It took 1 hour to get food. Even no seasoning in the food. Very blend taste. Pizza oven was not clean. We got black dirt on all fingers. Do not visit here to dine on. Save your time.

No matter which meal of the day or a short break for couple drinks were always fantastic.

We had a very large family and we were quite impressed with the chef and team could put the meals out quick without a drop in quality.staff were a top bunch.we enjoyed our dinner and when we get back down to here again will definitely make it a must stop.

Good pizza and good steak! Kids love it! And good value compared with the location and others! Staff are extremely lovely and friendly!

Very good place after a long walk in the Highlands. Only one small downside, the Internet is below everything. For a photographer it is always important to have a reliable and quality connection.

Great food, great beers on tap and by the bottle. The staff are really nice and forthcoming with information. The food was excellent, filling and really satisfying after a full days hike around Dove Lake. Amazing vegetarian options (there is more than one!). Meals are the most reasonably priced around. We will be back

Pretty good pub food, but the wait times are always so long and you have to queue up for 10 mins even if you want a drink

Lunch so good we went back for dinnner. Friendliest staff. Beautiful fire. Excellent, highly recommend. So many vegan options even the pizzas. A must do is a walk on the boardwalk around Peppers at dusk to see the local wildlife.

Great pastas (both carbonara and marinara) and schnitzel. Reasonable price too, given they are located up in the mountains.

Went here after doing a Cradle Mountain hike. Great location and very easy to get to as near the shuttle stops for the hikes and pizzas after a hike are always a great combination! The food was okay. Dough was a bit on the hard side and unfortunately one of our pizza's crust were burnt. Toppings were reasonable. Would have liked to be able to taste the truffle in the mushroom pizza. All in all an okay stop for a feed. They have a decent range of craft beer on tap though so that was good - we tried their ginger beer on tap (yum!).

Most enjoyable dinner, foods are good, but most of all, a most warm and attentive service by Valerie (V). This German lady is a natural, she's so bubbly and warm, that we all feel homely. She 'flies' around helping many, but still never left us felt neglected! Thanks V.

Great place to stop and have a bite to eat and drink. The manager was really friendly and informative and suggested a few extra places to see. Dont hesitate to drop past this tavern for a lovely meal and cold beverage.

Good ambience, friendly staff and 5 star for alcoholic ginger beer but the tandoori pizza was so bland with too much of yougut drizzle on the pizza. Not worth the money and was disappointed with the food.

Ooh this place has a very welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and service. We ended up eating here three times, twice for dinner and once at lunchtime, and everything was delicious.
Staff are super friendly and attentive.
Great ambience on a chilly day with the log fires spread around the space.

The perfect retreat after a hike or day exposed to the unpredictable Tassie elements! We stopped by the Cradle Mountain Lodge for lunch and enjoyed some coffees, a pizza, and cheesecake for dessert! The fire was cosy and the renovations make the place feel like a whole new venue. It was lovely to see families, couples and travellers alike enjoying the place.

Friendly, fast, comfortable and the best meal I've had this year!
Highly recommend especially when the staff go the extra mile and sing happy birthday. Just Wow.

Accor Group is running this place and this is usually a good sign. Pizzas are really good and the dessert pizza is worth a try. Not disappointed at all by this restaurant.

Nice place to rest upbin front of the fire after spending a day tramping through the various walks at Cradle Mountain. Service is attentivecand friendly. Food and drinks menu will cater for all. Some nice craft beers on tap and go down well with one of their pizza's.

We went on a bad night maybe and they missed our order, but on the second day the pasta was overcooked and the taste was awful.

Fantastic mountaintop pub with a great selection of beers, wines and spirits, and reasonably priced hearty meals. Very much recommended when in the area.
