Bunnings Scoresby reviews
69Click and collect shockingly bad! 4 days for a bag of charcoal then wait 45mins for someone to bring it out while watching people walk in and out all day even thou they are supposed to be closed due to COVID restrictions!
Hey, it's Bunnings so you know what's up. Easy access even with a trailer and parking for you when you're dragging one. Usually enough staff so that you don't have to search for one when you need directions. Thumbs up.
Waited nearly 3 days for my 'Drive and Collect' order to be ready to pick up, only to find 4 items I ordered were not dispatched. I've only been charged for what I received but common courtesy in notifying me that some items on my order were unavailable would have been nice. All the things dispatched are fairly useless without the missing items. Not happy with the lack of service, will buy what I need from Mitre 10 in the future.
Had my previous order delivered, charged $40 and took eight days to arrive. When it did finally come, I got a text message saying the driver will be at our address in 25 minutes. My wife and I were at work, my 64 year old mother was looking after our kids for the day doing homeschooling and the maggot delivery driver expected her to unload the ute herself. Even had the balls to stand back and send me a photo for 'proof of delivery' with my mother in the photo unloading 1800x1200mm panels of cement sheet by herself.
This time, waited three days to be told I could come pick up three items on click and collect, rolled up for the first available slot at 7am, rang the number, phone was off the hook for the first 20 minutes, had to ring front desk and get someone to organise it from there. Sat for 35 minutes in the click and collect slot waiting for someone to do their job.
Should have supported Masters when we had the chance.
Had to walk around for ages to find someone to help me, when I finally did i felt as though I was askinv a bit too much!
I have never been so compelled to make a review for a bunnings but for a pandemic struck world you don't expect to choose the so called "click and collect" only to wait 30mins in the pick up car park bay waiting for the items. Mind you, my pick up time was suppose to be "6-6: 30pm", I was there at 6.15 and waited for 30mins. This is absolutely atrocious.
We all know Bunnings. If you know what you want/need and apply some logic you can usually find it. Now, if you need to ask someone for help, we'll that's a different story. They either hide or have no idea if they stock the item, because "I don't work in that section. " Shame Masters went under because Bunnings really lifted their game when they had a bit of opposition. That being said, I mainly go for the snags.
Your typical bunnings, staff friendly and happy to help, flooded parking lot area is a bit cooked but the whole area is bit on a bed of lies and clay
Absolutely bad experience in service, the person who I asked for assistance was not even interested in helping and you could tell that he was forcing himself to answer my questions.
Generally always find what I'm after.plus items I wasn't looking for.during lock up the staff were brilliant on the phone and bringing out my items
It is same as other Bunnings stores. Never the stock are updated online and the variety of products are not as much as some other stores.
Generally they're good. But visited the store today looking for portable lighting, met with Paul and the most unhelpful gentleman at Bunnings period.
I'm sure he's smart but answering questions like, how long does the battery last with "until it runs flat" isn't the answer a normal people with urgent need is looking for.
I hope he sees this feedback and the management and make some improvements
A really friendly member of staff near the soil fertiliser section who was really helpful with the list I had and gave some great hints and tips. Staff near the entrance and the garden exit were ‘to the point’ and? Could have been more welcoming - just an interesting contrast with their other colleague - a keen gardener who genuinely seems to enjoy her job and talking to and helping people. Some of the passageways are tricky to navigate with a laden trolley - too much merchandise cluttering the floors. But overall fine and functional and a store that does its job
Thanks for acting incredibly promptly on our noise complaint of the nursery. Great friendly service and also persistent in resolving issues!
The staff here, when you can find them are not very helpful. Some are quite rude too.
The girl at the checkout today was talking to another employee while she was scanning our items, didn't even say hello and turned her back to us to continue to talk to the older employee. Rude
I've visited a few times, staff lack any depth of knowledge, but can point you in a general direction. My biggest gripe is the incorrect labelling of parts. I bought a bolt labelled 6x103, however it's 1/4 inch. Please purchase parts that are metric, we're in Australia. Lesson learned, go to actual fastener suppliers and don't just be subdued by bunnings' "convenience".
Great and helpful teamwork. I bought a very heavy BBQ and was offered help to lift it into my car. When assembled there was "one" part missing and teamwork prevailed again. Within the hour the BBQ was complete. Well done Lifeztyle gang!
Always great service here. Scott, the trade specialist helped me set up the power pass app which will save me hours in the long term!
Thank you to "Justin" the store manager on duty Easter Sunday for helping exchange a "like for like" spray gun that was faulty.normally requiring authorisation from the supplier, Justin quickly realised there would be no chance of getting such approval on Easter Sunday and ensured my customer experience was outstanding. And now I am about to start painting again.excellent customer service!
Walked into the store today to hire a skip. The desk was only marked with a piece of paper with "Hire Here"
Once at the desk, I had 2 female staff walk between myself and the desk, as if I wasn't even there. Both times I was forced to step away.
I waited 5 minutes for a man named "Rob" to assist. He appeared unhappy to be there.
I stated "I would like to hire a skip" He responded with "What? A skip? Not a trailer? "
My request repeated he'd sighed in obvious frustration. I apologized. My confidence in this process going downhill fast.
He did something on his computer, then asked my postcode. It was given, then he asked what I wanted to hire.
I couldn't give him a black and white response, because I didn't have the details in front of me. I'd thought he'd present me with a pamphlet of some sort.
I then informed him I had hired one before and asked if my details would be on their system. He was quite blunt with his "no"
Still trying to remain light-hearted, I said "I'm going to duck out to my car and get the receipt from my last time if that helps? "
He said it would help.
I was gone less than 2 minutes, and when I returned he was gone.
I waited another few minutes when another desk staff asked if I was being seen to. I explained what had happened and she tried to chase him down.
Turned out, he'd gone home.
My details were on the screen and he'd just left.
Two more employees came over and said they could help me. I was completely confused and disheartened at this point.
I asked where the other guy was and they informed me "He went home"
Speechless. "So let me get this straight. I told him I was ducking to my care (parked right out front) to grab the info he requested because he couldn't provide me with anything, and he just left? "
Their response? "His shift was over"
I can't even.
To state my anxiety had been triggered was an understatement. I had to get out of there. I was embarrassed, confused, speechless and could not believe the complete lack of customer service.
I stated "I'm sorry. I can't do this. My confidence in this process has been shattered"
The young guy apologized and I left.
I went to Vermont. They put in my phone number and everything was there.
5 minutes later I was out the door with receipt in hand.
Scoresby? Never again.
