Bianchet Winery & Fable dining room

I'm torn about writing this, because if I tell everyone just how amazing the Fable Dining Room is at Bianchet, then I have to share! What an experience, the food is exceptional and the concept is clever. Loved the Bianchet Chardonnay and I'm not usually big on YV Chardonnay. Pretty sure all our family events will be here from now on. (Seems the new owners have given it a nice face-lift too)

Zero stars. Unbearably hot, airconditioning not working. Manager hostile. Waited for over 2 hours, fighting off flies, for a appallingly mismanaged service. Some members had finished their meal before others arrived. Side of vegetables came after meal finished. After waiting 2 hours for 3 pieces of ravioli one contained dry flour along with the pumpkin!

Outrageously expensive for what was received.

Abandon all hope yea who entered here.

Arrived during advertised opening hours for dinner but it was closed. Tried phoning but just rang out

We had our wedding here yesterday and it was nothing short of sensational! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere fun and the staff and service we could not fault. Beautiful place for a ceremony and celebration. Thank you Bianchet winery for making our day so memorable!

Friends and I went for lunch.
Ordered the Thai beef salad with cashews.
But they forgot to put the cashews in.
Then paying at the register they said $21 I said but it’s $18 on the menu.
Didn’t care they didn’t check the menu.
Other friend ordered prawns and for main mail only got 5 prawns.
Yeah had to do a maccas run after lunch.
Won’t be going back there again.
Waitress didn’t even come up and ask if we wanted more drinks.
Very poor service.

Poor service. Food order incorrect. Waited extensive time for meal and still got it incorrect. Waiter spilled drinks on table but did not clean it up. Some orders were dry and burnt. Asked for extra chocolate sauce with dessert which arrived when we all completed our dessert. Need to pick up their game as food is not cheap for such poor service. Waiter did not know the menu and gave mushroom dish as fish dish to friend. Lots of flies present. Not happy!

As we walked in we saw a waitrese spill drinks all over a customer. We then asked to do a tasting and we were refused. They clamied the cellar door was under maintenance.

Came here for wine and cheese on a Saturday, got turned away because they were “too busy” even though there was almost no one there. Very unimpressed indeed!
