The best vegan sausage roll I have ever had, hands down! My mum & I came here on a chance and we are so glad we did cause FAR. OUT. The vegan choc chip cookie was out of this world too! Vibe & decor were funky too, 10/10 for those looking for an awesome vegan feed (the non-vegan options looked delish too!)

Wow! What can I say about Rays! I’ve been coming here for 13+ years and love it! Always an amazing coffee ️! Great atmosphere, funky, relaxed and stylish in its own way! Anything you have here will be awesome yum yum yum

Usually a poor breakfast eater, I finished a $21 big breakfast meal all myself, and wished for more! Wonderful place with mind blowing food. Treat for vegans, so much thought has gone into making the vegan menu!

Visited with a large group of friends - wonderful vegan food. Ordered vegan french toast entre and other savory food - very flavorful; it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the menu and food ingredients! Worth a visit when in that part of the city. Would come back.

Ordered beet don’t kill my vibe and found a stapler pin in my food. When i showed it to the waitress instead of apologising i was offered a free coffee! I will never go back to this place and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone either. Finding a metal piece in customers food is not there concern sadly. Eat at your own risk.

Beast of Brunswick is my favorite, introduced to my friends and they got crazy and joined my following with this cafe! So far this is my fave in Brunswick

Fantastic service, coffee and the food is to die for! Best breakfast in Melbourne we think. Totally worth the mission from Bentleigh. Love the vegan menu!

Wish I could give 6/5. The best cafe for food and atmosphere in Melbourne. And the best vegan food and sweets around!

Ray's Cafe has an excellent vegan menu and a fun/casual atmosphere. I like the Kim Wildes Chi (mock chicken burger) best. Their vegetarian options are also very good. The halloumi Beast of Brunswick is incredibly popular and a definite favourite.

Jar was a very lovely girl and her service was exceptional. She understood the need of my strong "short black" and made me feel very alert at the time when I badly needed.

A pretty cool place for brunch! We ordered the Beast of Brunswick and Johnny's Hash but found the Beast of Brunswick to be a little dissapointing as it's no more than a simple bacon or haloumi burger. The Johnny's on the other hand was delicious! But $20 for it was a little over.

The food is very good. Nice combinations of flavours!

Coffee is decent, but sub-par in light of the strong competition at other places in the vicinity.

The Johnny Hash is a well put-together breakfast dish with an interesting (but balanced) combination of flavours!

Staff are friendly, adding to the relaxed atmosphere

The food is good but could be better. The menu had many unique options and a good dose of humor. Some dishes are quite oily and the fries were not as crunchy as they could be. The coffee tasted a little burnt but quite drinkable. Over all not a bad option but I wouldn't expect to be wowed.

Coffee makes Sunday better. The menu has multiple rock and roll puns. Be prepared. I am having Leed And Destroy for breakfast today, while my companions are having Rage Against the Tagine, and KC and the Sloppy Juju with a Flaming Chips. The five star rating is deserved just for the menu

Very friendly staff and food is pretty amazing. Felt guilty eating it because it looked so good.

Rude staff average food they think they're so cool and up themselves on Christmas day being left out the front the cafe is full of staff they would not serve customers, terrible experience.
