Bay City Burrito

From what I've heard about the owner from word of mouth is that he treats his staff poorly, doesn't pay them penalty rates or a fair wage and swears at them. Will not be supporting this establishment.

I'm not a coriander fan, and it makes me so happy to find a burrito joint which doesn't have it all through the rice! I had the pulled pork burrito which was tender and cheesy and delicious. My San Franciscan partner had the fish burrito which he also rated highly, and quelled his home-sickness a little. We will definitely be returning.

Awesome food. We go in person and order on UberEats. Can you consider making the chicken quesadilla available on UberEats as well as Sprites?

Really good Mexican “fast food” joint. Good for take away but also they have indoor and outdoor tables to eat at. Only think I would recommend was the deep fried cauliflower - wasn’t crunchy or spicy enough.

Over priced to the max. Scenic railway didn't even work. Not much there. Ghost train about as scary as a mother in laws kiss. Most exciting part was the souvenir shop

Awesome food. Really good service. Although.their spicy salsa is not spicy at all. The chocolate chilly ice cream however, is spicy and delicious.

I went to BCB one day after a monstrous night on the goon. Usually after such an occasion my taste buds are shot, however, the food at this joint was so damn good my taste buds had a new lease of life and I was able to feel happiness once again

Great place for your mexican craving. We had the enchilada style burrito and chip with queso. It was plenty for two and very tasty. Both the mandarin margarita and Tommy's margarita were awesome as well. Would recommend.

Amazing burrito - cabo supreme. A bit pricey, though i would rate it $$. But they cook every order from scratch

The burritos and tacos were amazing however the main staff member today was quite rude and gave us attitude regarding a minor mixup with our reservation so we did not appreciate that at all.

Good burritos, however a bit overpriced. Especially if you want to add vegan cheese to a vegan burrito, that’s an additional $2.50. How much does a sprinkle of vegan cheese cost?

Sorry to give a poor review since the staff was nice but anyone thinking this is good Mexican food has never had it. Like most food in Australia it was bland and inoffensive, but that's not what Mexican food is supposed to be like.

Food was very good, try the echilada style burrito, jalapeño margarita is also a very curios one to try, there was a colombian mate very active and helpful, he was the one that convinced us to have the margarita and it was worthy. Great service and food.

Such a beautiful place with good foods!
I was with my friends and we totally love everthings. The staffs are very friendly too, and seem very passionate but especially Nicholas. It was such a great experience

Tacos and burritos were oh so delicious. Wish we bought more but had to rush back to the tour bus. Love Australia. The duchess and prince were in the area the same afternoon.

A great place to eat burritos and related cuisine. Intimate, cozy setting. Staff efficient and friendly.

I came here late at night and oh god everything tasted amazing! I had the jackfruit bbq burrito and I died and went to heaven. So tasty and so big!

I've been coming to both Bay City Burritos in Hawthorn and St Kilda for years!
Specially for the Bay City Bomber and the Cabo Special. On the last outing tho after almost a year since last being there the meat on the Cabo Special was dry, also they seem to have gotten smaller in size and I couldn't get over the price for a burrito and a beer! Don't know what's going on but management needs to step in, I'd hate for this place to get gradually worse and expensive.
