Great place for the entire family. Close (not too close) encounters with the Devils and the kids got to feed the kangaroos and rosellas

Great place to see many animals up close and personal. We had a great experience interacting with the animals, but not such a great experience interacting with the staff.

Was told directions on our map from the friendly gentleman who sold us our tickets at the front desk. We were instructed to follow the orange path to see the tassie devil feeding.

We later asked a separate member of staff to clarify where this path was and was confronted incredibly rudely. Instead of politely helping us out, she decided to insult us instead. This person even had the nerve to claim the reason we're asking for help with the map was because us young people "use tablets too much". The route she eventually instructed us to go down (red path) ended up being a different route than what was described previously.

Great place to visit for people who love animals but don't care about customer service.

Amazing place with fantastic wildlife. Back to the nature at its best. Up close and personal (literally) to all animals in the unzoo

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking due to Covid, the response from the owners regarding this matter was outstanding and I definitely can't wait to visit in the future.
The missing star is only due to the fact that I haven't been there in person, I'm sure once I visit, I can add that missing star.

Great little zoo, plenty of Tasmanian devils to be seen including feeding and good information. Well worth stopping by.

Love what they are doing at the unzoo - staff described it as a retirement village for devils from the breeding program. Great experience!

Must stop by if heading to Arthur's Point way. Admission is $39 for adults but worth every cent. Only need 1-1.5hrs here and you get to pat local Tasmanian kangaroos, get cute selfies with them and get close and personal with wallabies and see the Tasmanian Devils getting fed! Make sure to call ahead of visiting to check the feeding times of the kangaroos and Tasmanian Devils. That's when you can easily get close to them.

Really nice concept. A little pricey for the number of animals you see. You do get to interact/feed some of the birds and kangaroos, as well as see them feed the Tasmanian devils and pademelon.

My experience was absolutely amazing! I loved their concept of “unzoo” it’s soo genuine knowing I’ve contributed to a facility who legitimately care for the animals and do not hold them under the usual zoo’s captivity. I came wanting to see a Tasmanian devil in person and got more than I expected! Their staff were amazing, very polite and welcoming. Erin & John were an absolute pleasure and hearing them speak it’s soo evident how passionate they are about caring for the animals. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tasmania, this is a “must see”!

The Tasmanian Devil Unzoo was an amazing wildlife sanctuary to visit. We got the closest to Tasmanian devils we have ever been and the tour guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. We got to hand feed Forrester kangaroos that are native to Tasmania and so sweet. We could feed geese and see other wild birds being fed, including parrots that flew down for my children to hand feed. I love that there are no cages here and the animals are all very happy and well cared for. Was a great family activity for an afternoon

Very different to anything I've been to before, except for the devil's and a couple of others every animal there is wild. Watched the guide feed the devil's and the birds. We even got to hand feed some kangaroos, which are different to the ones we get at home. The guide was very knowledgeable and genuinely had a passion for these animals. Worth every cent, come and have a visit!

Amazing spot to see Tasmanian Devils and other Australian wildlife. We also fed kangaroos! Lots to see, we went in the late afternoon and unfortunately missed the talks about the devils and other wildlife so if you’re keen to do that I’d go earlier. Allow 2 hours!

A Tasmania must see!

We were greeted by Erin at the front desk and gave us a itinerary from the beginning of the best way to explore.

This was such a cool un “zoo” experience. We were guided by Josie who had a wealth of knowledge of all the animals within the reserve even though she’s been there for a few months. It shows the passion she brings to her work and her enthusiasm.
Josie was very nice and lovely to learn from as she showed us the whole zoo with comedic views of the animals personalities.

Very nice place, needs some committed helpers to drive it on, as the ethos behind it is wonderful and what it does for local wildlife is so good

Wonderful concept with awesome up close views of the birds and animals. I combined feeding the Green Rosella with the guide, and wandering the beautiful natural park at my leisure. Loved it.
