Very over priced - run down facilities with little to offer. Save your time and money and go to one of the other Tasmanian Devil enterprises.

Unique place, devils on show are retired breeders. Other displays are filled by "volunteer animals that may or may not appear for a free feed. It's a great concept. All of the gate takings go to conservation!

Absolutely amazing experience!
The tours are a must do as you get to see and experience the animals up close including animal interactions.
Thanks Jason for being a great tour guide!

Great experience for anyone who hasn’t seen a Tasmanian Devil up close. Kangaroo feeding is also a highlight, with a large pack of extremely docile and gentle Roos forming to eat from visitors hands.

Guides are informative and patient. Concept is interesting, admittedly it could use another exhibit or two but that would be hard to achieve sustainably whilst maintaining the “unzoo” concept. It’s something worth doing if making the drive to the Port Arthur site already and will only get better in the years to come.

If you want to spend 88 dollars and only see a few kangaroos go ahead…. Gotta say ur was very disappointing

The concept is great, and I support it. But it was more like an abandoned farm with a near to no animals to see. Wings zoo has more interaction with animals. Not too happy with the cost if tickets and what you get to see.

Beautiful bush settings. Very friendly humans and animals alike. The kids loved feeding the kangaroos.

The unzoo, if you are from Australia is not worth going.us 2 seniors took our 3-6 year old grandchildren cost was $110 as we had to buy a family ticket. We see devils here and there out and about without going to the unzoo. We also have Kangaroo and wallaby’s also out and about. It was cheaper buying a family pass as being seniors with 2 grandchildren would cost more. Absolutely disgusting. We live down this area and before the new owners we got a pass for seniors and a special deal for showing our Rates and Taxes. All you do is walk and Listen to the person speaking about devils and our children were very very board. So if you live in Tassie DONT BOTHER
SORRY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The philosophy and practice is to have animals in enclosures rather than cages - as a visitor one has the experience of being observed by the animals as much as being the observer. Kangaroo area - grass cropped like a lawn - very parklike.
Manager very proud of what they are doing - a lot of work behind the scenes to make it look as natural as it does!

Nice up close and educational session with the devil's and other Tasmanian wildlife. Birds free to come and go.

We loved this place! The staff were super friendly and knowledgable and it was great to see animals in a more natural environment than regular zoos.

Arrived just in time for feeding frenzy of the Tasmanian Devils.

Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.

There also some other interesting exhibits including an old car and a cranky kookaburra.

This is a great place, really nice and helpful staff, lots of very tame animals to see, and a great experience all round. Very highly recommended, we bought an annual pass and go back regularly
