Got a cab home Saturday night. Usually don’t get cabs because of this stuff - The driver was making inappropriate comments about my wife then when we got around the corner from home, the driver magically added $25 to the fee (the total was at $25, he then doubled it somehow) was then quiet aggressive when we refused to pay the surcharge. Man tried to claim we were in a Maxicab when we were in a passenger vehicle. Get wrecked m8

Driver was weird and told me my name was written down as 'lousy' instead of my name. He seemed to want me to be upset and seemed disappointed when I wasnt. He also told me the address listed for travel was in Tasmania when I was travelling in Melbourne. He was trying to be creepy. He almost hit another car. His conversation making was innapropriate as if he wanted me to be uncomfortable.

Taxi M6381 at about 3.10pm 30/07/21 was driving like his intoxicated. I was parked on curzon steet and he nearly side swipped me, and he was all over the road. Rang 13cabs and they where not interested so i reported him to both police and taxi directoret. So i would never use 13cabs ever and suggest everyone to stay away.

Two cabs that where in the crown Casio line refused to put the meter on and take my wife and here friends, demanding $50 cash to go a short distance. Extremely unprofessional and illegal.

Never again, got my details wrong at call centre, then taxi driver proceed to lecture me on giving him the wrong address. After I corrected him and told him the call centre person got it wrong, not me and asked him to stop, he continues to lecture me. Had to jump out of the cab 2 mins down the street.

Just called your service line, a lady called Tash answered. I was about to book a cab from Mildura to the airport, when I asked can you tell me the estimate fair. She said I can't give you a figure, you'll need to check online and call us back, and she hung up on me. No thank you, no bye, nothing.

That's pretty poorly service and rude behaviour.

Harsimran Singh

Driver ID 530161

- is a great conversationalist and loves HIS taxi that he worked hard for in order to pay for HIS taxi licence. Honestly, can't express enough how much people take other people's love of service for granted.

Harsimran bought a $60K vehicle to pay for a $100K taxi licence- in order to take good people like you and me to places we couldn't walk to if we tried. Commendable really - especially given this Aussie PAYS TAXES IN AUSTRALIA.erm anyways.

His car man.oh man, it's a long wheel base sedan - 3 screens, best audio my lacklustre butt has experienced in a sedan, smooth ride, good man, great conversation and he' s an 80's baby too - which can only mean greatness surely!

It took around 45 minutes to get to Chelsea from where I was picked up from, I paid the fare 10 minutes out and had my friend pick me up from a convenient location - that just happened to be the train station. My mate was baffled as to why I'd willingly pay $100 for a taxi and I explained that He was the reason why I was actually saving $100 and then told him to not question too hard - I don't care - I knew of which I entered into and arrived pleased with my decision. I arrive pleased with most of my decisions, especially of late to be honest - which is why - I post this massive word count filled with extraneous information for your review wandering eyes. Because I can, because I want to but mostly because I've had about eight beers and was just musing about how good taxis are when you need to get some place and you're far too drunk to drive your own pride and joy.

Cheers.

The ride share services aren't good for people in the same way Facebook is bad for us all in some way, shape or form. Same for any social media platform, including this one.

I was a cab driver in Geelong for 2 years, work for one company for 12mths then 8 different owners on the weekends at the other, they're both now part of the the 13cabs network and after what the former Liberal/National Coalition did to the industry, asset value as well as the intangible assets called "good will" and "service ethic" that formed between 25%-50% and in some cases 75% of the accrued value, experience, road knowledge, area, Metro and corridor knowledge that movement around the greater Metropolitan area, over time, brings, as a point about non-creative, unreportable, intangible asset value accrual that takes time, not a flash car witha pretty driver who uses the sat nav only and doesn't ask if you have a preferred route! Standard Operational Procedure for cabbies, not an incentivised give away, profit draining promotional stunt.

I grew up in Geelong and within 6 months I knew most of my customers by name: there were so many regular jobs going through the system for 1 car per 25k people, unlike Melbourne's 1 per 10k; we didn't get time to think too much about whether we'd get another job soon, you had it within 3 to 45 seconds of turning your metre off and registering on the local beacon (old tech that preceded GPS and LGE/IoT.

I'll trust a professional driver such as a cabbie, truck or bus driver and their decisions before any other garden-variety, licensed driver on any road, anywhere, in any conditions you care to name.

This is literally the worst taxi service there is. Don't get fooled by their popularity. Their customer service is terrible.

Poor service. Left for an hour and no one picked us up. Called twice and second time operator would not pick up. Frauds. Avoid and use Uber. (Which I couldn't as my phone went flat calling up).

Cab arrived on-time but ended up paying +$17 more than the already expensive estimated fare. $80 from St Kilda to Tullamarine airport. RIPOFF

Tell your drivers to display photo card. I have used taxi today and I couldn’t see the ID so I took the photo, I will send the photo on Instagram

We just had the best experience.
At 11pm on Christmas evening, we tried ordering FIVE Ubers, but each one refused to take our dog with them. Finally, we flagged down a Taxi on the street and the guys said “no worries, just pop a towel down and sit him in the back, it’s no problem”. He was an absolute gentleman - I’ve deleted the Uber app and will be ordering taxis from the point onwards.
Merry Christmas 13Cabs!

I called the listed phone number to enquire about the fare to the airport with an enroute pickup. The agent who attended was unable to provide this basic information and kept referring me to their website, even when I told her that the website did not have the option for an enroute pickup. Very unhelpful, particularly when both, Silvertop and Maxi Taxi were able to offer precise fare information. Very poor experience, which perhaps explains the poor rating 13cabs has.

I was very disappointed as I was trying to get home and the driver over charged me! Do not give them cash

No wonder why no one uses taxis anymore. They are so rude. I’m definitely sticking to Uber. Driver just told me off because he had to drive 22 km to come pick me up.
