Staff are so extremely professional and kind. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel while travelling with work. Raj was a fantastic help to making our event experience wonderful. Thank you to the team and especially Raj.

It's not amazing, but it does the job.
The room felt just a bit grubby and either a cleaner or the previous guest left an open snack in my room. The doonas don't have covers and are instead laid between two flat sheets. The "Executive Room" just has two single beds, pushed together, and made up to look like one. Which is fine for most but I'm a middle-of-the-bed sleeper. Dinner was nice but pricey. But the hotel is in a very convenient location and fine for if you're getting on or off the Spirit.

A great place to start and end a Tassie trip. 5 minutes or so from the Spirit of Tasmania.

The welcome drink when we arrived was a pleasant surprise.

Very nice accommodation and the staff were very accommodating.
Get a room with a balcony not the alfresco dining though as it felt a bit stuffy.

First up, this was the final day of our honeymoon before heading back home. I wanted it to be special. I specifically ask for a room facing the SoT. As I had booked a fair while prior, I expected to get it. We did not. On arrival we were told the room wasn’t ready. We were told that they’d call us in a half hour to 45 mins when it was. Over an hour later with no phone call we headed back. The room was a disappointment and put a dampener on the night. Instead of heading out to a restaurant which we were going to do, we ate at the restaurant on the premises. Another huge disappointment. Apart from some of the staff who were nice, our experience was very poor.

I stayed here for quarantine after arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania two weeks ago. The room on arrival was clean, tidy and modern. It was a very comfortable space for two weeks. The food was top notch, with a great selection and always on time. The staff looking after the people in quarantine were polite and they were always available for things. Delivery was no issue though on reflection not really necessary, as there was plenty of food with each meal. The wifi was ok, fast enough to get most things done, though slowed down at peak times. In all, a great spot and fortunate to be placed here for quarantine. Thanks Gateway staff!

Writing this review from our quarantine room at the Quality Hotel Gateway. Our stay continues to be fantastic with super-attentive staff, great meals 3 times a day and a real sense that those working here have our best interests at heart. We're sleeping like logs and have had every request accommodated. Excellent place!

Did 14 days Quarantine at the Gateway. Staff were outstanding, room big enough to do between 10 and 14,000 steps a day around a King Size bed. Great view of the Spirit from our room. After the horror stories of Melbourne quarantine hotels, we were grateful to be at the Gateway.

Although buses are going in with those to isolate the psychic Expo was seperate. Went through different door and those confined all had masks in a different area. They have been wet thorough in keeping ppl safe and still being able to attend expo

We had a beautiful meal at this place. The staff were very friendly. Especially our waitress Olivia she went above and beyond for our daughter who has allergies. Well done

I did my 14 days isolation in this hotel when the border was closed for Covid 19. The hotel staff members are very friendly, professional and looks after their patrons. Especially Brenden and Paul (security) were very supportive and prompt to all the queries I had. I would visit here if I come to Devonport and all the best to the hotel.

This hotel was great. Variety of food excellent and all dishes were very tasty.

We spent two weeks under trying circumstances and all staff were wonderful. Rooms were clean and spacious.
Food was great I will definitely go back again.

I have been in isolation here this is the best, great food, the staff are the best nothing is to much trouble always have a smile, if you ask for anything it is there.the management are the best with little treats. Thank you all for the time and effort you have put in to make our stay the best it could be THANK YOU ALL room 318 Colin

Very LUX Spa bathroom. The room was lovely and clean. Netflix was a bonus for entertainment. Waking up to morning coffee with a terrific sunny view over some of Devonport was thrilling from level 4.

Well we are here as guests in quarantine. The staff are doing a stirling job under trying conditions.
While people are whining about food and other things we have nothing but praise.
The girls know me by Prisoner 405. Thanks boys and girls. ️️
