As soon as we walked in we were not even greeted the lady at the door literally gave us dirty looks and didn't say a word, until I said hello I have a booking, then didn't even really egnolage me will not be recommended this place to anyone as we drove almost 2 hours to this appointment! To pushy and made me feel so uncomfortable!

A hidden gem! So many beautiful gowns that were really good quality. I preferred the stock to higher profile wedding dress shops in Malvern/ Prahran. Very friendly and helpful staff that made the process a joy rather than a stressful experience!

So impressed with service and thorough help and time that was given. Gina was amazing in giving me advice and encouraging me to try on dresses I didn’t have in mind. Gina was so friendly and very helpful. Amazing service!

Tanja and Felicity are excellent! Incredibly welcoming, helpful and made great recommendations. Tanja made the whole process easy, including a covid reschedule and Felicity did an incredible job with the alterations. They have a great range of gowns with lots of popular brands. Dont be put off by the tired shop signage.

The ladies at Be A Star Bridal are wonderful! I bought my wedding dress from another store online, and Felicity did a great job of altering it to make sure it was the perfect fit. It looked amazing on the day!

Please avoid this business, they are highly deceptive and will try to squeeze every dollar out of you.
The customer service woman was nice to me but the business practices are highly unethical. They will charge you for accessories that are supposed to come with the dress, not inform you of additional alteration costs until it’s completed so you have no choice but to pay. They also don’t allow photos of a dress that you already own, just because ‘it hasn’t gone through alterations yet’.
All they needed to do was be honest. Instead they extorted me out of my money. Do not add stress to your special day, go to professionals elsewhere.

I could not recomend Be A Star Bridal more if I tried. They are just amazing!
I had a dress and two overskirts ruined by another dressmaker and with a week left to go Felicity not only managed to fix everything but also make it 10 times better and it was all so easy and stress free for me. From the moment I walked in I knew I was in good hands.

And to those lucky ladies out there who are in the middle of looking for their wedding dress, do yourself a favour and go straight to Be A Star Bridal. They have a massive selection of beautiful gowns and if I was to go back in time I would not bother going anywhere else.

This is an amazing and helpful team. They have a stunning collection of dresses. By chance my daughter bought her wedding dress in New York but it needed a few alterations. Even though we had bought the dress elsewhere, they treated us like family. They spent a lot of time with us to get the alterations perfect. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic and friendly. Everything was done on time and stress free. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff that assisted us. Thanks.

I had purchased my wedding dress somewhere else but got it altered by Felicity from Be a Star Bridal due to the great reviews their alteration team were getting online and the proximity of the store from where I reside. She did such an amazing job and was so lovely to work with. I cannot thank Felicity and the entire BASB team for making me feel very beautiful and comfortable in my wedding dress on my special day. I wish I can wear my dress again!

I was with my brothers fiancé looking for a plus size wedding dress. I really wanted it to be a good experience for her as it's stressful enough with preparations let alone looking for the perfect dress. Diane who served us did not disappoint!
The bride to be really loved how Diane handled her with grace and honestly when considering each dress she tried.

Be a Star Bridal has wonderful staff who are very knowledgeable and have great advice without being pushy at all. They have a great array of dress designs and prices to choose from. The lady who does the alterations is so on the ball, they had a layer taken out that I didn't want before I even attended my first fitting! Was a great surprise and left me with no worries about having my dress altered in the mere month they had to complete it!

The women at Be A Star Bridal are amazing! They made me feel genuinely beautiful in my dress without going over the top. They were accommodating to what I wanted and the prices were sensible. My dress looks amazing and I cannot thank these ladies enough for making this aspect of my wedding planning so easy and enjoyable.

Exceptional Customer service! My first ever bridal fitting and Diane made me feel completely comfortable with her. She was honest and not at all pushy, which I appreciated. The gowns are lovely and there’s a great variety to choose from. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for that great bridal experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Be a Star Bridal! Although I did not get my dress from here, they fitted me in for very last minute alterations after I'd had quite a negative with another dressmaker. With only a week before my wedding, I took my dress in and they could see the problems I was having and fixed them straight away! They even pointed out a number of other issues and fixed it all within the week before my wedding. They were so lovely to work with and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a dress or alterations. Thank you for making my dress perfect for my big day!

I would not recommend this business to any brides to be/mother of the brides/bridesmaids. Difficult to deal with and the service is poor. Be aware and steer clear.
