Bared Footwear Armadale

Love love love my experience with team Bared. I purchased online but the shoes didn’t fit so I went to the store and the staff were so helpful in helping me find the perfect fit!

I realised today I haven’t experience heel pain in a month, since I started wearing my Bared sneakers. I think that should speak for itself:)
Only buying Bared from now

I could not have higher praise for Bared.

Firstly, their shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have wide feet and for most of my life, shoes have never fitted and have always left me in pain. I never thought I'd be able to wear shoes that were beautiful, but also comfortable and not in any way painful.

Secondly, their customer service is amazing. They will go above and beyond to make sure you get the right pair that fits well.

They're well worth the cost. It does seem expensive, but when you break it down to cost per wear, and the benefit of being comfortable, it's well worth it. I haven't bought shoes from another company since I bought my first pair in 2018.

The customer service was exceptional. I found out part way through being helped that the person assisting me was being trained, yet she had such a strong knowledge of the shoes and the different options I would not have known. On top of this high level of knowledge, she was humble enough that if she was unsure of anything at all, she made sure to get advice from her colleagues to ensure the best fitting shoe for my foot. The staff in this store worked as a really good team.
I can be quite indecisive and I like to have all of the information, trying different options before making a purchase so I was in there for quite some time, but the shop assistant made me feel comfortable and continually re-assured me that she wanted to help me find the best fit and a pair of shoes that I would love.
This was the best experience of customer service I have ever had and I'm looking forward to wearing my new shoes! I will definitely be back.

I've purchased a number of shoes from Bared and they never disappoint! I wanted shoes that would support my feet, look stylish and I could wear at any time. I'm wearing my Dunlins or Ravens every day and even during the COVID lockdown they make me feel like I'm dressed up when I'm wearing jeans. Thank you Bared for providing me with my beautiful shoes!

I’ve had foot problems for 15 years, and despite half a dozen podiatrists and numerous orthotics, I would still be hobbling for days after a long walk (forget about running). Your shoes have changed my life! I’ll never buy another brand again.

I have never been to the store, but have ordered four pairs of shoes online from Bared. The shoes are made to last, perfect quality with a level of foot support that is not found in any other shoe I have tried. On top of that, the customer service at Bared is the best level of service I have ever received from a company. They go above and beyond to find the right shoe for you, sending you different pairs to try on with quick responses via email. Could not recommend more, 10/10 you will not regret your purchase! Bared has a customer for life, and I'm slowly switching my whole shoe collection over to Bared.

The only shoes I can wear all day without getting sore feet, I live in bared shoes! Oh and they have the best service ever! I love that Bared will send you out another pair of shoes to try if you didn't get it right the first time. They make it super easy!

I cannot recommend highly enough, the staff here were absolutely amazing. I've been in twice returning an online order that just wasn't fitting right. Both times the staff were so lovely and helpful and didn't make me feel like the pain I know I was being.

Went in today because I had purchased the wrong size online. Lisa was super helpful and found me some insoles and heel pads to fix the sizing! Great customer service!

So super impressed with my shoes, so comfortable and really impressed with the quality. But it's there insanely amazing online customer service team that really blew me away! Don't think I've ever had so much help and such fantastic service ever. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I cannot emphasise enough just how good Bared customer service is (both in store and online). The shoes are excellent quality, comfortable and stylish. I will be buying all of my shoes from here!

I gave them an opportunity to respond however they ignored me so here it is. My wife and I (I counted the boxes) have 20 pairs. Recently I had to send a pair of Black Aluminium to a cobbler to repair the sole. He informed me the shoe is made of an inferior construction quality and definitely DOES NOT have a Blake stitch. The stitch you see under the sole is fake. Not impressed they advertise a Blake stitch and not impressed they use a fake stitch. We will not buy pair 21.

Appalling service in Armadale. I made a point to travel to Bared Footwear in Armadale to buy a pair of shoes as I heard it was a bigger store. From the minute I walked in I was ignored. I could see they had three staff on the floor and they were busy but there was no acknowledgment from any of the staff. I tried to get someone's eye contact and eventually chose a pair of sandals and tried them on.

I went there to buy a pair and had my chosen pair in my hand but after being absolutely ignored for 10 minutes I ended up walking out. Would have been nice if they had smiled and reassured that they would help me soon.

I’ve been a long time fan of these well made shoes. Recently, they have excelled themselves at customer service. I left a less than ideal review about a pair of sandals and they contacted me twice to try and resolve it. Offering way more than expected, even chasing me up when I forgot to follow up. Thanks for going out of your way to ensure upmost customer satisfaction!

Unfortunately, these shoes just aren't for me. I purchased a pair of heels online and noticed they were too big for me. When i went to the Armadale store the lady insisted that this was the correct size even though my foot was falling out of the shoe. I ended up leaving with a smaller size that fit better after some persistence. Unfortunately, a two wears the inside logo came unstuck and started cutting the bottom of my foot. I went back to the store and thankfully the assistant said she would get them repaired as she said they had been worn too much already. She couldn't give me much detail on how. When the shoes got sent back to me (the convenience of this is a plus!) I saw that they had just been glued down. This lasted perhaps two more short wears (i sit at a desk for 8 hours a day) and came unstuck once again.

I realise that it has been so long since I've last worn these shoes so i highly doubt anything can be done. But as i mentioned to the sales assistant the first time I came in for the repair i didn't want the leather to be just stuck down again for it to come off.

I really wanted to love this brand after following them for so long on Instagram but unfortunately i don't think i will be wearing these shoes again. It's ashame as these shoes are not cheap and i really loved the idea behind these shoes. But i dont think they fit me correctly or give me the relief that i need.

Came first on a podiatrist recommendation last year and am currently wearing a lovely pair of Bared shoes at the end of a long day and realised I never did proper feedback. I keep coming back again and again - wear corporate shoes with orthotics to work every day and love them. I have also just come back from 8 weeks in a hot climate walking for miles every day in a pair of sandals - these I especially love - I'm not used to having support without orthotics and getting to enjoy open-toed shoes. Super personalised service - they even make a file after a foot assessment so you can shop online appropriately. Highly recommend!

It my first time visiting Bared after a recommendation from my Podiatrist. From the moment I walked in Annie approached me warm & friendly- it was quite a busy day, but Annie sailed through like a dream knowing how to manage her time and attention. Annie measured my feet, she was patient and offered great guidance and advice. I left with 4 pairs! They feel super comfortable and I can't wait to wear them and give my feet the relief they need (whilst still looking stylish).
