13 scammers. Driver turned a 23 minute route to destination into a 45 minute diversion from the highway (which went almost directly to our destination) to go through crowded surface streets and dozens of stoplights all while going significantly below the speed limit, hoping to catch as many lights as possible. And.added a nice surcharge for the experience. It's amazing that they still have a license.

Booked hours in advance, multiple drivers picked up the booking then cancelled. Eventually got a driver an hour late and the driver gave up half way getting to the pick up destination and cancelled anyways. No wonder the business is dying to uber and other ride share service's.

We told a 13 cabs taxi from Sydney domestic airport to Citadines hotel.only 1.4 km and less than 10 minutes of ride, the driver charged me $48 and told me there is a $25 dollar of surcharge from Sydney airport. The hotel staff said it should not have costed me anything more than $20. I contacted the customer service and they just simply didn’t respond. Will never ride with 13 cabs again.

I was almost ripped off by 13cabs in Dandenong. I booked a cab via the app on Friday the 16th of June. It never showed up, so I booked another cab via the app. This one, too, never showed up. So I booked one last one via the app. This one showed up. When I checked my bank account online via the app.
All 3 drivers tried charging me for a fare that only 1 cab did.

I had to fight this with the help of my bank. Luckilly I saved documents, took screenshots etc.

Also there have been times when they have over charged me.

I would never ever use 13cabs ever again. I implore people avoid 13cabs at all costs

Absolutely terrible experience with this company, left stranded at the top of Dandenong Ranges, on the side of the road, in the cold and dark after an anniversary dinner at SkyHigh. Called a cab when the restaurant closed. Received a call from the driver saying he will be 26 minutes and he requested we didn’t leave as he was coming there just for us…. 1 hour later, again in the freezing cold and dark he still wasn’t there and you can’t call anyone at the cab company. If it wasn’t for a staff member from SkyHigh offering us a lift when he left the property I’m sure we would still be there waiting. A very poor effort from this cab company.

Reported a driver to the company about an illegal incident while in uniform and branding on the vehicle.

Terrible response since I know there response on safety I will be avoiding using this company.

Tried to schedule a cab in advance to go to the airport. Via the app, I could not book one without using the locked-in price. I did it twice and got 2 different locked-in prices. Then tried online and it wouldn't give me an SUV option. Ended up calling customer service who tried to convince me to get a Maxi because I've got 3 large luggages. The worst thing was they couldn't guarantee pick-up time at 2.30 am because apparently, the system will only look into booking a cab 10 mins prior to pick-up time and if there is no cab around the area at that time, the system would have to call in a cab from further away, which would cause a delay. This completely defeats the purpose of scheduling a cab in advance.

I now am using a private limo service, that will organise an SUV that fits my luggage needs and they can guarantee a punctual pick-up. The best thing is it's $20 cheaper than the estimated price for a Maxi from 13Cabs. C'mon guys, you can do better than that.

I've had mixed experiences with 13 Cabs. My Mum and I use their wheelchair taxis. My Mum has dementia and is severely frail and physically disabled. I do my absolute best to have Mum ready on time for booked taxi appointments but due to her medical complexity she is an extremely difficult person to rush. I always try to allow plenty of time to get her ready but it seems no matter how much time I allow she always needs more. Her needs are extremely high. Anyway I've been using the same driver for 3 years now. The drivers he sends (he often doesn't come himself but sends another driver) are getting increasingly worse. The driver today was hanging off the bell before the booking time - he just kept ringing and ringing our doorbell before the booking time. My Mum (due to her dementia) was trying to get out of her wheelchair, and without using any aids, was trying to get to the door to answer it for the driver. I was in the bathroom because it wasn't the booking time yet. I rushed over to Mum and only just stopped her from falling. She has a hole in her brain so one fall could be the end of her. Needless to say I was not happy. When I raised these concerns to my main driver about the drivers always rushing and always squeezing bookings extremely close together (presumably to make maximum bank) I was told that nothing would change. So I got another driver today who promised he would text when he is near and not repeatedly ring the doorbell prior to the booking time. Hopefully it works out.

I booked a trip online and add a Credit card for payment. When the trip ended, the driver asked me to pay because he didn’t see it has been paid. I thought my credit card has issue so I paid him. 5’ later, I got a call from 13 Cabs said they double charged me. I should contact customer service for a refund. I couldn’t get through to customer service after 3 long waiting calls.
I spoke to a staff, she asked me to send them receipts of both payments, she said they will process in next 3 weeks but haven’t recieved a refund for 3 months. I sent them number of emails, never got reply. Called again, a staff told me she will escalate it and they will process it. Still no refund. What’s a service? I can’t believe there is such a disgusting service in Australia. Uber is way better, clean, new car. Good customer service.

Have used blackcabs oakleigh 4 times recently for medical visits.on all occasions the cabs were on time, clean and safely driven by friendly drivers. English was not their first language but all was fine.very happy with alternative transport. Les.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a taxi almost a week in advance. When it was late the morning of the booking I called only to be told no taxis available and no ETA. Poor form.

AVOID!
Large travelling group so prebooked maxi cab via app the day before.

Driver calls at prebooked time and checks if we really wanted a maxi cab? And whether a smaller car is sufficient.

If I wanted to hire a bike and ride to the airport, I would have done so. Seems 13CABS have taken the customer out of pre-booking.

Driver then asked I cancel the booking and go make another booking.

With suboptimal experiences like this, I can see why the taxi industry is sinking, fast!

Don't Bother, I thought Id do the right thing and give 13Cabs a go rather than Uber. Booked a day in Advance for a Maxivan, they called 10 mins before we were due to be picked up and said we dont have many vans. Then at the time of pickup the Driver called and says he was just given the job but he was 20 mins away. Then called AGAIN AND TOLD ME TO CANCEL THE JOB.
We called 2 Maxi Ubers. 5 mins wait

Why Prebook online? Appalling Service will not use again!

Had a cab pre booked for 430 to get me to the 5am airport shuttle. Ended up having to book an Uber and nearly missed the bus. The text that they were 'arriving soon' came through at 455. Don't recommend, just book an Uber

Would never advise using. Booked a maxi taxi day before to the airport (only reason because we had so many bags) Also chose fixed price option. First driver calls up and says he cant do it for that price. Second driver calls up and acts like he is from the call centre and says he cant be there for a while even though the call centre said it was 5 minutes away. Says i need to cancel and rebook. Ended up cancelling and getting uber. Call centre staff were good, however appears they have no control over driver. Have not caught a taxi in years as normally use uber. Will not use again.
