My family and I have been patients at this clinic for over 25 years. All the doctors are professional and their attention to details is second to none.

I had my final Covid needle at the Camberwell Junction Medical Clinic and found the staff who gave the injections very friendly. The receptionist was a little off handed as she couldn't find my booking and was insisting that I didn't have one. She did apologise when she eventually found she was in the wrong area of her computer.

Attended this clinic for many years but moved away from the area.
Most of doctors are lovely - shout out to Stacey and Julie for being legends - but the actual admin side of the clinic needs an overhaul.

The fees are rather high - even within usual business hours - any healthcare card discounts are only between 9-6 Monday to Friday and are minimal.

The reception staff are hit and miss, and while they ask us to be respectful, they don’t always allow the same respect to patients. We all know it’s a tough gig, but a little friendless goes a long way.

They are always understaffed (even before covid) and calls take a long time to be answered.

Appointments are very rarely on time so be prepared for long waits, but the seats are comfortable and accessible.

If you choose to leave the clinic for whatever reason, expect as $20 fee for your records, and a long time for them to process that request for you.

Fantastic doctors. I’ve been seeing Dr Harris for several years and she is superb. Whenever I’ve had to book a last minute appointment with another doctor they have also been kind and helpful.
Unfortunately CJMC loses some stars due to the mediocre reception team. Some of them seem to struggle with basic skills like serving people in order that they arrived at the desk, processing billing, and even basic communication. Unfortunately the clerical team always undermines the overall quality of the clinic experience which would be 5 stars based on the doctors.

I have been going here for years. The Clinic consistently has helpful and efficient reception staff, is well organised, spotlessly clean and has excellent general practitioners.

Dr slavko tokanovic is GREEDY for money. Said he would charge for a standard consult ($89) as NO mental health care plan was made. He then charged me $150 for a mental health care plan? This is done through the reception, therefore was not able to reach him again and had to pay the money. A scammer! Never go to him

Terrible experience with Dr Leslie Hoy. Capability and good bedside manner are not mutually exclusive. Interpersonal skills matter. How one speaks to the patient (or parent of) matters. If we leave your rooms feeling belittled and more worried, this matters. This has happened in every appointment with this particular doctor over the years, shame on me for returning.

I waited 45min for my appointment without being notified of how late he was running.
When I got in doctor didn't even get it of chair and look at my condition.
Clinic is clean and purple can spread out. That is nice.

Great doctor, easy parking and best part was they were on time. After recently moving to the area we have found our new family doctor. Highly recommended.

14yo daughter and I both had telehealth consults with Dr Richard Hince this morning. He was on time and very helpful, and my referral was emailed to me within about 30 minutes. Very happy.

Even during a phone consult my GP just said 'come in and let me take care of that'. So I popped over and he made the ten minutes in the next hour to alleviate the pain. They are all personal. My mother-in-law sees another. My wife and daughters se a different GP and they are all of the highest level of caring humans.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible - after having a consultation, I called up this practice the same day to receive clarification on how long I am required to take the medication for. The receptionist told me that I would get a call back the same day. I never got a call back. Over the course of the next several days, I phoned asking for clarification on my medication and each time the receptionist said I would receive a call back and it has now been more than a month and I still have not received a call back. I had to organise an appointment at another practice who told me that the 6 month prescription that was issued to me was dangerously excessive.

I also had an appointment regarding a lump on my neck that the doctor asked I go receive an ultrasound sound on straight away. After getting the ultra sound, I was told that my GP would have the results in 3 business days. After 2 weeks had gone by, I called CJMC to ask why I haven’t received my results yet. They said that there is a note on my file that they want me to come in and discuss my results. That note had been on my file for close to two weeks and I never received a call. I organised a telephone health appointment that same day to discuss my ultra sound results and the doctor never contacted me at the appointment time. I phoned the next day and the receptionist told me that the doctor said he tried calling me three times which is a flat out lie. My phone ALWAYS sends me a message if I have a missed call and this was not the case. I asked to put in a formal complaint against the practice due to the above issues and the assistant practice manager argued with me that there has been nothing wrong with the way I have been treated. Absolute disgrace.

I couldn’t discourage every reader of this review more to stay away from this practice. They are awful across the board. Shame on you CJMC
