to these people im going 3 weeks without it soon.classic joke

Yesterday I ordered a new Graphics Card for a build I was putting together for a mate via Click and Collect and I waited for 8+ hours for an email until I gave up and gave em a call, the staff told me that the order was cancelled by the main office and I had to go through them to get it resolved so I phoned the main office and they told me that they couldn’t resolved the problem and saying that I have to pay $800 again so I asked them if I can get a refund on the order and the short answer they gave me is NO, This Business is a SCAM and a FRAUD, They ROBBED ME out of my $800 and I am never going to shop there again.

Bought my first PC here and the money spent was well worth it - extremely strong and powerful for gaming and work purposes. I highly recommend speaking to Jason, he was able to recommend the best computer based on my budget and requirements. He made it easy to put my trust in him as he knew everything about computers. 10/10 customer service from Jason.

Abosuletly rudest staff I have ever met! Told me that I would have to pay a 5% surcharge for using a “credit” card. Interestingly enough the sheets plastered all over the counter said 1.2%. When I said 5% is illegal I was told that I didn’t know what I was talking about, and the guy quite proudly said “I had an argument with a customer the other day about this”

If your staff are proud of doing business with customers this way, I will pull all of my businesses purchases and my own private purchases from every single Centrecom store and move them all to Scorptec and PC Case Gear.

On a side note your staff need to be educated on customer service, store management (they shouldn’t be checking if the prices on the system are the same as what is on the website and on the box in store. This should have already been done as a matter of course.) they also need to be educated on the current Covid restrictions in place. Retail employees are required to wear face masks 2 of the 3 staff were not wearing masks and one had their mask hanging from one ear while I was in the store.

Most unprofessional operation I have ever seen. This company used to be good now I would never recommend them to anyone!

The team at Frankston are some of the nicest most genuine people I've met through my PC building journey.
They are helpful and smiling and know how to banter with thier clients! They also make it personal by showing their builds explaining their experiences and taking interest in your project.
It will always come to people vs price. As two retailers can sell the same but the difference is the people. More retailers need to understand that.

Purchased an mesh extender which did not connect at all. After 2 days of trying with the products help desk who suggested we return.the item. It was difficult to get a refund. Will never go back.

These guys have questionable refund/return policy, especially for a defective product.

I bought two Corsair AF140 RGB fans, installed as exhaust mounted top of my case. One fan worked but the other caused a rattling or buzzing noise which was a bearing problem. I checked it was not vibrating off my case, loosened and tightened screws etc, same sound.

However I asked for a refund and only receiving 3/4th of it, they did not even offer to test the fan to confirm the issue. They just flat out said "Well because there's nothing wrong with it, we're gonna charge 25% restock fee on top. " Either implying it's not faulty or just didn't believe me at all.
(I did not expect them to test it half hour before closing but they should've offered to look into it when they can)

I've installed a replacement fan ML140 (paid out of my pocket/refund) and there's no rattle/buzzing sound, tested at varied speeds at exhaust. So they've probably re-shelved a product that's faulty, didn't [offer to] test it nor give full refund.
Not believing me is cherry on top.

Just dodgy behaviour and process. Jason seems to be the apparent supposed saving grace for the store. Says a lot when only one person out of a team stands out.

Do not go to Centrecom if you expect good after-sales support. It isn't the first time I had this issue of refund with them. Nothing like this happens at Scorptec, PCCG or PLE.
