A Treat of France (Southbank) reviews
65This place has incredible pastries. Croissants and custard donuts are so delicious! We came every day on our holiday
Great coffee! Great selection of food too, but don’t come here if you are in a rush. Service is slow, but always welcome you with a smile when you walk in the door
Horrible experience. Used to be clean. Young man there was quick as making hot chocolate. It was disgusting the flies around. I addressed this to the young man and that it was not good for his business and the reputation.
They were everywhere. He just said: I know. I know. And did not do anything about it. There were two other women chatting there (owners?). They did nothing what flies stuck their legs in the sticky pastries on display. Yuck. I had already paid for cuppa but threw it in the bin when I exited. Cannot bear to get sick.
Came here for the almond croissant which was fantastic. I ordered mocha to have the croissant with. The mocha was a let down.it was too sweet, I think they used chocolate fudge with it which tasted disgusting. I couldn't go further than a sip.
A young man who takes his coffees very seriously!
As I sat down sipping on a Soy dirty Chai Latte, I felt a little bit unsatisfied given I'd had a delicous one from the same place the previous morning.
Sensing a slight hint of dissatifaction, the young man approached me and demanded me to surrender my chai so that he would make me another one.and it was PERFECT!
