Very happy with our photos. We won a $2000 voucher and had some shots taken. While I was suprised that the $2000 would be for one image, I felt like the team were honest about this throughout the process. When selecting our photos I was upfront that I didn't want to feel preassured to buy more photos and the sales rep respected this.

The friendly team were receptive to my requests and I felt really taken care of through the whole experience.

Everyone I spoke to and had contact with was very lovely, the photographer was very good with my boys (2 big dogs) and even got a really good photo with me in it, which I originally was very hesitant about!

Immense thanks to the entire Artist Photographer Team! Our photographer Natalie was outstanding and professional during our session (even with 2 very stimulated and excited dogs who were apart of our Photoshoot). Rebecca was lovely to work with; well induced in her area of expertise and explained the entire process during our viewing sessions seamlessly - We are so excited to receive our forever pieces of artwork. Sincerest thanks, and hats off to Natalie & Rebecca; Management is 100% on the mark with this studio!

I was very nervous about the experience only because of my two fur babies. But the whole thing was so much fun and the pictures were awesome. Thank you Bec for showing us the pictures and spending the time with us. We appreciate everything you did for us.

I had the best experience with photography Shara who was incredibly patient with my energetic border collie and managed to get a really authentic and fun photo of us.
The follow up photo selection process was really easy with Tamara who helped me sort through photos and portrait options.

While we did come away with a lovely picture of our son, we did not get what we wanted out of this experience: a family portrait.
Our daughter was uncomfortable with the experience and no useable shots with her were taken. Children are unpredictable of course, but given that family photography is the speciality of this organisation, more could have been done to ease her into the shoot and it felt like the photographer was not used to talking to young children - at one point, she tried to sway her by saying we'd buy her ice cream afterward, which was completely overstepping. Similarly, we were told "not to feel bad" that our daughter hadn't participated as if it was our fault.
Furthermore, arranging a follow-up meeting to select our few photos was very frustrating. Due to busy schedules, we agreed only one of us would attend but the company insisted that it had to be both of us so we had to delay it significantly and we didn't appreciate the inflexibility of the company, nor their unwillingness to go with our preference. To their credit, when the meeting did happen, the person we spoke to was very friendly and was respectful of our choices.
Picking up the photograph was similarly more complicated than it needed to be. We had to make an appointment to collect it when we did finally find a time, the collection was literally 30 seconds.
Overall, the quality of the photograph we ended up with is very good but it is a shame we weren't able to get the family portrait we wanted. It was a needlessly complicated and not enjoyable experience and we would not choose this service again.

We were one of the lucky winners of a Facebook competition to have a family and pet portrait session. Our photography was very patient with Arlo who was very scared of the flash and camera and yet the photos we viewed are gorgeous and far exceed expectations. We have just had our zoom session to order the portraits with Laura Paris who was absolutely outstanding. We had a difficult time to narrow down the selections but Laura was able to assist with all different options including showing sizes within rooms to assist with how the portrait would fit into our home. She made us feel very comfortable to express our honest opinion on the shots, was able to take out small issues such as a dog tag or hair out of place. Can not wait for the portraits to arrive and would highly recommend artist photographer.

Such a special experience from start to finish. Shara our photographer was really able to capture the essence of our little rescue dog and Rebecca was a delight to deal with and made the photo selection process really fun and I felt fully heard and understood as to my requirements.

My family and I recently worked with Melbourne Artist Photographer, Shara and Art Director, Rebecca, and it was a delight! Shara's photography skills are exceptional and Rebecca's art direction was impressive. We are looking forward to receive the images in the next couple of weeks. We had our first family photo last week, including our fur one, and the whole experience was terrific from the moment we step into the studio until the video-call to choose what photos to be framed. From the photographer to the Artist Director and more, they knew how to translate the personality of our beautiful dog and our feelings as a family. I can’t thank enough for this experience. Definitely, we will be back with the our close family for a whole group session.

We had the most amazing experience at Artist Photographer in South Melbourne. The photographic session was so fun (even with a toddler and baby). They were warm and inviting and had toys for our toddler to play with (he had a great time).
Their communication was flawless with reminders via text and email.

My twins and I had a family shoot done by the talented Natalia. She was so kind, patient and comforting to us. It’s not easy wrangling 2 toddlers but she was so helpful. I highly recommend getting your fur-baby photos done here. I won a competition for a photoshoot, and my sister was able to join me and Stella, with her fur-baby Loki. The entire journey went smoothly and was enjoyable and inspiring, from booking the appointment, to the photography session, and the portrait selection.

The photography session was a hoot, as Stella was so excited and couldn’t sit still for longer than a moment, and Loki was very focused on his ball! Natalia was incredibly amazing and patient with our dogs, and we got some fantastic shots.

It was lovely meeting Rebecca for the Zoom selection process, the entire setup was perfectly organised and easy to follow, as Rebecca took us on a journey with the selection. We chose some amazing photos and I’m ever so pleased with them and everything. I just cannot wait to see the finished photos!

A huge thanks to Natalia and Rebecca at Artist Photographer for being so patient with us and our babies, and for being so accommodating with our Deafness, especially during the Zoom selection meeting.

My family and I had an AMAZING experience with photographer Darren! He was incredibly professional and made us feel SO comfortable during the shoot! We had little children with us too and he was extremely patient and kind. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wanted professional photography done. We recently won a photo shoot of our family including our 2 dogs.
What an amazing experience, all staff are great. Our dog is quite large and they still knew how to handle him.
The photos we received back are the best we have ever gotten and will be admired on our wall at home where everyone can see.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending this lovely studio, we felt welcomed as soon as we got there and everyone was incredibly accomodating and made us feel relaxed, even while we were trying to wrangle 2 dogs and a cat!
