Frogmore Creek Winery

My parter surprised me with a helicopter ride to the winery - such a treat! We loved everything, apart from the waitstaff service. Our waiter was really unprofessional and had a moan about management being stressed and made some pretty dark jokes. We were there to celebrate and it was awkward. Afterwards we got another waitresses attention to order some drinks, she gave the impression that she really didn’t want to be there. Disappointing as the food was really delicious, the surroundings are so pretty and the gift shop / cellar door are really nice. We’ve had nothing but excellent service since arriving in Tas. Doubt we’d return unfortunately.

My Wife and I were hosted by our family in August for the celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived in the car park I was subjected to a professional and caring crew who went out of the way to point us in the right direction and make sure doors were opened to make life easier.
The food was first class, the atmosphere fantastic and the service magnificent.
If you have not tried it, you are really missing out.

Beautiful beautiful location! Great for a gourmet, fancy meal for a reasonably good price.staff were friendly and very professional.plenty of gluten free options and accomodating to my needs.complimentary wine tasting when dining in which is a great bonus! Would recommend for older crowds.

Food is wonderful but be aware that the portions are miniscule. I had the lamb. My friend had the pork belly and it was a more generous portion. Try the desserts, normal size and yummy

Very disappointed with the tasting and cellar door experience. They only have 3 wines for tasting, chosen by the staff, so no availability to try what you may like or not. The wines were ok but was expecting a little more. The food was very good though.
After this I purchased a bottle of pinot to drink in the outdoor area which on the menu was $48, but was charged $86 for the same bottle. The explanation I was given, for a wine the organisation grew, made and bottled themselves was that it was the take home price and having it here was a “little” more expensive.
This seems a little rude charging restaurant prices when they own the wines that are being served.
Would recommend if you like being taken advantage of.

The Shiraz and Cab Sav are light and enjoyable. Thx building and view are spectacular though. Hostess was very helpful and knowledgeable. Enjoyable.

Didnt advertise closing 2 hours early on a weekend anywhere (website, social medias) and tried to refuse service 15 minutes before closing.

A fabulous lunch experience. Service from the team was excellent. Food looked too good to eat. We had their Sparkling and Sangovese wine, which went perfectly with the food. It was a 5 Star dining experience, and we both totally enjoyed it. Thanks to Marianna our waitress for her gracious hospitality.

A very well established and respected winery.
I'm not a big wine person, however I have been here twice and enjoyed both times. Very nice food and wine, beautiful building and the view is amazing. Well worth a stop, but bring a few dollars.

Fantastic meal loved the Saturn? Desert I wasn’t able to eat a whole planet even though it was amazing. Staff were very helpful and very nice. I’ll be honest I’m not a big fan of the Frogmore wine however with the beautiful lunch it tasted better. Next time we’re definitely taking the helicopter

Just had one of the best dining experiences in a long time. Dillon went above and beyond to make this happen. He catered for our two vegan diners perfectly and allowed us flexibility with the wine flight. Presentation and service a solid 12 out 10!

Wow! This Winery Restaurant is nothing short of amazing. The staff were warm and hospitable, and the food was well proportioned and tasty. I would recommend Frogmore to any couple wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle to experience a terrific dining experience. Thank you

Stunning views. We originally booked for lunch inside however seeing the views, we decided to sit outside and enjoy some cheese and crackers, bread and small eats. Would visit again and so conveniently located at 20 minutes from the city.
