Lovely venue. Don’t order the pork belly bites. They had the taste and texture of rubber. Inedible.

Food was disappointing. My seafood pot pie was mostly potatoes and a hint of salmon meat and nothing else that resembles seafood. Gin was okay, tasted like your bottom of the shelves variety. The room acoustics were terrible. The garden and meeting Butch the rooster were our highlights.

Very disappointed. Arrived at 4.45pm as website said open untill 10pm. Hours had been changed to close ar 5pm. Having travelled from Melbourne we didn't have an option to return. Whilst sitting in carpark another vehicle arrived and went in
After 10 minutes they hadn't come out. One rule for us another for them

A bit out of the way for the traditional tourist but worth visiting for the history. The food was more glamorous than the traditional pub affair.

The setting is absolutely beautiful particularly on a nice sunny day. There's ample space inside and out and fairly relaxed. The staff are quite pleasant and do their job well. The food is quite good and prices are quite reasonable. It's quite busy on weekends but is still enjoyable to be there even when it's busy.

Beautiful place. Staff are amazing, very polite. Food was terrific. I recommend to all visitors and locals. The gardens are well maintained and the resident rooster was an added bonus.

We were invited to this place which we had no idea existed It is set in a lovely garden aspect and is just a great restaurant with very friendly staff and a great vibe The food was exceptionally good and plentiful They have quite a large selection of gins on their drinks menu and Maleki at the bar was especially knowledgeable We had a wonderful evening and we will be back again and again i give it a 10

This is a stop everyone should take the time to see! The outdoor space is amazing (it is huge, plenty of shade, and the tables are spread apart). Service is excellent and our server was extremely knowledgeable with their products. Every suggestion he gave us we went with after telling him what we like and we loved it all!

Tour was okay, guide was great but have been to better brewery tours. You had to wear what seemed like a ridiculous amount of PPE but we didn't see a single worker or any work going on during the tour.the bottling wasn't running either which would have been the most interesting thing to see. Everyone got their own tasting paddle but would rather have more variety and smaller glasses than 4 large sized tasters. Also 2 dark ale/stout out of 4 was alot for people who don't like stout (probably the majority of the population). The food was also very average. Poor presentation and bland, very mediocre. Loved the mulled cider and the decor in the restaurant and such a beautiful location so overall 4 stars as we had a great time but definitely room for improvement and wouldn't return any time soon.

So disappointed with the food even though the beer was good. My friend ordered a squid salad with only a tiny bit amount squid but a whole plate of green leaves. That was one of the most expensive dish on the menu. The beef Burger tasted weird and we didn't even finish. I went there for my birthday but I didn't find anything i feel welcomed and valued. They gave me a free drink voucher after we almost finished the meal and the voucher has to be used by today. So what's the point to give me that voucher? They used to have risotto, pizza and stuff and were really nice. Somehow they changed the menu and I wouldn't go there again. The garden is good though.

It’s a lovely place and has good drink options + my friends enjoyed their food. Unfortunately I ordered the pork belly and it was these thin hard charcoal pieces that tasted terrible, could barely tell it was pork. Definitely not worth $18, and the staff were not at all friendly so I was too nervous to say anything about it. In saying that it’s a lovely place to visit and everything else seemed good.

Beautiful venue with food of a standard that's fine for the price. Unfortunately an extremely loud singer guitarist playing when we arrived at 6.30. After some to and fro from a couple of groups with staff the music was turned down but still rattled the venue. We moved to a room off to the side which was fine. Muso was fine but way too loud for dinner time.

Lovely garden, always come back just to immerse myself in it. The drinks are fresh and tasty and both the service and fireplace are warm:)

Definitely worth a visit! Reasonably priced drinks. I would however say the best thing is the experience. The grounds are really well kept and the view/aesthetic is amazing

While we have, in the past, had delicious food at the Brewery, it was not the case today. Having ordered the Taste of Tassie plate I was disappointed to find that it was not up to the standard I had previously had. The pickled octopus, hot smoked salmon and smoked wallaby were perfect, though it would have been nice to have a slice of lemon or a touch of mayo beside the salmon - even a sprig of dill or a sprinkle of dried dill. The ham, however, looked like pressed supermarket slices, not off the bone. As for the pickled vegetables and relish - both were utterly tasteless. The vegetables tasted as though they had been in a very dilute vinegar and water solution (mostly water) with very little pickle flavour and the relish was the most insipid I have ever eaten! I will go back, as the food in the past has been much better, but I doubt that I will risk this plate again.

Overall, a positive experience each time. The food is delicious, variety of drinks, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good location in an amazing looking building. However, don't bother trying to book via a phone call (they never pick up), just book through their website.

Our Sunday lunch was terrific. Beautiful atmosphere, great beer, very good food and not expensive. We didn't book but we were able to sit outside in the sunshine. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Slow cooked brisket on crushed potatoes - plenty of it and it just melted in your mouth! Pan fried squid salad was delicious as was the salmon.

Due to unexpected circumstances we were late to a tasting and called ahead of time to let the Brewery know. Fully understanding that safety demonstrations and briefings have to be observed before commencing the tour, we did not expect to be able to take the tour nor did we request a refund. The team member who received our call was so rude, blunt and disrespectful that my partner was in tears by the end of the conversation. I lodged a formal complaint naming the team member with the tour's management asking for an apology from the staff member but never received one. I will never buy a Cascade product again, and I will be emailing Cascade's head office now to report the incident to someone in a higher position. This is certainly not the way to treat customers in a period where business is slower than usual.

Such a cool exterior and interior setup. Very nice garden and spacious seating arrangements. However beer is beer, so all good. Food was a bit disappointingly dainty and pricey. Worth a visit for a beer or two. Will still recommend it.

Excellent bar and beautiful grounds. Nice to experience some of the beers and ciders that are not available on the mainland. Also went on the brewery tour and found it to be interesting and entertaining, plus a free tasting paddle at the end, can't beat that.
