Village Family Motor Inn

Sadly this reputable business has changed owners and is no longer at the standards I would consider appropriate for a hotel, the rooms need many repairs, I'm not sure if they have housekeeping staff as the floors were not vacuumed and the beds are folded halfway down the bed in the most odd attempt to make a bed I have ever seen. Another unacceptable problem is there wasn't enough PowerPoint's for the electric blankets that were on the beds. Rendering them pointless. I have been coming here since 2008 and have never had a problem or complaint but since the new management I am appalled especially when a good AUSTRALIAN couple built the reputation over years of hard work.

The food here is soooooo nice! The best lamb shank ever! Guest in motel can enjoy 10% off. The price is reasonable with the food quality.
The room is tidy and warm, but a bit old. Facilities can be updated.

Shocking. Rooms are cold, heating poor. The old heater we had - at least 20 years old - let shorting the electricity in the whole apartment every time we tried to turn it on. Decor has not changed since we were here 20 years ago. No provisions in room for a cup of tea coffee - there was coffee and sugar, no tea bags or long life milk sachets. Toilet/bathroom smelt offensive. The one positive was customer service from front desk on check in, lovely helpful gentleman on.

Very friendly and nice owners. There is also a nice little restaurant with decent priced and great sized meals. Unfortunately we had to pay for an upgrade to move away from some very noisy neighbours, they did offer a slight discount but still had to pay extra. The 2 bedroom 2 story villa was much nicer. If you phone to book they might be able to give a better price but I could an even better deal online.

Fantastic place to stay, Sam at the front counter and he was also our waiter was very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, food was excellent! Especially the strawberry and chocolate pizza. We will be back again in the Christmas holidays

Nice food but the standard of service was a bit poor. I had the waitress put 2 bottles of water in front of me where my plates were supposed to goand our food wasgiven to the wrong people on the table and no apologies.

Great place to stay. Good rooms and restaurant. Food was awesome. Sam and the team made us feel like we were family

Pee smelling toilets unbearable, had to bring heater from bedroom, lounge heater no good, one side electric blanket not work

Horrible stay, the pool was cold, the spa was freezing. The room was cold and when we went out staff came into our room and turned the heater off. Did not get told restaurant would not be open the whole time we where there until we arrived. Would not stay there again.
