Driver offered to take me for a drive to the shops from Melbourne airport but only if paid in cash and at a set price of $30 for a 1.5km drive. Very unprofessional and trying to take advantage when the opportunity presents.

Experience with 13cabs is why I'll never catch a cab again and stick to uber and the like. Left my phone in the cab, cab driver is using it and the head office "lost and found" service is uninterested

They wonder why customer's prefer Uber and rideshare. Because they actually show up and are not rude to their customers.
It's that hard to figure out.

I recommend not book 13 cabs at all, i have had bad experiences with them, the drivers in geelong not accepting short trips through WS, the drivers are not on time. They need to hire more drivers.
Missed my dr appointment couple times. Very bad service. Wish to give 0 star
Not happy with 13 cabs Geelong area.

Don't use these people. I get charged for a cab that never came over a month ago, I've sent a couple e-mails, called up 4 times and been hung up on every time. Absolute disgrace

This is my first ever review, and I am so happy to sit here and write it. As stated below, you can book a cab all you like, but if the drivers don’t want to pick you up then they don’t.we waited 1.5 hours after booking a cab 3 days in advance. After numerous phone calls to 13 cabs, they finally told us that no driver will take the dispatch. This is something that should have been explained when I booked, not 1.5 hours late on the day, and not even a phone call to say that was the case. I agree with everyone else here. The drivers are disgusting and offer no service at all. I felt sorry for you all when Uber was introduced, but no more. You deserve everything get, and I do hope you all lose out on your licences. Uber all the way next time for me. Cabs are not what they use to be.
Drivers are a disgrace, don’t waste your time if you need to be somewhere.
13 Cabs DON’T GET YOU ANYWHERE

Below is a message I sent to 13Cabs (not the first one) 2 weeks ago, to date I have received absolutely no response back from them. If I could give 13Cabs a negative star rating I definitely would! I have now deleted the 13Cabs app from my phone and if I could actually cancel my account I would. Think I would prefer to walk or drive than catch a 13Cabs taxi again. I do have to say though, there was no issue with the cab driver just the business he works for!

"I had pre-booked a maxi cab (booking ref 1790xxxxx) to pick us up from a wedding reception in Plumpton (Vic). When I checked the app during the night I found the booking had been cancelled AND NOBODY HAD BOTHERED TO ADVISE ME OF THIS!

So, I booked another maxi cab on the app and called a little while later to confirm there were no problems with this booking. I was told there was no issue with the booking (booking ref 1791xxxxx) and yet 14 minutes later I received a phone call saying we could not be supplied a maxi taxi. The man that called me seemed none to fazed about the issue and could only suggest that I book a 6 seater & a 4 seater (again on the app) to try to get home. He did not bother to even try to assist with another booking.

The location of the reception is not near any other transport so you can imagine how angry (using a polite word here) I was about the entire situation. If I had not checked the app, there would have been 10 of us waiting for a maxi cab that was never going to arrive!

I then called 13CABS and booked a 6 seater and a 4 seater (as advised to by the person who called me at 10.49pm). These cabs "miraculously" arrived but imagine my surprise when we got a 4 seater and a 10 seater (let's remember I was advised previously a 10 seater could not be provided). I was absolutely livid and had I had the inclination to contact you at the time I can tell you that someone would have received a tirade of angry words.

So, in all we paid over $ 200 to get 10 of us to Craigieburn when it should have only cost me just over $100 which is what was quoted as confirmed pricing at the time of both the previous bookings which had both been cancelled. This is absolutely ludicrous! Any wonder people use Uber instead of 13CABS, unfortunately UBER do not have 10 seaters so I couldn't use them however I have since found out that Silver Top Taxi have maxi cabs so my preference going forward will be to use them instead. I am sure their service will not be as woeful as that of 13CABS.

Your service as a business is disgusting. Ripping off honest, hard working people by charging them twice as much as should have been charged because of your lack of care and cancelling bookings without telling the person that booked.

My nephew had also booked a maxi cab to go home from the same reception. It wasn't until I notified his family that our bookings had been cancelled (twice) that he checked his booking and, lo & behold, his booking had also been cancelled.

Absolutely disgraceful effort on the part of 13CABS, especially when you take the bookings in the first place. If you cannot supply the cab you shouldn't take the booking.

I can tell you that you have lost me and a significant number of other patrons because of your disgraceful effort in bookings and lack of care for your customers. Word of mouth can go far and you can be sure I will be spreading the word.

I doubt I will hear anything from you regarding this particular complaint because I have still NOT received a response to my initial query re cancellation on 18 Dec @ 9.41pm (surprise, surprise) considering it is now 22 Dec.

I guess it is just another example of the 13CABS "we don't care about our customers" attitude. "

My cab didn’t come on time and I lost my deposit for the bar I booked, the worst part was having to listen to the ‘1300 cabs get you there’ song as I desperately tried to call on my birthday.

15/10/2020 Taxi 0597PS - Got a taxi from Clayton Monash Private to Nissan Ferntree Gully, the driver was very polite, we had a little chat on the way and pleasant journey.

I paid 45 dollars for a 15 min drive for the driver to take personal calls about this side business it is not very professional putting it on speaker complained 1300 cabs and the 1300 took the driver side saying a courier driver can take calls which a driver isn't a courier driver

A driver shared his experience with administration, he has conversation recording as proof. Honestly not believing it does happen in 21st century Australia. My sympathies with drivers. We blame drivers only, not knowing the way they are dealt.

Car did not turn up, had to call back 4 times and the woman was rude and dismissive, resorted to Uber and the service was prompt and polite, avoid this company

We were advised by your customer service that a report of dangerous driving by one of your accredited drivers can only be reported to police. Is this the case? Is there no other way of disciplining the driver of vehicle registration M580 (maxi taxi) for darting out in front of incoming traffic and cutting off fellow vehicles with dangerous lane changes on Dandenong Road in East Malvern at 9: 30pm tonight?

Suggest 13 Cabs get their app to work as expected with credit card payments via the app! Not sure why MOST times when I have set up credit card payment option via the app, the cabbie just doesn't seem to have it on his records / system. I book cabs for my family which often does not carry cash or cards and it's very inconvenient when the cabbie demands payment direct. Very poor service and faulty app.

I’ve been using Uber for years but in these time thought I’d support our cabbies. I booked a cab the night before for 6am next morning to the airport. Unfortunately 6am can and went. After two phone calls eventually the cab turned up at 6: 20! No apology from the driver. Then he proceeded to speed to the airport as he knew he was late. Never again! I am going back to Uber! No wonder the taxi industry is suffering.
