Amart Cambellfield dont deserve any star at all and another unhappy customer I had issue with one of the faulty recliner where there is no power in the recliner and cant use this at all.

I had raised the complaint with customer service solution last month. After explained them the issue, I got couple of solutions, either to get $200 instore credit to keep ASIS (ARE YOU SERIOUS? , I think that credit thing should not given as I had spent $5,500 for the lounge and giving this much credit is an insult to the customer for the inconvenience) or exchange. I went for the exchange option. I had received the email from customer solutions for agreeing the exchange of couch with no ETA or reason.
I went to Amart Campbellfield store today, 26 Apr 2020. Spoke with two ignorant, rude manager’s names are Amy and Dave on Duty around Mid day. Spoke to them about the replacement and issue. Initially in customer service solutions, they had arrangement to replace the whole couch but instore managers had changed to faulty recliner to be replaced without my consent and asked no questions. They both keep saying to bring the couches in the store and then we can return those ones because of Covid-19 (I couldn’t find that policy on the Amart website and I guess they are making their own policies). Asked them to show the policy which they couldn’t able to answer and keep saying “whatever” to my concerns. First of all I don’t have any transport/ manpower to move the items by myself. I had asked them what if I arrange some transport company to bring the items to store and Amart pay them. They decline and said I need to bear all the charges. I don’t know how much I need to pay for moving items and take new items from there and why should I need to pay or arrange the replacements, as Amart sent me the faulty product and its under warranty so it is Amart responsibility not me to arrange things up. They both are so unhelpful, non-cooperative, with those reasons as I don’t believe that Amart have these types of ruthless managers, I had asked Dave to sent me email that what we had discussed, he declined initially and said he can’t/ don’t have to send any emails to customers. After a long discussion, he was agreed to send the email with what was discussed.

They both are so pointless about customer service and keep saying the words like “Whatever”, “I don’t care”, “I don’t give a shit”, “It’s not my problem” etc. As managers, they are representing the image of Amart and this is very bad impressions on the customers. I had told to Dave that I’ll complain about him to head office and will mention to consumer affairs and his answered to me was ‘I don’t give a damn ‘. I was very stunned and feel humiliated that Amart have these kinds of managers who don’t know the meaning of customer service. Amart, i think its good to revise your company customer service policies and trying to spent some money to teach your managers and staff.

Staff can’t decide whether they can hold my order for one month or one day. I was told I could get all my items delivered at once and then suddenly I’m getting calls saying they could only be hold
For 7 days? ! Make up your mind

Staff just looked at us 45 min in store before someone asked if we wanted help and we were only customers there staff to busy chatting needless to say i did not buy from there they appeared not to want my money plus when staff finally asked if we wanted help they did not know much about what they were selling

Waited 1 month to received the product, they send faulty product twice when I asked them to deliver as soon as possible as I already waited to long the guy over phone was so rude, not ready to listening, terrible experienced

Bought 2 Electric recliners for just under $2000 only 8 months ago.
I bought these for my elderly parents on the basis that they are 100% leather and the 10 year warranty, well guess what, since when does 100% leather peel.

I made a claim and the so called Leather doctor came out and agreed that they need to be fixed and said Amart will contact me.
Once again no phone call i had to call.

The so called manager i spoke to was rude and denied the claim and said it was due to oils from skin that caused it but a store manager will call within 24 hours, well a week later I'm still waiting hence why i am writing this.

The chairs are virtually new, my parents were overseas when i bought these for them so they have only been sat in for a total of 20 to 30 hours in all that time.

100% leather is animal Hyde and does not peel, all their advertising and claims are false and misleading.

I will be taking this further and exercising my Australian consumer law rights and suggested other unhappy customers fo so.

Sales staff are friendly. They are great. The manager of the store is quite opposite, he is very rude. The way he speaks to customers is very offensive and unprofessional.

We went to Campbellfield A Mart to buy some furniture. As there was no one around to help us we took photos of what we chose and went to the counter to order them. There were 5 staff members at the counter but no one really wanted to assist us. One lady told us to wait for few minutes until the lady next to her finished what she was doing. So we were waiting but then this lady was chatting with other colleagues without even bothering to talk to us. The customer care was hopeless and we left the store to go to another to buy what we wanted. This type of customer care is unacceptable and so disappointing.

Very bad quality furniture, couch lasted one week then the cushion went flat, and the stitching tore, they did not replace or refund, they are an absolute joke, stay away, spend a few dollars extra and go somewhere with class.

Great friendly service from all floor staff. Warehouse staff went the extra mile and came out after hours to bring our lounge suite upstairs after the 3rd party logistics company wouldn't. Highly recommend.

Great selection - I wish it wasn't mostly flat pack. I was disappointed that a clearance items I ordered a week after clearance advertising jumped up $70 extra when I ordered ut:/ I thought they could honor it seems I was spending over $1k in total.

Krystal is so RUDE. Not ready to listen you even. We bought 5-6 items from them but when we called for a small support we heard harsh iresponsive words from them. On asking name we come to know "Krystal". Believe me people don't ever go at this campbellfield store.

Hi guys do not buy from amart,
they sold me a white sofa with 10 years guaranty and i payed$ 2500 plus $200 for smart care after one year? ! Check the pictures and these fult just comes up' we didn't do anything plus if you wear a red clothes and sit on it sofa become red, this is for most of the clothes after all these Amart not accepting as guaranty so im going to take them court.

Fake promise and making excuses regarding delivery and selling products which they don’t have in stock by promising it will be delivered next week and when I called them regarding our delivery and mentioned I have to wait for 5 weeks. Very very disappointed

First time customer. Went to order a mattress online. Item showed meaurements but not weight. Wanted to pick up same day. Couldn't tell which store had stock and which didn't (it just showed 'warehouse' had stock). Phoned one of the stores who promptly told me which stores had my item. Drove to the nearest store. Collected item without much fuss. Overall a good experience with decent customer service. Website friendliness needs improving. Would buy from them again.

Lots of great furniture to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful but not pushy, allowing you to look and choose what you want without any pressure. Would highly recommend.
