Waffle On Cafe

Friendly staff, good menu that has sweet and savoury waffles. Food and coffee were delicious. Highly recommend!

Waffles were amazeballs. We had the Jesse's Chicken and Bacon, the traditional and a Lemon Meringue and they were all delicious. The chicken on its own was so perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside with just the right amount of seasoning and oh so juicy on the inside.

Separately but no less importantly, the coffee was the best I've had in ages: smooth beans perfectly extracted, soft milk texture (cappuccino) and just the right temperature.

This place is amazing. Best waffles ever. It's Heaven. I had the Apple and Rhubarb crumble. Caitlin had the vegan, gluten free lemon meringue with Coconut sorbet. We loved it!

Unpretentious, good service, great coffee and well located. This place must be heaven if you have a sweet tooth. Good effort.

Amazing range of sweet and savoury waffles (lemon meringue was so good!), heaps of gluten-free options for both coeliac and gluten intolerance. Also love that you can book online. Will definitely be back!

Waffles were unevenly cooked, 1 end tasting like cardboard the other like dough. For a waffle place the waffles were terrible. Coffee I've had previously here wasn't great and was far too hot

Oooh boy! I know my waffles are at least I thought I did. Heavens to BETSY the lemon meringue waffles (with an extra waffle) was literally to die for! Coffee was solid, silky and the correct proportion of foam. Service was fast and the cafe was clean and presentable. We ordered maple syrup on the side (didn’t need it. I ended up tipping the maple into my coffee)

My wife and I will be back and eager to try some more of the menu options.

Had a mix of savoury and sweet options between us, all of them were absolutely fantastic. Getting little doughnut bites with the coffee was also a nice touch

Very yummy creative waffles with anything. They replace the toast with waffles. This morning had Lemon meringue waffles and my partner had eggs Benedict on waffles.
Highly recommend.
Books essential as it is small and fills up quickly.

This place has very nice staff who weren't afraid to joke around with us in between offering us the menu and drinks etc.
The location is right on one of the main streets of Hobart and it is near many notable sites (with parking right around the corner, which is practically free).
The pricing is a little bit on the higher side, and for the portions you get it's not the best value for money.
Regardless this place gets a good recommendation, you'll get a good feed, fun staff, but just not at the best prices in Hobart

Nice little cafe in the Hobart CBD. There is often a crowd which is a good sign. The waffles were great, as was the coffee. Would recommend.

Loved the food. I had a BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) on a waffle that was crispy on the outside and soft and light inside. It looked and was great.

The lemon meringue waffle is absolutely to die for. Coffee was wonderful, and the staff are lovely. A wonderful place for breakfast or lunch.
