Centre Com Clayton reviews
82Purchased a NAS HDD in December from this store (my go- to place for all tech and computer parts & accessories). My HDD stopped working after a few days. Took it to the store and Nathan helped me out by replacing the troublesome one with a brand new HDD, even though it was more than 30days after my purchase. Great team and great customer service. Highly recommended.
There was not enough staff rostered on. The few staffs that were rostered on seem clueless with no knowledge and training. Easier to just buy from Scorptec if Centre Com retail store staffs are not helpful. Store manager need to step up, train their staffs and manage the store properly.
Really great customer service! I was about to pay for a converter and explained why I needed it, the guy told me it wasn’t required and wrote down instructions on how to set up my system. Saved me money! Thank you so much!
FULL OF LIES, CUT PHONE LINE
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, terrible custom service and order management!
I ordered a mouse on Thursday because mine was broken, saw the website said '2 HOUR CLICK & COLLECT', placed an order and waited the whole day, no collection confirmation email came.
So I gave them a call on Friday morning at 11am, waited 20 mins in the queue, then when it came to me, the line got cut! Called them again, waited another 15mins, luckily they didn't cut me off this time. A dude said my order was at top of the list and would be ready really really soon. I confirmed with him if I can received it today, he said definitely. 12am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm.nothing happened. Tried to gave them a call, again waited 20 mins in the queue, then when it got to me, the line got cut AGAIN! Tried another 3 time, line got cut 3 times. Nice try CentreCom Clayton!
Please cancel my order and do a full refund! This is really a pathetic customer service.
Purchased the wrong system so I called the online centre to change my order waited 15 minutes in queue to get hung up on called them a second time same thing happened. So I called Clayton centrecomm instead, Matthew was great help. He helped me message the online guys to change the order really thankful.
Pathetic customer service.
Spent over 5k on a ready to ship PC with the 2 hour click and collect option, was impossible to get through on the phone to this store to enquire as to why it wasn't ready after 4hrs.
Sat in a phone que for 30 minutes, finally got through and was told it would be ready within the hour. After two hours I called up again only to be hung up on multiple times after waiting in multiple phone ques.
Called up centre com online and was told that it would "probably" be ready by tomorrow and that's all the info she could give me.
Order was finally ready to collect after the store had already closed for the day.
I ordered custom build pc. The staff spent nearly 14 days to assemble. When I check up, I found one of water cooling fan wasn't working and RGB light as well. Eventually, I disassembled myself and put it back together. I don't know what they checked. Or they have no experience in installing cooling fans.
Nothing is more frustrating than being in lockdown and suspending your phone service. I understand the circumstances around lockdown but it is extremely inconvenient when you can’t get the help you need for your own business and you cannot call for help.
Great range of products at quite reasonable prices, albeit with small but annoying surcharges for most payment methods.
Although some stock is on display, Centrecom is best suited to click-and-collect, because the showroom is a little chaotic.
Very helpful and efficient service, though.
They don't have a test bench onsite, only 1 person testing for faulty products and works Monday to Friday. Pretty poor customer service setup for a tech store.
Every team member at the service desk should be able to fault find with multiple test benches available for use.
Shop at PC Case Gear over these guys they'll sort out manufacturing issues then and there.
I recently had the misfortune of purchasing a faulty Samsung G7 monitor from Centre Com (no fault of theirs) which I returned, only to receive a second faulty monitor (again no fault of theirs). I ended up giving up on that particular monitor and getting a full refund. But I found Centre Com to be really good to deal with through the whole process, and I was impressed with their customer service. They were patient and understanding, and did everything they could to resolve the issue.
A big thank you to Andrew and Bipin for helping me to chose the correct laptop despite having having a special love for DELL. After the bad experience from sunshine branch Bipin went to the extra mile to fix things and help me to finally buy a laptop due to the urgency. Thanks again for the hard work both of you
Absolutely pathetic and slow customer servic, prepare to be held up here for at least an hour.
Went to take a look at a case which was inside a box labelled with "demo case". Asked one of the staff if we could see the case outside of the box then after checking on his computer for 10 minutes he said we can't take it out of the box and it's not for sale either. If scorptec was open on Sundays I wouldn't have come here. The manager also seemed like he preferred to be anywhere else than working there and looked offended when I aksed him for help.
Ordered a $2000+ laptop from them, paid extra for Star Track Express AND the extra insurance. It was delivered to the wrong address a few buildings away, lucky the person there walked the package up to my place. A less honest person might of scored themselves a free laptop.
Do not trust ordering online with this company.
Very slow service, I went to buy one cable adaptor and it took like 30 min for my turn to come up, if you're in a hurry avoid going to this store, you'll waste your time
Very bad experience, my computer needed to be fixed and send to this store, after 6 weeks conformed to me it was fixed but actually not. Need to purchase another component at the end. Full of lies during the service.sent an email to their team to discuss this matter and got NO REPLY at all.
Over the last few weeks I have been building my new computer and the staff at centercom have been honestly way and above the best in regards to service I have received from any store I have been too.the Clayton store and Wei was especially helpful and patient well I flip flopped on what monitor I wanted.
Thanks again guys would definitely recommend.
I recently popped in to check out a new notebook. Spoke to Marnas who said the one I wanted was not in stock, but suggested I pick it up online. When I told him that would not help his personal sales, he said it was all about keeping the customer happy and fulfilling my needs. Wonderful culture, keep up the great work. Many Thanks.
Great service with friendly staff. James was amazing. He helped me with my laptop concern. Issue resolved - extremely fast turnaround. Highly recommend James for any of your computer concerns.
Purchased a soundblaster Audigy RX from centrecom. Told the sales rep I needed 7.1 card for razer 7.1 Tiamat. Tried it at home and didn’t work and brought the card back to the warranty department and they told the card output only support 5.1 channel and 7.1 only available via optical. Sales rep at centrecom Clayton are not properly trained with their own products.
