Such a great place to have dinner, atmosphere was brilliant, food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. They have a really good menu for dietary requirements also. Highly recommended.

This place always puts on a great meal. I had the brisket sliders and the pork belly washed down with a nice nebiolo. I think I dreamt about it that night it was that good! Our waitress had a great personality also. I always love coming back to this place.

An enjoyable experience. The food and service was great but would stood out in particular was the attention to detail with soft lighting, acoustic treatment to minimise noise and the creation of a stylish, cosy, relaxed environment. The bar looks fabulous. Will definitely be back.

Went back for the second time after a couple of years and I was so pleased. Food was absolutely stunning from oysters to dessert. I ended up eating so much. Highly highly recommended:)

Food was great and staff were attentive and helpful with questions we had. The sound dampeners under the tables helped with keeping the noise/ echo down and keep it intimate. Nice touch.

One of my top picks for dinner on the Mornington Peninsula. Cosy but not cramped, impeccable service and an amazing menu. My partner is dairy intolerant but the dairy free menu didn't feel at all like an afterthought. The food was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful, great ambiance to start, nice service and the food was fabulous. Great selections and our entire lunch party were all in agreement the food is top rate. I might add the pistachio with white chocolate mouse was too die for!

I’m not lying when I say that I’m literally obsessed with this place! The staff are so lovely & welcoming! The location is perfect & I love the vegan menu! They cater for practically everyone… I’m so excited to come back with my partner, it’s so beautiful! It’s super affordable too xx

Great service, modern decor and friendly ambiance.

We dined here on a busy saturday night after being unable to secure bookings at nearby 400 Gradi and D. O. C and were glad to have found this spot just off the main strip.

The service was really attentive, welcoming and helpful which was a notch above what we have found in the area in past experiences.

Food-wise we found the nicely concise menu to have a varied number of options, there is a vegan alternative to many of the dishes which we didn't try but noted. The pastas and sourdough starters we had with our platter tasted fresh, well cooked and overall presented great. We found the 2 pastas we had to be slightly salty but that may be a personal preference. The drinks we had were also tasty and there is a large range of cocktails and wine list of course to choose from.

Happy to have visited and can recommend for a quieter, excellent dining experience in the area if you are looking for some simple italian fare.

Excellent food, very much enjoyed the sharing plates, ambience is really nice and the staff are most helpful.

Don’t look anywhere else, just make the reservation and come here for lunch or dinner or both.

Come and do as the wonderful wait staff tell you - share the plates, it’s in the name afterall! They recommend sharing, if that’s not your jam, trot on to the La Porchetta or some other sub par place. Assaggini is an experience - lean into it!

Order the fancy stuff, I’m sure the chips and sliders are probably awesome. But this food is top shelf, so order off the top shelf. Go balls to the wall, live a little.
Don’t play it safe. Get the steak tartare, get the scallops, get the oysters. Do you pair your oysters at home with Prosecco sorbet and salmon roe - no you probably don’t. So order it, savour it.
Also get the Tortelloni - it’s absolutely perfect.
Don’t skip dessert - the chocolate mousse was the best we’ve ever had.

If you can’t tell - we will be back. We had a truly excellent time. The staff were fantastic and attentive. There wasn’t a single flaw - even the bill was perfectly justified.

Great Italian restaurant tucked away in Mornington. We had two vegetarian guests which was no issue at all! They have a vegan menu and ready vegetarian options in their normal menu. Fantastic dinner spot. Great service also.

The menu offered a vegan feed me menu which was delicious. The vegan cheeses were wonderfully chosen. Our waitress Kristin was exceptionally trained, friendly and promoted the menu beautifully!

Above amazing customer service. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We only went for wine and coffee, but will definitely return for dinner. Great atmosphere and an enjoyable experience.

Enjoyable dinner here on Saturday night. Managed to get a same-day booking online.
Menu featured a good variety of dishes of varying sizes for sharing or individual consumption. LOVE that they had a separate vegan menu. Drinks list extensive, including some great looking cocktails.
We shared the arancini & kingfish ceviche, then my partner the barramundi and myself prawn risotto. Mains were fresh, delicious and full of flavour.
We did not indulge in dessert but the options sounded so so good.
Staff here were the perfect amount of attentive - there when you needed them and then left you alone. Only minor gripe was my partners main plate was collected whilst I was still eating - when there are only 2 of you this doesn't look (or feel!) very good.
Really happy to not be seated close to other diners and restaurant wasn't overly busy - not sure if this was due to time of booking or COVID impacts. Either way it was appreciated in these uncertain times.
Would definitely recommend dining here, we will be back!
