Cedar Bakery reviews
73 First time at Cedar cafe and the staff did not have energy and felt like they would rather be else where. Not very cooperative staff. Ordered the scrambled eggs with lamb which was below ok and also the chicken tawook which had too much lemon flavour.
The zaatar and good from bakery looked better and will try thay next.
2 stars, sorry Cedar
We went in after the kitchen closed but were still able to enjoy delicious vegie pizzas and great coffee.and came away with a bunch of snacks from the deli. Chili corn kernels for $3.50. YUMMO
Great for picking up dips and stuff for Mezze or for popping in for some takeaway bites for breakfast, or for sitting down for breakfast or for grabbing a takeaway coffee, it does it all well! Also the coffee part almost feels separately run, like there are staff who specialise on coffee and staff who specialise on the baking
I really like this place for the vegan bakery, and my friends all really like the coffee here. The service is real chill and nice too.
Fantastic range of products, food and coffee are great and the staff is super friendly. A most try in this side of Melbourne
Catering more to the vegan market with it's large variety of grocery items. Delicious fresh baked goods.
I almost always enjoy coming here. Food from Bakery is a great selection of Lebanese bread-based things. Fave=chicken sub and cheese pocket.
They sell a really interesting range of Middle-eastern groceries down the back.
Staff generally walk the line between 'I'm so bored of feeling forced to work in my family business resignation' and maintaining a friendly service facade. Eg Not bad but not great.
Music is a bit loud in cafe at front but you can usually get a quieter seat in the back.
We love the lamb, cheese and spinach pizzas. We also buy them frozen for home. Their brunch/lunch options are delicious, i can't go part their hummus and lamb plate with warm bread and pickles. Everything is also very reasonably priced.
Delicious and authentic Lebanese food! Best I've had in Melbourne. It is a bit out of the way for me but I can assure you it's a trip worth taking no matter where you are. You won't regret it!
The best food in the area. Love the cook on demand pizza and baked goods, the dips, salads and meze are fabulous and fresh. Great coffee but not so great chai.
Best food ever, special thanks To Rim and Anna for making such great plates.all in all great experience.see you next Sunday:)
One of my favourite places in the area. Great food at decent prices, lovely casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Fatteh is to die for.
Always a favourite, great food and coffer and fast and friendly service, loads of room for families and massive selection of groceries and prepared food to take away.
I've been a patron for over 10 years and have never been disappointed
