Comfort Hotel Bayside

It was terrible. I walked out side for a cigarette with my beer in my hand waiting for the meal. Little man with little man syndrome named James who works there kicked me out strait after paying 300$ for mine and my families meals. I waited in the carpark for my family to finish their meals. I'd eat anywhere else in sthelens except for there after that experience. The bayside should be charged with theft. The bayside hotel is a complete joke and from what I heard the meals were terrible also.

We stayed here cos mum and dad live in the town and we have a baby the room was bit small but clean

Just had the best Pizza & salad in many years at the Bayside Hotel. It was a Sunday night with nothing else open in town, and no need for any other TBH, because the cold beer & country table service from Jennifer was just second to none. Fully recommend this joint.

Highly recommended, lovely staff, great food, fabulous price for seniors. Rooms are very nice & clean, oh the shower is a dream.

Did not stay at accommodation went to the Bistro for dinner. Typical pub meals, we had the roast of the day, it was nice, priced accordingly.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. I would be happy to stay here again.

Fantastic warm shower during this winter period! Strong heater and located near IGA. Will definitely stay here again. (Toilet is newly renovated)

Had a lovely night last night but the wind was howling! Our lunches and dinners were delicious, they even made a special pizza for us with extra chilli & garlic, it was wonderful.

Room didn’t meet expectations, carpet very dirty and stained, first thing you see upon entering, drapes missing a number of hooks.
Bathroom excellent.

We were travelling around and were very happy with the accommodation. We dined in onsite restaurant and weren't disappointed. Al the sta ere great. Had a good experience. We would come back if we venture that way again without hesitation

AMAZING FOOD m great customer service, if i could give more then 5 starts for there parmy and chips i would give it a 10/10, will be bringing the family back

Rooms are ok, but that reflects the price very cheap, but they are clean and tidy.pool available, kids and adults will love it.

Great food, great staff, great location and great prices. Would recommend to anyone and would return any time.

We go every year for Christmas. Food and staff are fantastic. My partner and I will be going theevery year till we are old and grey

Ordered the fisherman's catch for $32.come out like a supermarket packet fish meal, 2 bits of tiny calamari and the rest was terrible.was extremely ordinary for that price! And especially in a seafood town.

Loved this hotel, highly recommend. The food was delicious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous location, right on the beach, in the centre of St helens. Has a great little gaming room too. 5 star:)

Reasonable prices and they have a pool.they are close enough to everything. Best place ever.

Booked in for dinner, found the dark haired lady behind the counter rude and extremely commentary with her facial expressions about the meals I ordered, no need for eye rolling or raised eyebrows. Felt like customer service was the least of her concern, actually all staff were pretty terrible except the tall young blonde haired lady who seemed to enjoy her job and being there. The food came out quickly but the gravy was absolutely disgusting, very watered down, tasteless. The steak was over cooked and the prawns and scallops the same, dried out and awful after taste. Huge disappointment and not at all worth the money we spent there. Would never eat here again.

Reviewing For Meals & No Accommodation

Worst meals I have had in a long time, packet gravy, dry salad ingredients and all around just really average. No effort or any care taken with the meals,

Also a huge congratulations for not considering your local surroundings, really frozen packet calamari / squid

You have the ocean across the road, you would be the only one in Tasmania to have to rely on packet frozen calamari

Have some respect for your customers and make a little more effort

Staff don't want to work can't even get served every thing needs to be easier for the staff won't be going back again
