Carboni's Italian Kitchen reviews
73Couldn't have enjoyed a meal and atmosphere more. The young lady by the name of Amber that served us was outstanding. Hard to find these days. Thankyou will gladly return to this restaurant again
Excellent pizza in a happy, buzzy place. Lots of people enjoying themselves have the place a friendly, busy vibe. Great - would definitely go again.
Very good pizza. Very nice, attentive staff. The toilets are clean and italian vibe is all over the place. Will definitely visit again if I go to Ballarat.
Fabulous meals and so happy they have come back from lockdown. Very authentic Italian food and the best red wine I've ever had. We felt like we were treated as family. It was my husband's birthday and they had a beautiful card with a photo of Florence!
Dined here on Sun 14th March with family. Service was friendly obliging and efficient. Food was wonderful. We shared some entrees all were delicious and everyone enjoyed their mains. We had limincello cocktails as well as the blood orange cocktails Yum.
A friend and I caught up for lunch today at Carboni’s and had a really great experience. Service was impeccable from the moment we walked through the door. We ordered the Schiacciata all’Aglio, Arancini and capricosa pizza to share and it was delicious. Definitely can’t wait to go back and get my hands on some pasta
Carbonis have really stepped up their game. Came after 4 years and the new changes really show. Staff are amazing. Food is immaculate. And the drinks although you pay high, their quality match the price. Would definitely go again.
My family and I had dinner there Saturday 6th February 2021. Delicious food, wonderful manager, great staff, excellent service at a reasonable price and large tables. We would be happy to eat there anytime. Good menu for kids as well.
Good food, but not great. Service can be sluggish at times. Mains took ages to come out as did drinks. I acknowledge we were late for our booking, which the staff were great about and which might have contributed to the slow service. The pizza was awesome as was the barramundi, but my parents weren't happy with their meals.
The pear and walnut gnocchi was delicious. May have been on the cheesy side but very enjoyable. Decor was on theme and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Beautiful atmosphere, plenty of nice options, had the Gnocchi Norcina (pork sausage) which was ok, gnocchi was soft but I prefer a bit more bite and not a lot of pork or mushroom. Cream and cheese sauce was nice without being too heavy
Really solid menu with delicious pasta and above average pizzas. Nice wine selection, if a little pricey. Good service and a welcoming atmosphere.
I rated this place 5 stars on food and service alone. Welcoming, warm and engaging staff, Jo is so employable! Well done!
This is our "Go To" restaurant in Ballarat when we want to have a night off cooking; the service is exceptional and the food is also lovely. We all like the "Crying Tiger" spicy beef entrée and the mains, although westernised, are still flavoursome. Finding quality vegan food when you're travelling can be disheartening, if not soul-destroying, but not this time.
We enjoyed our dinner at Carboni's Italian. We were had the prawn in squid pasta, salt pepper calamari and desserts. The tiramisu and citrus cream pastry dessert were so very tasty. The restaurant make the pasta and homecooked sauce. Highly recommended.
Delicious food. Great with allergies and intolerances. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent coffee. Yummy food.
We drove from Melbourne on a Friday night and luckily came across this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and such a great find. The service was amazing and I couldn’t fault it. I had pappadelle pasta with lamb which was lovely. The serving size wasn’t huge so I could have eaten more! But I’d prefer a quality dish over quantity anytime.
One of the best Italian dining experiences I've had. The food was spectacular. Tried my wife's ravioli and it was light and tender and the blue cheese filling was delightful. My calamari was lovely, lightly fried with a spicy mayo. The broccolini was toasted with breadcrumbs, bacon and olive oil and was delicious. Can't wait to come back!
Risotto bland and consistency not correct, seemed reheated.
Updating as day after my partner is really not well. He ate ragu, I think tried a little bit and it tasted a bit fishy which is confusing: -/
Also a little expensive for what you get - Bruschetta not worth the price tag for 3x small pieces of toast with the crusts sliced off.
As always Carboni's doesn't disappoint. From the cocktails to the dessert (the affogato- technically a cocktail?). The most exciting part was the Parmasan wheel pasta! Finally I got to try it and I was so happy when it was wheeled out! Very, very cheesy, I actually couldn't finish it so I brought it home with me. Happy birthday to me!
