AGG Doors

AGG turned up as promised to fit a new electrics box for my swing gates. They did the job professionally and it's been all good since. Very happy with the service.

Frank was absolutely professional, exceptional and wonderful. The whole service from my initial call was just seamless and perfect. I highly recommend this company and Frank. He took the time to explain everything.

Our garage door had a dent in it but otherwise was in PERFECT working order so we had AGG Doors come out to change the door only. Since this was done our door has been extremely loud (banging noises) and doesn't open properly (often taking several minutes while it goes up and down a few inches until it finally opens). After ignoring us for a while someone was finally sent back to "fix" it and yet it is still exactly the same! They are blaming our motor which is apparently "not a very good one" and denying the correlation between their attendance and the sudden change in operation of our garage door. AGG Doors' definition of "completed work" is clearly different to mine as I do not believe this would constitute "completion" as the door has not been returned to the condition it was in before their attendance. 0/10 do not recommend.

Update: Thanks to the owner for coming to rectify the issue, I wish it hadn't taken so long for someone to accept that there was an issue. As we found, our motor WAS perfectly fine, and is still in operation. Now that it has been programmed to the new door that was installed by AGG all above issues have been rectified. The first installer did not program the motor to the correct weight of the new door which was causing the issues and did not recognise that was causing the issue when he returned to inspect it. After i wrote my initial review, the owner attended and it did not take long for him to find the problem which he fixed quickly. The owner was very easy to deal with and very knowledgable. Happy to say our garage door now opens (quietly) once again.

Quick to come out for quote.but however after that there was no communication. I had called for two weeks straight to get in contact with the supervisor who quoted the job and ask questions.
After leaving dozens of messages with the recipients Courtney who promised I would get a call back I was left disappointed and frustrated.

We have been in a unique position to use AGG Doors on multiple occassions and their service has been nothing short of excellent. Their technical knowledge and prompt responses have helped us resolve some extremely tricky situations - problems that often arise from cheap equipment, poor installation methods or simply bad driving.

Car park doors can be complicated and a lot goes into their effective operation - component compatability, weight distribution, geometry, location, etc. We have pretty much seen them all but AGG have repeatedly proven themselves over the years to be one of the most reliable and experienced service providers in Melbourne.

Telephonist was friendly and very helpful. Emails informative. Technician arrived during the agreed hours and was efficient and friendly. Cost reasonable. Problem with the system solved quickly and well. Thank you.

Phone answered promptly and politely. Problemidentified and proper person contacted to tell me what needed to be done. Technician sent to fix the door that evening so I could extract my car. Person who attended was efficient, polite and knowledgeable.

Just as our previous experience we were more than satisfied with the entire service. Initial phone call made by us and the positive response was pleasing. Also that our records were readily available. Notifying us of approximate arrival time and subsequent change to this was beneficial, as was the call from the technician to say he was just 20 minutes away. Much appreciated. The service was carried out efficiently by Tom and useful information re looking after the garage door and answering any of our questions etc was most helpful. Emailing of invoice was prompt also. To sum up: Very happy with the service thankyou. System is functioning as it should.

Professional and efficient right from the receptionist who took the call, helped me detail the issue and booked in the job to the technician who arrived 24 hours later following a call indicating he was on his way. The job was fully explained and detailed on the inspection report. Very happy to recommend to friends and neighbours.

I am very pleased with the service I received both from my telephone call and the worker who came out and solved my problem. My phone call resulted in the technician being here within a couple of hours and he gained access to my garage and diagnosed the problem quickly. He made alterations to allow me to continue to use my garage and made arrangements for the problem to be rectified permanently. Called AGG re major problem with my very old Firmadoor. AGG were very helpful and promised to send a technician the following day around 1000 or 1100. The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem rapidly, installed a new motor and ensured, after some adjustment, that the door operated correctly. Hence, we were completely satisfied with the service provided and would have no problem in recommending or using AGG again in the future if needed.

Great service. From the first phone call to the job completed. Arthur was very helpful on the phone and followed up with me quickly for a quote after reviewing some photos I sent for the job. The longest wait was the order of parts from factory. But once it was delivered, they get the job done within the same week. The job was completed quickly without any mess left. Overall, very impressed with service and highly recommended.
