Ayam Penyet Ria reviews
82 I tried ayam penyet which was 13$, a bit salty but yum. The plate included tempeh and tofu as well. They have a robot serve you as waiter which is sooooo good, loved that. Highly recommended
It is self service you can grab cutlery, water, glass, …
Super friendly and the price is fair
I really like the Ayam Bakar! It was so good with the rice and super spicy Indonesian chilli! I tried the Martabak telor today and I couldn’t stop eating it
This place deserves 4 star for food but 3 or less star for cleanliness. The tables, chairs, floors were so dirty. The waitress wiped the table with probably a dirty cloth. Not sure how clean the kitchen is.
There's nothing to hype about the food and there's they won't even allow you to uses the toilet.
I was being served by Max and he gave my friends and I a good service and a really nice service. For the food, the food is really nice. The ayam penyet is the best of all them and the fresh chili is so good
Great Indonesian food with relatively authentic taste, and the right spicyness of sambal. A must try if you're looking for alternative asian foods.
This is my 1st trip to melbourne n I Tried empal penyet all I can say Enak.thank u
Indonesian Food is the best
The food is fantastic and Kathy is so helpful and really efficient. Best customer service from Kathy!
Great food great service! Very accomodating on spaces. Food quickly delivered this time:) Kathy checks on our table frequently even the restaurant is packed! She run up and down all the way! Great job
The place is really nice and well located. However I went to have lunch on Monday 14th March 2022, on my break from work. The person at the counter advised me of of the first thing on the menu, adding that it will be done in 5 mins time. I had asked for something fast as I didn’t have much time on my break. After waiting outside on a table for 20 mins, I went inside because I was shocked of the wait time. I saw ALL the STAFF were busy eating food inside the kitchen! My food was ready but packed and stapled inside a takeaway bag LYING in a corner. The staff handed me the bag hurriedly apologising for the delay, and then went back immediately to eat their food.
I work 2 hospitality jobs and understand the little time we get to eat and then get back to work, but this is THE WORST experience I have had at a restaurant. Good place and okay food but staff/management is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They need to improve, even if it’s just by staff taking their meal breaks at different time at different times and not all together.
The bestt Indonesian restaurant in Melbourne! Great and friendly stafff! Happy with the food always
Never changing menu, so many sold out. The app ordering has items that are not available. This place has gone downhill.
RIA is not just a restaurant, its a small piece of space you can call home. It was a pioneer of indonesia cooking before. I still remember the my first bite from RIA when I visit melbourne from canberra 5 years ago which remind me of homeplace. The sambal was so spicy it makes you cries (in a good way). Thank you RIA for the memories.
Interesting place with the robot serving you. Good menu for Indonesian food, I got the Gado Gado which was very tasty. Took a bit of time to come out but otherwise happy with the place
Came here for lunch with my colleagues. Today I ordered the grilled chicken with rice and soup. Unfortunately I dont remember what the name is but it's a green colour soup that's amazing.
The chicken- the star - was marinated so well and grilled to perfection. Moist and complex flavour, it's hard to describe how happy I was eating it.
The green chilli - yummy. Fried tofu - yummy. Every element was done well before putting together.
Theyve just "hired " a robot waiter so will be something extra cool for your visit!
Nice and friendly staff. We will be coming back many more times!
Very good and authentic food. I only wish teh tarik was made to order and not bottled but I can understand that they're always busy.
Went to have my dinner with my wife, your staff at the counter asking me whether I want to dine in I said yes and he ask me for a digital certificate! I show it to him, he didn't ask for my wife digital certificate, although I am vaccinated, I never agree to segregate between a vaxx and non vaxx peoples, non vaxx peoples is still a humans, they are not the main reasons why so many covid case's appears, the case is among peoples vaccinated too so do not segregate between us humans if you think you are humans too.before you answer me "it's a government regulations" let me me tell you first, you can do if you wish to do but you can refuse if you wish not to do, agree to disagree.kamu menjerut tali dileher kamu sendiri.
Ayam Penyet Ria serve the best and the most authentic Indonesian cuisine in town with 100% original herbs. I would like to give it a 10/10 for every dish especially their favorite menu, Ayam Penyet itself.
Tasty, authentic Indonesian food.
Loved the bebek penyet and iga bakar, portions were good for the price as well.
Service was also excellent despite the busy lunch rush hour.
Thank you, will definitely be a returning customer.
My fave indo to go. Simple, delish, fast and great price! Loving to chat with the friendly staffs too
