On one side of the park is a big and long swamp, 2 meters away from camp sites. Lots of mosquitoes and a bit smelly.
Apart from a small jumping pillow not much to do for kids, well you always pay extra for buggy ride (I think that this should be free, though). The play ground is too old. We won’t be coming to this park again.
The camp kitchen is small only two hot plants, one wasn’t working during our stay, only one sink to wash the dishes.

Camped on a cold wet and windy night. The booking process was seamless. Welcome at the door was friendly, efficient and warm. Campsite was flat and sheltered. I slept like a log. And the cost was just fine.
Thanks!

The only reason we put one star was to be able to write this review.
We booked and specifically told them I had 2 service dogs.as we couldn't get a booking a poulet river on same weekend.
It was a disaster from the word go.
My partner was rudely spoken to by Richard about them not knowing that we had dogs.even though there was many other dogs there aswell.my son was in hospital that day of check in and so my sister and partner got there early to set up.
I heard the way Richard spoke to my partner and return to confirm that dogs were not mentioned on booking.that's their lack of communication between their staff.don't take it out on the campers.
We set up Friday and met many other campers in front side and the front.
We had many kids and I had to personally fix the chicken wire fence put up as it was collapsed.that was unsuitable.
I got some clip ties and did the best I could.
From 4 powered sites 3 water taps bent and impossible to open to use.
We had to use a car as a bed for my son who just had surgery that morning.
But their assumption before asking led to a lecture by a super abnoccious man named Lindsay, that they stipulate that there's only one car per site, we had 6 in total.
2 were temporarily parked as we had to unload for all our family.
So I counted with that rude Lindsey and he then realised it would be 4 in total.
Within minutes he has come around walking to recount again.
We like to holiday in peace, not with management hovering over our shoulders.
He calls me over with his index finger like I am a dog and calls me BUDDY. I have a name.
Humiliated me in front of all my family and other campers watching.
I waited for him to return and told him exactly what I felt and thought of his uneducated people skills.miserable old man he was. He upset my whole family.
I have complicated health, with diabetis, bad eyesight, sleep issues due to breathing and high blood pressure, anxiety and PTSD due to been in ICU also that week.
We were there to celebrate my son's belated birthday as the prior weekend we had that mini lockdown.
At night Sharon and Richard aproached us about noise levels.after 10pm.
No one complaint it's them that are shallow, no passion, no culture no life.
Everyone else from other sites joined us and we're having our holiday.
It's a camping area not a prison.
Without each of us they wouldn't operate and have an income yet we get treated in a very disrespectful manner.
We even shared our culinary passion with Sharon and Richard to have for lunch next day.thinking they were legitimate humans with a heart.
Next day we all went fishing and unfortunately my greyhound service dog got on the loose and I was sent a rude message from the office.
No manners whatsoever.
Many campers helped us look for my dog MIA and no-one complaint except.yes you guessed it management.
They made up stories of others complaining yet it's them to have to have a power trip on campers.
No one from the 8 families we met were impressed and we all kindled a connection and all agreed we will never return to BOOTrude camp again.pathetic.
Lindsey should be nominated for the rudest male of the year, lacks education and people skills.should use some of our money that comes from, engineers, top chefs, architects, midwife's, nurses, lawyers, graphic designers, sportsman, champion boxers, and more that were in our trip.our educated money that rolled into their account.educated resourced money for their education in people skills and management.
My dog was found and then king Lindsey returned telling me he was delivering linen, blah blah blah, I don't argue with ignorant people as they only beat you with experience.
We had a nice get together once again Saturday only for Lindsey to come and complain about noise again.
We told him to leave and he just wanted to cause conflict.no one complained.if anyone complains they should have approached us face to face.
We went to all the sites and asked everyone if they complained and they all said no.
I won't repeat the comments they made about.

Had no problems, but the real surprise was that my cabin on the inside had wooden walls that had many face patterns on it to be made out)

Stayed here for 2 nights camping. Very accommodating to us, as we had a friend cancel on us a week before we were due to go, and after we had paid the deposit. But they still didnt make us pay for her which was really nice. Very friendly people at reception. Toilets and showers were clean and very usable. It did get hot in there on the hot days. We were camped next to a swamp, but there was no smell or insect issues, but I did come back with a few bites but I can't be certain it was from the swamp! There was a big pillow for kids, although my friends and I waited patiently for a free moment where we could use it and it was super fun! Lots of people around and all looked like they were having a great time! We didn't use the main camp kitchen but we used a BBQ near the amenities. Took a while to heat up but it did the job. There was a sink and dishwashing liquid for us there too. There a paddle bikes for hire which are good fun too. Have stayed here before and will definitely be back again.

The unit we paid for was less than good.we couldn't watch ch9.they had a tech in he couldn't fix it.then if U turned on the light switch in the spare room.it cut out the tv.the flouro light went on off on off for no reason.ants everywhere.taps the bathroom just kept turning and turning.and I dropped money beside the bed in the spare room and wen I lifted the mattress.we found 2 soiled paired of undies.reported all this to the manager bob.and he didn't care less.even after I pointed out someone mite get electrocuted.he was only concerned about wat we were cooking and a drone he's got.there's plenty of accommodation on pH island and I be going back there and will tell others not to either.

The park is nicely situated, with its almost own quiet small beach. The amenities were clean and tidy (probably best of any parks we have been to). The unpowered tent site was next to a swamp, but didn't have any issues of insects or poor land. There is also another tent site just next to the reception. We really enjoyed the paddle karts you can hire for $10 for half an hour.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay there, the staff has been nothing but helpful. We went when the weather was going to turn terrible so we booked the last available cabin although it's way too small for our group. Upon finding out, the staff offered to cancel the booking for us and gave us two large bunk cabins instead, for free! On top of that they also offered us the function room to hang out, which made our stay a lot more comfortable. Thanks again for going above and beyond big 4 Philip island! We would recommend this place highly.

Perfect family holiday. The two bedroom cabin was clean, warm and comfortable. The kids loved the playground, jumping pillow and buggies.

It was a 2 minute walk to the beach (with the path going direct from the caravan park to the sand), so we could go whenever we wanted!

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

The kids want to come back, and so do we. Will definitely book again soon!
