A Treat of France (Southbank) reviews
65Best Chai latte in town! Also their Chicken Delight baguette, Tiramisu and Almond Croissant are a must try.
If I was grabbing a coffee around here, I would definitely pick here over all other surrounding cafes.staff seem friendly and the sandwiches/toasties look awesome (checkout my pix)! Make sure you check them out
Fantastic fresh food, Amazing genuine Service. Could not rate this place it is so good, it is clean tidy and a friendly atmosphere.
Lovely place to settle in for a hot or cold drink with delicious choices of treats.
You can't go wrong dropping in here, or their other sites in North Melbourne & North Carlton.
Rose, Ray, Semira and their teams are super friendly and their baked foods are scrumptious
Coffee and the food was good. HOWEVER, the staff were not welcoming at all! Wrong person hired for the wrong place! Felt like I owed you guys something! C’mon guys, no harm in serving with a smile on your face!
Lovely cafe that’s affordable and yummy. Love how everything is made in house. Lamb sausage roll was huge and only $5.50, blueberry custard brioche was delicious.
I expected more from a cafe with this name. Standard fare and no panache. Food was nice and coffee was good in any case.
As I entered the Cafe, the staff member was holding a broom with his bare hands then he put it aside took our order and continued cleaning after, and then he served another customer without washing his hands, served coffee & dessert without gloves, and I easily noticed that his hands were not clean.
The cafe didn't smell like any treat of france!
Two stars only for the sandwich.
Still open for takeaway! I probably should of taken a photo before the very last bite but it was just too good. Lemon meringue was just the right amount of sour topped with a pillowy soft merginue. Simply magic! Keep up the great works guys, cake is keeping me in good spirits!
I just simply loved the mixed tray of cakes you have. Everything was good. I need to go run tomorrow now ciao.
Lovely little shop good food an at a good price friendly staff a good selection of food the meatball was my favorite
Hit or Miss! I had the waffles with Bananas two days in a row. The first day it was one of the all-time best waffle dishes I’d ever had. The waffles were warm and fresh, and the bananas were grilled and delicious. The second day, the waffles were stale luke warm, and the bananas were cold and just sliced up, not cooked. They seemed to be more rushed the second day, but with more staff there too. At any rate, their standards need to be watched a little more carefully.
Good cafe in south melbourne. Better to have more cakes. This is the only place selling cakes around this place. Sometimes they only have one or two cakes for birthdays.
Good coffee. Cheesecake was creamy and not overly sweet, yum~ Casual setting, ideal for afternoon break. Will come again to try their pastries.
We were visiting from the United States. This was by far the best coffee we have ever had. The pastries were delicious as well. This will be our first stop when we visit again.
Poor coffee.
There are no professional barista after lunch time.
He only work for short hour.after part time girl make coffee disgusting.waste of money. Woolworths coffee much better than her make.
I live front of the cafe.no more visit afternoon.
Delicious coffee and food at a really fair price. A little slow on the service but overall a great experience
A cute little coffee shop I just happened upon. Their cakes looked absolutely delicious and their baguettes looked full and good value for money - they were big with plenty of filling for only $8.90. I must admit, I only had a coffee coz I already had breakfast but definitely gonna try their food next time. Coffee was great though! And service was quick. Note: I took the coffee home and had it on my balcony but the cafe was quite homely so I recommend sitting inside for a little tranquility.
Really nice little café. They don't have any vegan options in the display, but if you ask they'll do up a really nice one for you: D
