Mercure Launceston

Was a very nice stay. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was great! Good location and close to the centre as well as supermarkets. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay close to shops and parking was good but can be hard on a busy day as it is a public carpark as well

It’s a good value for the money. But beware they have rooms with exterior doors like a motel. For some, that is a safety concern. And it means there is a lot of noise right outside the room, constantly. The rooms are dated and worn, but that’s what you get from a Mercure in Australia. I wouldn’t book here unless you can get it for less that A$100.

Great location, looking over City Park. Rooms were nice and modern in the main building. Plenty of parking, but a pretty awkward carpark. Otherwise fantastic stay, couldn't fault it.

It's a good hotel on a hill with a nice restaurant. Rooms have excellent shower stalls for those of us who are a little larger.

Bed is comfortable and clean. Good quiet location with free parking space. Heater is warm for the room. However, it would be good if the toilet has heater too as it can get pretty cold during winter. Reception staff is friendly.

Fantastic hotel - large family rooms (double + 2 x single beds), clean/modern, great location, friendly welcoming staff, and the breakfast is excellent!

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Launceston. I think parking should be included as there was a huge parking lot next to the hotel.

Property is in need of some updates. Quality of food is average to below average. Staff are friendly.

I didn't have any expectation for this hotel but was very please with this hotel. Rooms was clean and modern. Layout of room was great with a nice large flat screen in the rigbt spot to watch it comfortably. Most hotels generally have very small flat screen tvs for the size of room often in weird spots as welk to view tv. Bathroom was clean but a bit outdated, with taps hard to turn of to stop water dripping Overall very happy with hotel and service

Very comfortable stay. Convenient walking distance to everywhere I went or a $7-$8 cab/Uber fare. Lovely, helpful staff with lots of local knowledge. Will definitely be back. Thanks for your hospitality!

Wonderful stay, efficient, friendly staff, excellent and clean rooms and service and amenities all excellent-thoroughly recommend.

Clean & neat, really great shower & lush towels, at a great price. We did find the mattress a bit too hard. The carpark is also a little challenging as it is quite steep & on several levels. Not easy for bigger vehicles and definitely not towing a caravan!

Rooms were not up to standard for the cost but the service was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hope they will revamp the rooms soon.
