Gorgeous nature, perfect accommodation, and the best service. There is a manager, Ms. Karlie, who is the nicest person ever: very professional and informative and kind. We had such a great time there. Definitely a place to come back to.

After 2 nights at the Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat, I felt very proud to have planned my wife's birthday celebration there.
For the luxury spa suite, the spa with a nature view and the massage chair are the highlights, where we can completely relax after outdoor activities; the gas fireplace heats up quickly and has a good capacity to keep the room warm.
The breakfast menu has a variety of selection. However, the meal for dinner can be better.
It's very convenient to access various easy and hard walking trails. We did the Champagne and Bridal Veil Falls. We love them.
Highly recommended!

Nice cosy retreat in a remote location. On arrival it makes you feel like you're not even in Australia which makes it feel like you're definitely on holidays. We booked the luxury spa suites which were on the expensive side ($1k for 2 nights) and were a little disappointed for the offering. The rooms are a little dated but love the little touches - the lavender bear, the massage chair and breakfast is great! As other reviews have mentioned don't expect the wifi to work but that didn't bother us for our stay. Great that there are some local walks you can do starting from the property.

Beautiful remote forest retreat with restaurant, note it has a 7.5km unsealed gravel winding road drive to reach it

Tranquility, Beautiful place. Serenity. Very Nature. Road was Graveled, 8klm from Main Rd. But its a Quite Place. Food was Nice Breakfast Free, Very Cosy.

It was far from luxury, I booked because it had luxury chalets and great restaurant.which when we arrived was not operating webpage says TV and DVD, we had neither.lets see what the takeaway option delivers at restaurant prices!

Fantastic. Private chalets. Top quality generous three-course meals, beautifully presented and generous portions. Highly recommended.

Was disappointed that rooms didn't have a TV, upgraded to luxury room, which had a TV, but the water in spa was a tea like. Had to boil water twice before drinking. Internet on site didn't work 90% of the time. Food seems to be okay, but not great. I had my worst salmon ever I have ordered in a restaurant. It was wrapped in a pastry, so dry, such a disrespectful way to treat a fish (sea food lovers know what I mean)

Overall, not a good experience and wouldn't stay there again.

The start, the service, the presentation were nothing short of amazing.
Most of the staff, if not all, are locals and are very knowledgeable.
The place is unspoilt and has good walks with amazing falls.
You don’t need wifi, television and all the gadgets here… it’s a place to shut off from the busy lifestyle of the city.

This place absolutely blew us away. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay the whole week, it was perfect! We loved the spa in the room with a view out to the wilderness. We walked down to a delicious brekky each morning in the gorgeous log cabin at reception. The main building was a full restaurant with fireplace, bar, games room, library and more. We also walked to both waterfalls on the property which we loved.

This is a very nice place to stay! It is a bit far from the entrance of the park but it is a very relaxing space with the most friendly staff!
we absolutely love the chef and his delicious dish!

This was my favourite place we stayed so far, the staff were excellent and the restaurant food was really good. It had a great atmosphere and the animal feeding was fun for all the kids.
Most enjoyable dinner and breakfast I have had on my trip, lovely steak and the breakfast being included was a surprise and it was a great breakfast too. I definitely recommend this place

Even with a $0 refund policy for our room when covid struck again, they still gave us a full refund. Unfortunately we did not get to stay but I'm sure it would have been a 5 star adventure. Cheers guys

The cabin itself was fantastic. Beautiful locale and a few night visits from possums was amazing.
The staff however seemed like they would rather have been anywhere else besides at work. The restaurant wait was ridiculous for dinner and the mains were pretty meh. Continental breakfast was less than average. If we tourists are in Tasmania, surely we want to be sampling amazing local produce, not the same junk from anywhere. Next breakfast bacon and eggs, where the bacon had clearly been pre cooked and sitting in a bain marie or something, completely dried out. Book yourself a lovely stay, just bring all your own food (and utensils, the rooms have nothing but a kettle and coffee cups)

Our cabin with three rooms was really nice. We enjoyed our stay even though it was quite a drive from Cradle Mountain which was our day visit each day. I do have to mention that the wait on breakfast one morning was laughable and it took more than 40 minutes to bring me a cup of tea when I ordered it directly from staff.
