Beechworth Bakery Bendigo reviews
67Totally the best coffee ever and I’m definitely fussy when it comes to my coffee. The barista there makes it perfect each time and will be there tomorrow morning for another brilliant coffee. Also the atmosphere is friendly and so are the staff.
Expensive (for pies and pastries) and not very tasty. The beating seemed almost stale. It was a busy day so there should have been a lot of turn over.
Pies are awesome! Customer service is the best they are so welcoming. Made my son feel welcome as well. I fully recommend this place.
Went here for a quick lunch. Was very surprised at the huge variety. Pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing.
Huge range of desserts and bakery goods, fresh pies and sausage rolls, healthy wraps, rolls with meat and salad and also coffee and drinks. Huge amount of seating so you won't have any problem finding somewhere to sit down with your family either indoor or outdoor.
First time here and many people recommending it coming through Bendigo. Lives up to the name I must say.
Had a Beechworth steak pie and a cheese, bacon and egg toastie. The egg and cheese in the toastie was perfect, bacon could have been spread out further but still was very good.
Pie was good, had some nice textures to it.
Also, very friendly service and CLEAN interior.
Good food, as always.tucked into a Ned Kelly Pie and vanilla slice which were both very nice. It was pretty busy and a few more staff would have been to assist with service, but everywhere is struggling for staff.
Had a amazing coffee there this morning, the staff were all so welcoming and so kind would definitely suggest coming again:)
Ordered from the Celebration package for my daughter’s 7th birthday. Staff quoted the wrong price over the phone and I am not aware it was wrong (given me much lesser price than it should be, about a quarter of the package price)
Their supervisor (Nicole) handles the situation very well. She rung me and let me know that I was given the wrong price, but instead of telling me that I need to pay the correct price she didn’t charged me more than what I’ve been quoted for.
This is exceptional customer service. We don’t see this much anymore around. Kudos to you Nicole, I salute your ownership and being accountable for situations like this. You made my day easier and less stressful.
The eggs Benedict wrap was delicious. Sorry no photo but definitely A+ for this wrap. Great place to stop for a meal. We sat in a booth and enjoyed the sunshine.
Pie to hot to eat.
Sausage roll was stone cold.
Coffee was given to wrong customer.
Toasted sandwich tasted like a fireplace.
Chicken Caesar wrap terrible no Caesar sauce very very dry absolutely no taste will not return to Bendigo Beechworth bakery
Nice clean premises, and good range of bakery products. Down side, no paper towels in gents toilet, and worst milkshake I have ever had.
Long black way too hot, ham & cheese toastie really good but no seating in restaurant? Certainly not a breakfast option at the moment.
I was excited when I found Bendigo had a Beechworyh Bakery, we have been to the Echuca one many times and loved it, My husband received a nuclear hot pie and cold sausage roll, I got a ham and cheese toasty and a coffee, I went to collect, and they gave my coffee to someone else and the toastie was blah, once they remade my coffee, I got them to put My coffee in take away cup and we left, I went out the door, there was no watch step sign, I fell over, spilt my coffee everywhere, staff didn't even help! A lovely couple sitting next to the door helped! I will never go there again!
The pies & cakes were beautiful... BUT the service was terrible! The slowest service I have experienced in a long time.
Good food and good service. Inexpensive too - prices for some things are about a dollar under what you would pay elsewhere and they make it there.
Covid isn't helping, sat outside, plenty outdoor seating, appeared to be more cars in the carpark then staff and customers. Limited to choice of food. Just another bakery.
Beestings were delicious, so was the pepper steam pie, but I wish they'd kept up their supply of mushroom steak as that's my favourite.
I’m a little torn. I went in looking for a meat pie and a vanilla slice at around 1pm. Was told their were no meat pies and no vanilla slices left. Was very disappointed. So instead I got a beef and potato pie and a bee sting.
Pie was very ordinary but bee sting was amazing.
Not sure why they ran out of things so early in the afternoon.
