Carlos Cantina - Croydon

Very good place for Mexican food. We did a takeaway and the food was well packed in seperate containers. The chips was a big hit. The vegetarian dish could have been little better but overall we liked and would definitely go back there.

Drove all the way to Croydon, instead of Boronia store (which is 2 mins from our place), and it was worthwhile. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Nice, fresh and treat for your taste palates.

Don't forget to say hello to their lovely Restaurant Manager Maddie.she will make sure that your visit is memorable.

We are regulars at Carlos Cantina Croydon, and absolutely love it there! Having a large family, eating out can get expensive. Carlos cheap meal nights are such good value for our family. The food always tastes amazing and the serves are super generous. Well done, guys

Staff are incredibly efficient, with attention to detail to ensure everything runs smoothly and every customer is satisfied. The food was fresh and delicious, and came out quickly despite being such a busy night.

First customer to try out the DIY taco kit as well as the burrito main. Super convenient and everything stays fresher for longer rather than the flavours mixing together during delivery. Highly recommended, I hope they continue this new approach

I ordered a delivery. When it came it was stone cold. Which is unfortunate as the taste was really good

Great service, friendly wait staff who were really helpful as I hadn't had Mexian for years. Food was terrific. Drink service could have been a little more punctual but no complaints. I'll be back for sure!

Great customer service and generally nice food. Good vegan options. I had the vegan fajitas and where very tasty, although a few people in our group ordered the potato skins and said they were lacking in flavour.
Drinks were lovely! Loved the expansice list of margaritas to choose from.
40% off entrees and mains Mon-Wed was good value but i was very disappointed that my vegan main was excluded from this, despite being the same as the vegetarian version but minus the sour cream.

Carlos Cantina Croydon is a great place to grab a meal! Their food is really decent prices on their discount nights (which is most nights) and the quality of food is amazing! It's a struggle finding good Mexican in the area but this place is really great! My favourite dish is the beef enchilada Grande which is a HUGE portion. Their cocktails and fishbowls are also really great and make for a fun night. Not to mention you get a free sombrero hat with a fishbowl so that's pretty hard to turn down.
I have never had any issues with staff, they are always so amazing and nice and down for a laugh.

Overall great place, great atmosphere, great staff and service and great food!

Often get takeaway from here, and am always impressed by the quality of the food! Great service by both the cooks and the wait staff, everyone is always so welcoming! Keep it up guys!

Would have given a rating of 2.5 if I could.
The service was great, one particular waiter was really friendly and an excellent server.
The margaritas were okay. Nothing amazing, but not terrible either.
The food is what let's this place down. The menu doesn't differ much to Taco Bill.
The entrée nachos were good, again nothing amazing. I mean, you can't really make a bad nachos.
The chicken in the enchilada and the taco was so bland. I've never tasted chicken so flavourless. It tasted like the chicken had been boiled.
The beef burrito wasn't much better. With very little seasoning and flavour.
The desserts though, were fantastic!
Would probably only come back for dessert and a margarita.

I would rate this place a 3.5 if I could. I find it hard to review this place as there was nothing wrong with the food but it just didn't excite me much. It is the type of place I would go if I wanted to satisfy a Mexican food craving when my expectations were not too high.

This is a great place to being the family or to have a few margaritas with friends.

We came on a Wednesday for the half price mains - we were not disappointed! The slow cooked beef in the burrito was amazing and packed full of flavour. Would recommend and will be back

Love the food and service. Minimal waiting for food even when they were fully booked. Always made sure our drinks were ok and that our food was what we ordered. They were wonderful. Have returned twice with other friends and with my kids.

Great management, delicious food with generous serves, friendly staff and good value for money.
