Arguably Australia’s best restaurant and rightly so. The team at Attica are always pushing the boundaries of what it means to eat.

At this sitting, we ate emu liver, crocodile ribs, meat free burgers and ants, amongst many other things.

But the truly amazing part, so that whilst the thought may be slightly disconcerting, the delivery, taste and experience is flawless.

The wine pairing was fantastic to go will and amazing meal. Love this place, wish I could come more often!

This would have to be one of Melbourne's best restaurants. True 5 star. Food is unexpected and amazing. Fit out is unpretentious and very comfortable. As you would expect alcohol is expensive but to really enjoy the food experience you dont want to drink too much (Never thought I'd hear me say that). There are some surprises at Attica, no spoilers from me.
Probably the odd thing is it's address.

Went for a friend’s birthday and we were all seriously underwhelmed and disappointed and will never return. We arrived slightly before our booking at 6pm and the door was locked with no way of getting in - not okay to be standing outside in the cold and rain at the so called best restaurant in Melbourne. We waited almost an hour for our first course which I proceeded to choke on (eating ants on a leaf that looked like it came off a tree is not my idea of fun). The rest of the courses were a blur or “clever” but not tasty or special morsels. After almost 5 hours I started to lose my rag and insisted we leave. The account came to over $1,000 for the 3 of us - money I wish we’d spent somewhere else. On the way home we continued to discuss and express our disbelief that this restaurant was so famous and lauded - literally speechless. Oh and special mention for the ridiculously poor service - we had to keep looking for waiters and felt like the least important people in the room.

Attica was hands down the best meal I've ever had. The staff was amazing, the food to due for. I would recommend to anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

Mind blown. An amazing experience. Unique combinations of delicious food.
It's not just about the meal, it's an experience.

More than just dining and good food. It was a tactile, creative and unforgettable experience. Flew to Melbourne for a night out here and would happily do it again. Worth every cent.

Was little disappointed. It was super creative but taste, taste structure, pairing (ordered a combination of wines and juices) were just okay. Paricularly operation which was getting slower as there are more visitors was very disappointing. It made us to stay there for 4.5 hours but most of the time, without dishes. Amuse bouche was the best among all.

Beyond fabulous. Transcendental. Top 3 meals of my life and I’ve done at least 30 of top 50 restaurants globally.

Execution, ingenuity, service. I’m still swooning. Ben is a god.

Everything is insanely wonderful, the venue, the staff & of course the food. This is my third visit & I found the experience to be just as exciting as my first. The space is comfortable & the staff are laid back enough to create a very relaxing atmosphere which I did not expect on my first visit. The food is simple & clean, not fussy or tricky. There are always some unusual ingredients, this time ants, crocodile ribs & emu liver featured. Some may find these off putting but you need to trust the brilliant chefs & surrender as you will not be disappointed.

What can I say that hasn't been said by others. Anyone living in Melbourne needs to eat here at least once. It does not disappoint. The food is amazing and the staff are even better.

Very friendlg atmospherw. We had 14 courses with many Australia inspired dishes such as kangaroo and crocdiles. Dishes were pretty. Had a fun time to swing music in the backyard.

An incredible dining experience. Focuses on the quality of australian ingredients, and impeccable showmanship. Does not use theatre as much as some other high end restaurants I have visited which I actually preferred. But still had a few tricks and surprises up its sleeve which were very impressive! It must be said expensive but you get what you pay for and it was an incredible experience!

Don't bother. Outrageously expensive for little and weird food combinations. An hour into meal sevice almost left to get a burger from Grilled. Non Australian wait staff tried to talk about Australian history of the plates served with many corrections from our educated all Australian table. Waste of a night out!

Had this restaurant on my to do list for quite a while. Very good service and food in a relaxing atmosphere. It wasn't mindblowing but maybe my expectations were a bit too high when going here. Compared to similar restaurants this one is definitely not expensive.
