Bunnings Dandenong reviews
77I visited this Bunnings for the first time to get some melamine wood cut, and the person at the timber yard was very helpful. Their costumer service is really great both over the phone and in person! Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
I'am a regular at Bunning - can't beat the one stop shop (most of the time) value they provide.generally check stock level at the store before i head to that particular store and it seems that the Dandenong store is a bit behind on what the website tells you and what's actually available.
I had a great experience at the store on 28/09/2023 at 12.20pm, especially with Eric who was working in the indoor timber section. He provided valuable advice on selecting the right screws for my brick wall project. His assistance was much appreciated, and I left with all the necessary products. Thank you, Eric, for your helpful service!
Harima Visalai. 7stars to my girl endina. She reminded me of edna chocolate from Ceylon. And she helped me out big time. And the girls are very kind.
Staff not helpful in toolshop and key cut. Bad service. You better walk in knowing all the tools because staff are not interested to help or had no idea.
If I could give no stars I would. I’m very upset & very disappointed in the customer service in person & over the phone at Bunnings Dandenong. I was given no help in purchasing a split system air con. When I finally did purchase one I had to sit & fill out a form to book someone to install it for me. What a nightmare! None of the staff could answer any of my questions. I thought to myself why is there even staff there if they know absolutely nothing about the products in the store? The only person that was a little bit helpful was Gordon. My quote for the installation came to $805, the air con I purchased was $899 & with delivery $949. I asked them will the electrician/installer charge me extra on the day for brackets/pipes or any extras? Or do the pipes come with the air con? No one could answer me. It is an absolute nightmare! One of the workers said they don’t have their own electricians they deal with a company I asked the company name she couldn’t tell me she gave me their number I called, the lady I spoke to is now sending a msg to Bunnings for someone to call me. This is ridiculous all I want to know is exactly how much it will cost me for everything involved in the installation & no one can tell me. I think I’m going to get a refund for the air conditioner & go else where. Absolute worst experience ever with a store. Most of the staff there are absolutely clueless very unprofessional & very frustrating! I will never shop there again. And I will tell everyone I know, of the horrible experience I’ve had & I know none of my friends will shop there either. I recommend going to another business or another Bunnings in a different area maybe they have different staff at other stores.
Poor service. Lack of staff. No one in plumbing. A stock item listed as in stock couldn't be located. Wasted an hour of time. I then had to load 3 flat packs onto a trolley by myself. The only time anyone showed any interest in me is when I walked out with my purchased goods.
Lou from gardening section was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. She was very helpful Thanks LOU
The usual Bunning experience which is pretty good. This particular one was out of the item I needed. And as usual the shelves of smaller parts are a mess and missing stock. This would be one thing I reckon they should do better
Attended this Bunnings store as they had stock of a particular item I was after and the distance was not that far away if I attended early, which I did.
Its a large Bunnings located in an industrial estate just off the exit for the M420 South Gippsland Freeway on Princes Hwy.
Plenty of onsite parking. Apart from its its size the same as all other Bunnings stores.
Practices a functioning COVID safe system with QR check in, wheel chair friendly, has public toilets with disabled toilets also.
No mold killer for paths. At 2 stores. In Victoria, a cold climate, in a store not far from the Dandenong ranges. Something I can easily get from my rural Mitre10. And batern/pin globes getting less and less - note to Bunnings managers. 90% of home lights particularly in homes more than 20 years old are pin; not screw (which is what I mainly stock). Battery pin globes are the standard in Australia, NZ, Britain etc. If you don’t know that don’t run hardware stores.
Screw is the standard in the USA, we are not the USA (and lamps locally only)
Poor customer service especially the guy from India who is dealing with returning items he have no respect at all and he never know how to deal with customer he think he is the boss of the Dandenong burning, he never gives chance to customer to explain what they want and waht is the problems for returning the items he only listening to his world that's it, I hope banning teaches him the standards of Australian he is living in Australia not where he comes from.
Terrible Customer Service!
I have purchased 2 taps last months. Today morning I found the bathroom wet and everywhere was water. I took the taps to Bunnings to return them. As I had moving house I couldn’t find the receipt of purchase but I had my bank transaction with me. I know that at Bunnings they usually exchange things even if you don’t have the receipt! The customer service was not helpful and they didn’t do exchange for their faulty product! And it was very rude that the girl turned her face away in a way to ignore us! Very rude staff and didn’t act professionally! I was surprised to see this at Bunnings!
Great bunnings however some of the staff members just don’t wanna help you
I mean if you looking for some thing and you’re not sure asking them is probably the best thing some of them have very bad attitude
Only issue is the road markings on the entry road to the warehouse. They are almost completely eroded and causes issues when going in. Simple to fix and even use their own line marking paint, especially over the Covid period.
Worst bunnings ever. You can never get a trolley there. Laziest staff and no management. Just close it down mate!
It's Bunnings.not sure why Im reviewing it.they destroyed that other mob and now are the biggest and beat in AUS for all thing DIY and for basically anything around the house and garden. I love Bunnings.if you've read this hoping to get some insight then I'm sorry, go get urself a snag on Saturday and let me know just how bloody good it is.
Always good to shop at bunnings for supplies whether it's d.i. Y or for gifts and etc.
They take flybys now too!
Just watch out for the people leaving, they always overturn that exit.
Staff always busy.and if you find someone they will transfer you to another one and loop continues until U find specialist of that particular section
I normally rate bunnings 5 as I find the staff very helpful and couteous. This rating is purely for they're organisational skills. Went to Bunnings garden centre which had just opened due to a relaxation of some covid restrictions. Purchased potting mix and plants. Noticed they had put a cage outside with some products from inside the store. Good idea. Asked if they had put any fungicides or pesticides out. Apparently not. It's Spring. Asked if anyone could go in and get the products (which I'd printed from their website with I/N). Apparently they're not allowed. Can't order them online. 'In store only'. Was told I could come back when open on Friday. Waiting a week doesn't help the plants with aphids and black spot.
Luckily had a thought and went to Woolworths nextdoor. Lots of garden products and got exactly what I needed. Thanks Woolworths. Up there for thinking.
