Beautiful tapas- we loved everything they served within their set menu and the portions were just right. Personally, I loved the scallops and the pok belly the most and we can't stop eating thd the potatoes!

The dark, rustic ambiance made our dining experience more intimate while the large glass panels behind the bar helped open up the space with lots of natural light coming in.

Excellent food, vibe, and service. Love the tapas sharing portions and choice of set menus. Roast pork, braised beef, fried potatoes are all filled with flavours. The dessert Bomba mess was a highlight - mix of meringue, strawberries, kiwi, and lemon sorbet. Cool waitresses and atmosphere.

Felt very well looked after by Hannah and co at a recent bottomless brunch. The food was delicious and our drinks were never empty. Dietary preferences were not an issue for the table and even though I let the staff know last-minute about mine, they made sure I was fed with delicious alternatives to the set menu.

Fantastic place, upstairs have great music and atmosphere. Cheap sangria can't go wrong

A cute little bar with a nice menu, food was okay with no real highlights, wine list was mediocre and cocktails were interesting to say the least, service was not the greatest with the waitress so demeaning and moody, came to try it out but sadly wouldn’t come back

Food is tasty.mid range prices.can get quite busy and a bit cramped.book beforehand if possible.though they did get one of our bookings wrong even after sending the confirmation text with the correct time.had to be shuffed in between other tables.not ideal in covid times.

We had an exceptional experience.
Ambience was perfect, followed by wonderful service and the food was spot on. We had Chickpea fritter and the scallop tapas. And for main we shared paella, wagyu rump and a pickled red cabbage
I would definitely recommend going to Bombabar.

Food was excellent, had mostly small tapas. Everything we had was great, especially the bone marrow on toast.
Great place, foods delicious and waiters were attentive, and there’s no extra charge for sparking water!

Started on the rooftop for a couple drinks and snacks before going down for dinner. School prawns are great, as well as the croquettes. We had the lamb caldaretta and pork belly paella, and ALL the side dishes. Way too much food but we finished it all.

Very cheap for the quality of food, tapas and cocktails are lovely. The only thing to fault was that the oil that came with the bread wasEXTREMELY bitter and very unpleasant, not sure what olive oil they are buying but they need to swap it out!

Recently had a wonderful experience at the Bomba rooftop.

I attended their rooftop bar and used the wonderful atmosphere to propose to my now fiancé.

I couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable environment with a wonderful view.

The staff were amazing, they were even kind and vigilant enough to realise our moment and provide us champagne.

I couldn’t have asked for more from the venue, highly recommend to anyone looking from a place to celebrate an intimate moment. To a great place to party and have a great time.

I can’t believe how many times we walked past and have not dined here sooner! Absolutely a place which we’ll return for a good food, drink, vibe, service and value for money. Totes worthy of our 5

Lots of vegetarian options in the menu and we ordered almost everything, and there isn’t one we didn’t enjoy. I learnt/tasted so many new veges that night too (from Bomba and our vego frens).

With 10 types of tapas/ sides (excl drinks), the bill works out to be under $40 per person. Totally scored!

Now for foodies out there, dishes you would not want to miss.
ENTREE
Croquetta - do yourself a favour and order more than 1 pp
Corn ribs - that sauce & spices….
Chickpea fritters - wouldn’t even know we were eating chickpea and the topping sauce
Piquolla Jam Montaditto - I still don’t really know what this exactly is but absolutely good!

SIDES
Patatas bravas - a bit on the salty side for me but the good crunch make it up
Jerusalem artichoke - it’s not potato nor brussel sprouts, it’s just yummy!
Celeriac - another new good one for my food-tionary
Grain salad with walnut - Yums!

Two years later, and I still think about the pumpkin dish from Bomba - the only pumpkin dish I have truly loved (every other place makes pumpkin too sweet and disgusting). They complemented pumpkin with romesco sauce, labne and manchego cheese. True masters of the craft if you can make something I usually hate amazing.

Can not recommend this place enough! Beautiful wine list and incredible tapas options. We started off with the bone marrow on toast with wagyu cecina, charcoal grilled quail with walnuts and figs, corn ribs with dried maize and chipotle sauce and the padron peppers. For a main we had the pork belly and chicken wing paella. Everything was absolutely delicious, packed full of flavour and super high quality. Will definitely be back.

The rooftop was superb. Up in the lift we were unprepared for the excellent efficient friendly service. We three had some excellent beer and our ordered dishes - Wagu beef, superb potatoes, outrageously tasty white gravy lamb dish was so good we needed more of the rustic tasty bread to mop up the remaining juices! The Comedy Theatre was just around the corner and was easy to get to

Nice rooftop spot to camp out at - not a huge space so seating can be limited, but once you get a spot, there are some great views of the city. The staff make great cocktails too:)

This is my new go to CBD lunch. The workers lunch is exceptional value and the food is so well cooked. Great selection of interesting a fresh dishes. Superb beer selection.

The food was great and the service even better. We had dinner at the Restaurant without making a reservation and the hostess and waitress were 10/10. They accommodated us and made us feel very comfortable.

However, the service at the rooftop wasn’t as great. There is room to improve.

Overall, a good experience and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely love bombar, the food is amazing and great for group dining. The bone marrow toast for entree is by far my favourite. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable

Great food and lovely service. The tapas arrived almost as soon as we finshed ordering them and were delicious. Great spot for date night. It was almost exclusively filled with couples. Low light and welcoming atmosphere. The cocktails were great and resonably priced.
Also, the chairs had a swivelling back rest that was interesting and surprisingly comfortable!
Didnt go to the roof top bar.

Highly recommend dropping in here for a bite.
