Our meals tasted nice but this place is lacking in service which is a shame because the experience would have been much better. Apon early arrival of 10min, with only one other small group there and empty seats, we were told to wait or visit the cellar door. The cellar door was closed. 15min after our booking time and staff standing around inside doing nothing, I had to ask them again if we could be seated. With a booking and empty seating, I dont see why you would not seat your guests. Larger groups that arrived after we ordered were served their meals first. By the time we got our starter it was over an hour after our booking.
During the main, one finished plate was taken while the rest of us were still half way through. (pete peeve) Staff were not rude though and the food was nice.

Yummo! We just completed our Valentine's Day Hamper, what a treat! We loved every bit of it. Thanks Bianchet for your lockdown love hamper, every morsel was devine.

A lovely intimate winery, with the restaurant looking out onto I guess what you could call a courtyard or just outdoor restaurant area as well as looking into their vineyard.
We were greeted by a lovely waitress (I feel terribly for not noting her name) who looked after us for the night.

My partner and I both had Quail for our entree. For main, I had the lamb (pictured) and my partner had the pork, we also had a side of delicious potatoes cooked in garlic and duck fat
We both thoughorly enjoyed our mains as well. I forget the finer detail of our dishes but you will just have to go to and check it out for yourselves!
I also enjoyed a couple of glasses of Bianchets' Sauvignon blanc. I am not a wine connoisseur so I really have no idea what to comment other than I enjoyed it

A surprisingly good find for a late night dinner in Yarra Valley! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Ambiance was cosy and felt more private. Great tasting food, love their gnocchi and banana crepe! Good portions and good value for money. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.

The restaurant is in a nice location, the food is delicious. The only complaint is the service is slow. Entrees set up after 40 minutes of waiting. The main course arrived 1 hour after the entrees. For a restaurant of such quality food and such prices, the service should be much faster and the toilets should be in a much better condition.

Had to wait almost 2 hrs to get the main dish.
While the food was Ok, I think is a little bit overpriced. $160 for 2 glasses of wine, and 2 entry and 2 main dishes. We left the place feeling hungry. Quite disappointing.

I love Bianchet so much, the venue is beautiful, food is amazing, wine is perfect, and service with respect and care like it should. The chef has so much respect from me due his beautiful food, friendly natural, and appreciation for great produce and minimise waste. Can’t wait to come again. Ps try the gnocchi!

An amazing food experience. Delicious and subtle flavours. The starters are simply divine. In a nut shell - the restaurant and the chef deserve Michelin stars. Will be back

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the eye fillet for main with was cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were divine. The wines offered were of good quality and I really enjoyed the Yarra valley rose from Medhurst winery. Dessert was the chocolate and salted caramel tart. The service was great and the waitress looked after us well. One of the waiters admitted it was his first day and he was a bit nervous. He tried his best to look after us and did quite well. I would totally recommend this restaurant.

Due to COVID, wife and I had to postpone our anniversary dinner and night out by several months. We were able to get a booking on a Friday at Bianchet simply because they returned our call. A good start.
From there.it only got better.
Despite having a large corporate event on the same night (in another section of the winery), the staff, and our waiter Sarah, were very attentive for the whole night. We wanted for nothing. She didnt hover, but kept an eye out, and came over at the exact correct time. All questions re menu were answered.and she actually sent the bar lady out when she didn't understand our drink request.so it was served perfectly when we got it.
We had the three course meal. Each was perfect down to the last mouthful. Nothing too heavy, meat cooked spot on, wifes salmon melted off the fork.
Desert was best we've ever had.
We also ordered a bottle of their 2017 pinot noir which was great.our waiters suggestion to go with meal.
We had never been before but will definitely be going back. A nice touch was having one of the owners come over and serve us our bottle of wine and have a chat. Very pleasant and friendly.
Thanks Bianchet for a great night. See you next time.

Had a two course meal here, wish we’d had more time so I could have had the dessert too! Everything was delicious, however I ordered a rare steak and my friend ordered medium-to-well-done, but we both got medium-rare.hers was arguably more pink than mine! It was still delicious for me but she left most of hers. Will be back all the same)

My partner and I went last night for our last date night dinner before we have our first child.
It was extremely unpleasurable.
They had 2 large events outside and one inside, the noise was absolutely shocking that we couldn't even have a conversation along with all the other couples that chose to dine last night. The service was non existent, each time we needed to order something or ask a question we had to get up to find a waiter.

Along with that we waited 1.5 hours between entree & main meals, we canceled our dessert order & went home.

Such a poor night and shocking planning/ communication on the restaurants end to not let us know when booking of the events they had on.

I conducted a wedding here as a celebrant (November 2020). Marthe and her team looked after everything. Excellent for an intimate setting, audience of 40 were easily accommodated, with room for more. Access is at grade (no steps!) so great for wheelchairs, pushers etc. Recommended.

Fabulous dinner on a Friday night.
Out in the Yarra Valley set amongst the vineyards this lovely restaurant albeit small certainly packs a punch when it comes the menu, service, wine list and food.
Local produce, herbs and some veg from their kitchen garden makes up the menu.
The presentation is second to none.
Sizable portions, fasting flavours and interesting results.
Highly recommended.

Had the three course lunch, the food was delicious but unfortunately due to the impact of covid-19 they have had to ramp up quickly and was caught with a number of new staff that impacted their service, although their experienced staff stepped up. Will definitely be back. As a side note the fries are great.

Paul and family give you a fabulous culinary experience with courteous service at a reasonable price. Situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley the ambience is breathtaking.

Can highly recommend Bianchet Winery for weddings. My daughter and fiancé had their original wedding venue cancel on them 5 months before their big day. After the initial panic we contacted Bianchet and Paul and his team took over. There was nothing too hard for them. All guests commented on how great the food and venue were. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect! If you are looking for a relaxed beautiful venue - this is the place! All we can say is thank you team Bianchet!
