A fantastic anniversary dinner at Bottega. The staff were very accommodating (as we had a very tired toddler) we got moved to a nice quiet booth.
All dishes were presented beautifully and were amazing, in particular the Wagyu carpaccio and scallops. All desserts and wines also topped off the night.
We will be back!

I went in there after a very special evening with my partner and their service was superb! Their attention to detail and friendly service were really impressive. Would definitely be back! Highly recommended for couples looking for a private, intimate dining experience or date nights.

I regularly visit this restaurant in June every year since 2016, as I have a story with this place. I didn’t come the last two years due to lockdown, but this time I was not as satisfied as before.
Without a reservation, they tried their best to accommodate me and I actually didn’t mind to be a bit rush. I tried their pre-theater menu with the beef carpaccio and spaghetti alla chitara which is spaghetti with mushroom and beef short rib. The beef carpaccio was good and the flavor balanced well with the cheese and salad leaves. However, the flavor of spaghetti was way too strong and I couldn’t eat half of it. The texture of the homemade pasta was good, I like it a bit chewy, but the sauce and the short rib were wasted. I needed to drink the whole glass of wine to flush the salts down.
As I gave the feedback on the pasta, the restaurant offered me a dessert as complimentary, which was very nice of them. The tiramisu was traditional but nothing really surprised.

Great food, ambience and super helpful staff. I've always had a superb experience at Bottega, whether small or large group dining. It's perfect for all occasions and an absolute fave of mine. A reliable go to that is impressive for for guests. Thank you to Courtney and team.

Had a great dinner experience. We went here for our anniversary and loved everything in this place - the soft lighting, the friendly and helpful staff, the wines and amazing food. Dishes were cooked to perfection and full of flavours. Thanks Bottega for a perfect night out.

One of the best beef carpaccios I have had for many years. I would come back and order this for starter, secondi and dolce!
Lunch with old foodie friends. Followed up with Spaghetti alla chitara - seasonal mushrooms, braised short rib + porcini, pecorino DOP - very enjoyable and a homage to mushrooms.

Exquisite dishes. Perfectly cooked and fantastic service. My favourite place for a fancy dinner with family and friends

The service was excellent, very attentive. The food was very good, we had pasta, risotto and the pork dish, all of them were delicious. We’ll be back very soon.

Divine dinner!

Another superb dinner at Bottega. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Food is excellent. Of special note - beef carpaccio, scallops, octopus salad entrees and the duck, fish and goat mains. Finish off with quince terrine and you’re in heaven. Thank you Bottega!

Attended my best friend's surprise birthday.we had the private dining room and it was nice and intimate for 7 of us.staff allowed us to decorate the room with balloons.they were friendly, courteous and accomodating as we hadn't realised the time and stayed until closing time.food was delicious and our tums were full! I shall definitely return.

Loved the food. Nice portions, great selection. Restaurant ambience for dinner is nice with candlelight, tables are quite close together which may or may not deter some.

We love this boutique Italian restaurant in Bourke St Melbourne. It's menu is diverse and includes a pre-theatre menu which offers patrons the time to eat then get out to another event. The staff are friendly, the food delicious and wine list excellent.

Dropped in for a 3 course pre-theatre dinner. Great value for money accompanied by a lovely sangiovese. The pork special was amazing. Great service and friendly staff gettong us out in time for our play.

I visit Melbourne four or five times a year and whilst I know there are more up market, trendy restaurants I have always enjoyed and keep returning to Bottega.
Having been fortunate to have held a global corporate role for many years I have eaten in the best there is available. I have learned that the right combination of good food, a reasonably priced but good wine list and friendly, efficient service is the right mix. Also, price wise it needs to consider its location.
Bottega has all of these elements in spades.
I will keep returning.

Amazing restaurant that I will definitely recommend. They have phenomenal chefs delivering some of the best food I’ve had. The only small critique I could pick was the veg for the duck was a bit overpowering but the duck was cooked better than anywhere else I’ve had it Apart from that everything was 10/10 including the crispy pork belly main, meat was so tender and skin perfectly crispy with the right amount of salt. Entrees fantastic, the beef carpaccio was delicious and the deserts were too good to stop eating, especially the chefs special Fig Crème Brûlée, I don’t usually enjoy figs but this desert was so perfectly balanced there was nothing left. The friendly staff who regularly top up your water and clear your table when finished were delightful and the atmosphere was so relaxed. Thank you for a night to remember.

Set menu was a great way to try the menu as long as your hungry.
