Bimbi Park reviews
74Highly recommended for family with kids. Had 1 night camping in a tent and woke up the next day to see 3 koalas on top of trees near us. The tagline on their website "Bimbi Park camping under koalas" is accurate. I guess we were lucky too
This place is amazing! Their facilities are great. They have minigolf for the kids, badminton, table tennis, etc.kids can feed the chooks. Theyve got great walks that are kids friendly. They also have different types of accommodation that will suit each families. We stayed in one of their cabins and we surely liked it. The linens are good quality and the bed is comfortable. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Kids also enjoyed the bonfire were they roasted their marshmallows. This is a perfect place to create memories! The place has no internet signal or minimal so all of you have time to talk to each other and enjoy every moment. Clean, safe for kids, great place for holiday! We would highly recommend this to everyone and will definitely come back!
Stayed here for two nights at one of the cabins. It was a decent stay although there were a few downsides - the first being the absence of WiFi in the property. The second thing was the lack of food options - there was just a small fish and chips shop and nothing else. Thirdly, the bathrooms didn't have any floor mats because of which the whole floor of the house became dirty. Also we faced almost a 4-hour long power cut on the first night (23 September 2022). Overall rating - 3.5/5
Bimbi Park is such a great place to wind down and relax with family and friends. The owners Frank and Kat and family are very helpful and accommodating We love the wood fire pizza nights and the fish and chip shop, great for when the parents want a break from preparing meals. Our kids enjoyed Bimbi Parks wildlife, seeing koalas, kangaroos, going for walks to station beach and rainbow falls were amazing. So many things you can do as a family or just relax and do nothing, The whole experience was fantastic, we all loved it, especially our kids and would definitely recommend it, can't wait to visit again. Thank you Frank, Kat and Family for making this place such an enjoyable welcoming holiday!
Lovely campsite with koalas roaming and beautiful walks you can do straight out from the site. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean, modern facilities.
Cracking camp ground in a beautiful setting with plenty of local fauna.
Be aware they are not connected to council water so do charge (mildly) for showers, but the price translates to excellent bathroom facilities.
Great play equipment for kids, communal kitchen and eating area that includes outdoor bbq's as well as indoor stove tops, toasters and microwave.
We stayed there for two nights. It is clean and well maintained place. They have a number of different accommodation including camping options, a place for every one. We will be getting back for sure and explore the camping option.
Amazing place. Staff were friendly and the facilities were great. The grounds are superb, filled with an abundance of animals and great walks.
We spotted heaps of beautiful wildlife and had a koala in the tree above our pod most of our stay.
The pod option was fantastic, it drizzled most of our stay and it was better than taking our swag.
In our haste to walk one more lap of the grounds to see the koalas we left our camp light in the pod. The staff called us promptly to let us know we left it behind and have posted it home at their expense.
We will stay many more nights here in the future.
No internet, no WiFi, rude, disrespectful and there was absolutely nothing to do there,
Never again, will not recommend ever.
Probably one of my favourite campgrounds so far, the perfect balance of nature and amenities you need. Group camping and bush camping areas are especially nice because both are specious and you can find a perfect spot just for you. They have golf, table tennis and bunch of other activities here, clean amenities, kitchen, and the best part is the wild life here - all kinds of birds, parrots and even koalas!
What a quaint little treasure amongst nature and the wildlife. Bimbi Park is a secluded little gem of a getaway from the hustle and bustle of other van parks. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the only negative was I didn't book long enough. Itdoesnt offer the fancy play equipment for kids but what it has the kids enjoy anyway. They play family friendly movie s som nights on an outdoor screen which the kids love. The amenities are very clean and well maintained. They run on tank water and the showers are coin operated with a time limit. This is a great idea for those who think about conservation. They also supply different types of bins for those who care about recycling. There I also a small store which offers everything from food, ice, drinks, alcohol, gas souvenirs, bait and firewood/ pits Everything you want is right there. The sites and cabins are of a great size so there's plenty of room for privacy. The owners are genuine, friendly people who care about making your stay fun, relaxing and memorable. This place although not having the perks of some other parks, it is such a nice place to stay if you dont want to be cramped in amongst hundreds of people. I can't wait to visit again and I will make sure I have plenty of time up my sleeve for an extended stay. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay in a beautiful hidden treasure
This place is just amazing!
All the good stuff:
Spacious, large camping sites. The office was also super flexible and accommodating letting you pick a spot.
The wildlife: koalas in trees and tons of birds everywhere.
Free activities! Table tennis, mini golf, badminton, and more.
Good facilities with hot water.
Great location close to other walks.
Great prices for camping.
The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner as there were dead flies everywhere.
But otherwise this place is a must visit!
We recommend staying in the unpowered sites as they are more open and in between the beautiful trees.
Staff were super friendly. Site was nice and clean. Saw a koala! And personally, I believe every camping site / caravan park should have a doggo at reception. 11/10 would come again. Didn’t get a chance to check out the fish and chips, but love that idea! Thanks!
Some guest can play guitar and chat loud at 1am.
But if I have younger children to lookafter, i may pick a not windy day and not in a busy season and take the children to come again, as it is a great place for children to see animals and to learn the beautifull nature world.
Nice and clean park, many animals.
BUT: we are foreigners without any experience of Australia, sorry! Travelling along the G. O. R, we arrived at 6 PM: our keys were at the reception.nobody there.we had no food, unfortunately, and no possibility to buy anything there, all is closed.we had just water for the dinner.and we wanted to take a shower.but it was only possible with Bambi-special-coins! And the machine to give these didn't accept our banknotes.and no possibility to change any coins! After a good night, we leaved the camp at 9 AM.the reception was still closed!
so, no food, no shower, and giving 52 $ for a simple wood Pod seems to be too expensive! Giving, with the key, 2 coins for a shower would be appreciated! We are very disappointed!
Best regards

Our favourite place to stay! Owners are super lovely, they treat you like family! Have had two awesome trips here and will be back!
Legendary staff who really looked after us after a booking error in peak season. The setting is beautful and campgrounds are well spaced out.
Beautiful serene place.solar cabins are the best of both worlds: comfortable self-contained family accommodation with an outlook onto beautiful bushland.we ate our dinner one night from our deck watching a koala in the tree next to us.
Loved it, we come from nz & it reminded us of home so much, soaking in nature, quiet n relaxing
Being my childrens 1st time camping experience in ozzie they absolutey love it
Every1 is friendly, toilets and showers always ammuculant me and my family will definitly be returning
Beautiful place to rest and rejuvenate has such a beautiful spot our dogs went mental lol We asked for a late check out and it was no problem
My car battery was dead and instead of calling racv they came and helped start my car
Definitely a 5 star place to stay
