Tacos Mexican Restaurant reviews
78Totally BLOWN AWAY by the variety of delicious frozen margaritas. Awesome service, great value for money - very large portions. Seriously cannot fault anything. Thank you Tacos for impressing this family of Brisbane foodies!
Great food, great margaritas & generous portions. Ordered the (entree) seafood nachos & soft chicken tacos. Greeted by manager, staff were lovely & prompt service.
Delicious food, beautiful environment, welcoming and friendly staff, Mexican music and frozen margaritas. I would love to come this place again and again.l love this place so much, everyone must visit this amazing place you wont regret trust me
Such an amazing restaurant with delicious food, tasty margaritas and incredible staff! Thank you so much Tacos for everything - 10/10
We came here twice during our stay in Hobart, so if that says anything about this place, is that it’s absolutely worth it. Happy hour margaritas and the endless list of flavours got us returning! Not to mention the food was grouse.
Great food, generous serving and friendly staff! We had a lovely dinner here, the food was super yummy and the serving was very generous. Not to mention the delicious margaritas! I tried the mandarin flavour and it was delicious! I would definitely go back for another meal and highly recommend this restaurant
Super yummy. Massive portions and such lovely staff. They brought over complimentary corn and it was so so tasty. Wish we lived near here because we will be craving this often.
Exceptional service and excellent food. Caters for gluten free and the margaritas are the bomb!
The happy hour drinks were good but food was one of the worst I had. Portion size were huge but poor service made it so confusing. No heating or proper lighting in restaurant as well
Had a family dinner for Mothers Day. Meals are a good size, very tasty! Friendly staff, great service.
There is no option for zero stars so here we go, one forced star. You think you've had horrible Mexican food? No you haven't, it's here, so do yourself a favour and don't go to this restaurant. We ordered tacos, cause it was taco Tuesday you know! They only have three options, fish beef and chicken (poor vegetarians!). They use the taco shell you can find in the supermarket (old el paso), Frozen fish, no spices, some unflavoured rice on the side. Horrible. My piña colada was just a bomb of sugar. Food took a good 40mins to arrive. Another friend ordered chimichanga and said it was dry and tasteless. Horrible food, super expensive. I don't understand why this place is always super full. There are better places to eat. It's a pity, the location is awesome, near Salamanca, and the restaurant itself, with its decoration and lighting is beautiful. Go somewhere else!
We came here for an early dinner on a week night so it was really quiet. We came in because of the happy hour offer and weren’t disappointed! We shared a fishbowl margarita and a plate of the nachos supreme and it was enough for the two of us as we weren’t too hungry. The margarita was good and it was fun to see how many options there were.
Service was really friendly and polite. Would definitely come again and try more margaritas!
The food was amazing and the service was some of the best I’ve experienced. Spilt my marg and they replaced it. Also another table needed an iPhone charger and they were quick to provide one. La combination (beef) was delicious.
The drinks were fantastic, would definitely recommend and they also did a virgin version of the margarita which was great for our non drinking members of the group.
The waiter who served us water dropped two glasses in front of us, which sprayed shattered glass all over the group, though no one was hurt. He was apologetic, and grabbed some of the larger pieces off the table, however the rest of the glass was left for more than 10 minutes and it took 3 wait staff serving us before one came back with a cloth and cleaned the glass up.
The food was massive in portion, however was very bland and not what you think of when you think Mexican food if that makes sense. Would have been great if there was more spice and seasoning, and the guoc definitely needed lime or lemon.
Cold tacos, sheedded cheese, no seasoning.
Frozen margarita merely potable. Decent customer service.
We went here for dinner and a few drinks at about 7: 30pm, and were some of the only patrons in the restaurant. While the staff were initially quite friendly, instead of simply mentioning that the kitchen was closing at 8: 30 they simply turned off all the lights and music while we were still waiting on our (very slow) food to arrive. The food was fresh out of the Old El Paso box from Coles (ie, you could make it at home & it would be more authentic and exciting). Frijoles are just tinned refried beans from the supermarket, and the meat was tasteless and dry. To top it off, we had one vegan at the table and ordered the supreme nachos with cheese / sour cream on the side & they served us a bowl of plain chips and tried to charge us full price. I definitely won’t be back.
Bustling atmosphere on a Saturday night, friendly helpful staff, authentic heartwarming meals that were very satisfying and Fish Bowl Marguritas.
Great service, beautiful tasty meal. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Mexican cuisine. Best Mexican food l have tasted.
A personal favourite of ours. The meals are huge and delicious. Happy hour certainly makes for a wonderful night.
Ordered bucket of coronas only had 3 bits of ice in it and barley any water so there beers were warm… no fresh herbs and spices, food was sloppy and really bland lacked flavour of any sort. Service was ordinary, wish I spent my money elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know. It’s a shame cause I love Mexican and was really looking forward to it.
