Lufra Hotel and Apartments

Everytime i'm in Tasmania I go to this place, I've never booked a hotel room but just for the food. Really good serving sizes for what you pay and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Stayed in old motel section, rooms are basic, but clean and superb views. Staff great. Restaurant pleasant too, again with world class views

Beautiful unit with lovely views and and great for looking at stars and night. Lovely meal, friendly staff, cool little pub.

My partner and I had just completed the 3
Capes Walk and were keen for a nice dinner, wine and a view. We got everything we wanted here. They've a good wine list for a small town pub, and we had a lovely seafood dinner with fish caught from the Bay (local).
The view is great, watching the waves at Pirate Bay and surfers getting a late afternoon surf in.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. We've not met staff more willing than here to make sure you have as great experience as possible in this humble, lovely, seaside place.

Rude. We walked in around lunchtime thinking of looking at the restaurant menu. My dad (who walked in first and doesn't speak great English) said he wanted to take a look, and the staff immediately said that there were no public bathrooms and rolled her eyes as we walked out. Needless to say, didn't eat here or use the bathrooms.

Do not support this business. My girlfriend politely asked if she could use the bathroom in which they rudely said no. There are no toilets nearby. Thanks but no thanks

Excellent location. Clean and quiet room. Almost all staff were friendly.

Sink in bathroom was abnormally low. Taps were almost touching the rim of sink, making them hardly usable.

Tasmanian meat and seafood from restaurant were of course fresh but whichever you order the only method of preparation would be deep fry. Wine is worth trying though.

Arrived and given our room key 4 hour's later told they had given us the wrong room we were moved into a tiny room which the TV did not work and a stale smell in it. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone ever. We left not long after. Very upset. The hotel room's are old and need a facelift.

Great hotel to stay when visiting port Arthur. Rooms & bed are comfy. Great facilities.
Great views from the room.
Water hot in the morning when everyone is showering.
Plenty of parking & close to the beach if you want to swim.
Then only complaint would be poor water pressure in the shower.
Other than that, I would stay again.
