Bomba Tapas Bar and Rooftop Spanish Restaurant reviews
73 Nice atmosphere, tinyyyy portions for the price in my opinion. We spent quite a bit n left still peckish. Croquettes, corn and ribs (tiny) were all delicious. Lamb paella was small and almost no lamb in it.
So a nice place for a drink n nibble. Not to fill up.
Totally recommended! We had a birthday dinner last night! We ordered a set menu, which was amazing. Great variety of delicious food. And service was outstanding! I have to say the guy who gave us the service was impeccable! Even when we were such a loud and messy table!
Thanks!
Nice and warm atmosphere. Gets too cozy at times and congested. Even though portions relatively small, still tasty and filling.
Food was absolutely devine. Fresh, flavour with so many exotic blends to your pallet. By far best tapas and meal in Melbourne I have had! Atmosphere cosy, amazing table service and great wine menu. This place is a must!
Great place to eat. Food came quickly and was delicious. We were here on a Monday and it was pretty busy. Really recommend the paella, we got the seafood one and it was the highlight as well as the croquettes. Staff were friendly as well.
Most of the tapas I tried were good. Best one is the octopus and chorizo skewer with potato foam. Scallop also excellent but the lamb was almost nothing but fat. Roasted eggplant was good as well.
Fantastic Spanish food with a kick-arse decor. Always exceptional service. A trusted spot for an express business lunch, and larger celebrations. Interesting yet traditional menu, great set menu for larger groups and lovely cocktails served at their rooftop bar.
Wonderful range of tapas and cocktails. Very interesting and different flavours so worth checking out if you want something new. A little on the expensive side, but worth the visit.
A nice spot with a groovy playlist and very dim, cool lighting. The service is standard for a bar but the drink choices are interesting. My favourite was the Green Ant gin which uses ant pheromones and has an interesting sweetness and spice to it. The food is pretty standard bar food which comes as finger food size.
Absolutely beautiful food, with friendly and efficient service to match. Angela is a valuable asset to this venue, and helped make our evening memorable for all the right reasons. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the set menu, making Bomba our new favourite Spanish restaurant!
This is probably one of the finest and coolest places. The place offers so much of fun and frolic. The chill vibe of the place makes you enjoy your visit to Bomba Tapas Bar.
Bomba Tapas Bar is always a great night out. Getting a drink upstairs at the bar with a great view to start off the night. This particular time was for the Valentine’s Day set menu which was delicious from start to finish. A real shout out to the mousse with olive oil and chunks of sea salt, an unusual but delicious combination. The waitstaff are always very helpful and know their product.
Not good enough value for what they charge. Paella quite unauthentic, no saffron! White undercooked rice, but burnt in the bottom, too salty as well!
Tapas, absolutely underwhelming, tiny and pricey.
The place is too noisy and we had to wait almost 2 hours to be seated.
On the bright side, very good spanish wine, and friendly staff.
The rooftop bar is ok, nothing great about it.
Loved the vibe, noise and food. However stomach has not been the best or would have rated higher.however would give it another try.
Cool little upstairs Melbourne bar with great views over the city. Great Tapas - try the lamb ribs, they are fantastic. Gets a bit crowded with the corporate crowd but a nice place to grab a few drinks with friends.downstairs restaurant has nice food however a bit expensive for what you get.
Liked the view was pretty full then got less crowded later on in the night. Nice venue for a catch up with friends
Really good food and fair prices on food, however drinks are way too expensive and the cocktail I had was filled with more ice than liquid.
Lovely rooftop bar with a great selection of craft beers on tap. Only downside was the couple that were chain smoking in the corner.
Food is great, with a lot of unique dishes to choose from. Waitress was lovely and helped us out of our comfort zone a bit with great recommendations!
