Gorgeous layout of the cabins on stilts surrounded by beautiful rainforests. The bird life is wonderful and the food at the restaurant is sensational. Staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities include a laundromat (cheap), perfect for your half way trip around Tassie. The night time feeding of the possums and padymelons adds a special touch.

Only spent the one night there, whereas I really think at least another night was needed to appreciate the natural surroundings. The food was fantastic. The cabins were fine. The 8km of unsealed road into the retreat took a fair while to navigate.

Very nice cabins and dinner although expensive. Was good quality and plenty of it! Be wary the gravel road is decently narrow, so drive slow.

Wonderful for those who love the wilderness. They have amazing forest trails. Great for photos and a good ol' fashioned mental getaway. 'Unplug' from the internet and office, and do some spiritual soul searching. Lovely helpful staff.

Beautifully Quiet Area, not super busy/touristy like some other places. A little difficult to get to. Good restaurant available.

We had a fantastic stay and Steve really looked after us. He is amazing! The only thing is that the restaurant isn’t always open so make sure you are prepared with food.
Would highly recommend a visit there!

Great location. Went on a nature walk and that was pretty nice. They do feedings at dusk so you can watch local wildlife, was pademelons for when I was there. The restaurant there was nice and not very expensive. Accommodation was spacious and close to the walks.

Great secluded accommodation. Staff are friendly and meals were nice, although a bit pricey. Will definitely be back though.

Secluded, charming, inviting. Warm place in winter to stage hikes around the area. Beautiful scenery, excellent trails (very steep in places) and friendly welcoming hosts.

Our cabin was well appointed and very private. We enjoyed salmon in the restaurant and a substantial breakfast the following morning. The staff were friendly and service was excellent.

Room was freezing cold. The food was disgusting and tiny portions. Elderly made to find their cabins in the dark. NEVER AGAIN!
