Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat reviews
73 This was an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was great to be in a place where you can see the stars and can't hear any planes, trains and automobiles.
Falling asleep to the sounds of nature was so relaxing.
I highly recommend this location.
We only went there to register our walk to Champagne and Bridal Veil Falls so all I can say is that all villas look very spacious from the outside. They are all in Alpine style. The reception is very welcoming and the lady was extremely nice and helpful. Toilets spotless
This place is a bush paradise! If you are looking for a perfect spot to stay next to Credel Mt. This is it! So much spirit, so much relaxation. Everything is how it should be. The view from our private terrace had a breathtaking view. The nature is singing there to you! The room welcomed us with warm fireplace, an amazing bathtub, and the most comfortable queen bed in the world. Access to the game room, restaurant and super friendly staff was just a cherry on the top of the cake. Thank you. Hope to be back one day.
Lovely accommodation, who doesn't like a spa after a walk. Friendly staff. Beautiful environment. Both waterfalls were full steam after the spring rain. Loved our stay.
Absolutely amazing place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms were fantastic too. We stayed in the luxury spa retreat. Very private and secluded. Couldn't fault it at all.
We stumbled upon Lemontyme Lodge. We were blown away the extent of the resort out in the middle of nowhere. Amazing.
Free push bikes to ride
Amazing bush walks with water falls - a must!
Really nice staff.
Very impressed.
Loved this place upon arrival the gas fire had already given our room warmth & the lamps having been turned on a cozy feel, breafast included was great, animal feeding was lots of fun to watch, there are 2 waterfall walks here but the weather wasn't in our favour so hoping to return again in the future, highly recommend
Pretty little walls all around the lodge area! It really is a beautiful little place and one of my favorite areas!
Beautiful location. Lovely wood cabins with gorgeous forest view. The walk to the waterfall was stunning.
The vegan meals were very healthy and tasty.
However, at check in, the host wasn't exactly welcoming which was quiet disappointing.
The best time ever.no TV no phone signal just a pack of cards and a few bottles of wine and cheese and crackers.highly reccommended
Great place to stay. A little further away from the national park than other accommodation options, but that adds to the feeling of seclusion and remoteness. A beautiful setting. Our accommodation had a raised balcony looking out into the forest, with nothing else visible. Room was great. Breakfast was good, and the dinner we had in the restaurant was delicious. Staff were friendly.
We stayed 2 nights, but I reckon a week here would be a great, relaxing getaway.
Very quiet wilderness lodge with comfortable cabins. Excellent food and service. Nice walks around this property. Things are getting a little run down e.g. Bathrooms need attention and the 8km of narrow dirt road in was unexpected.
Nice restaurant, nestled in the bush, very cozy as well.we enjoyed our dinner, nice view, we can see wild animals as well.
We loved how close you get to nature in this retreat 15 minutes into the woods on a little dirt road going 30kph. Perfect for visiting Cradle Mountain.
Good cleanliness, good service and a generally good stay.
The restaurant has good food and the breakfast was really nice. Don't miss their evening feeding of the local wildlife for an upclose encounter with a Pademelon!
This is definitely more of a hotel than a cottage, you don't even get saucers for the tea cups. We may have had the wrong expectations, that doesn't mean it was a bad thing.
The shortcomings were the cleaning of our room (We expected to have the dirty dishes replaced by room service.), and the tradies who showed up in the morning making a ruckuss as we got ready to go for the day.
Come for the wilderness and forget the TV or internet for a change! Free all you can eat breakfast and very pleasant staff surrounded by nothing but nature. Perfect place to get away from it all and staging ground for Cradle Mountain. Book online to save $.
Had a wonderful 2 nite stay in the 2br cottage, ate at the Resturant there, did the hikes, all in all a great experience, will definitely return.
We were feeling a bit unsure before we got here as we had read some negative reviews just before we were due to arrive. However, our worries were completely wiped away when we arrived. The location is beautiful and so quiet and secluded. The rooms were clean and comfortable (although a little dated) and even had a little balcony that you could sit outside at and have a beer. The restaurant was really good. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious! Breakfast was nice but a bit pricey ($25pp). Would also recommend doing the walking trails they have here as they are definitely worth the effort. One thing to consider if you've got a bit of a tech addiction is that there is little to no phone reception available. Wifi is available but is a bit sketchy. No tv in the room either. But we enjoyed the screen detox while we were there, it was nice to get away from everything.
Poor staffing no manager on site uninspiring food at night cold cereal for breakfast Some trails blocked and staff not well versed in local resources no evacuation plan during fires no heat at night furnace broken no maintenece no room wi fi or phones no lunch unless reserved day before
Disappointing! $15 to have dinner as room service is a joke. Not to mention overpriced limited menu. The cabins are nice but not worth the money.
My partner and I throughly enjoy the stay at lemonthyme, the walking trails around the property is absolutely beautiful, and unique. Lemonthyme have their own walking trails. Waterfall is amazing and beautiful. Good job! Lemonthyme! We will be back!
