Whiskey tastings are $55 for 3 or $75 for 4 which was very unexpected. Ended up trying two whiskeys and a gin and it was almost $100 for the 3.
Nice staff and outlook, friendly and comfortable surroundings.

Great tastings and friendly staff, good service. Wouldn't necessarily recommend buying a bottle unless for a gift, but well worth for the tasting.

Felt like this place was geared towards tourists, the tasting felt rushed and overpriced. Asked for a menu and was told there wasn't any, save your wallet and spend it at a bar on the mainland.

Lovely place to enjoy a gin or whisky with a view. We went twice during our stay and the bartender was very helpful and fun in helping us choose what to taste. We ended up buying a bottle of gin to go and plan to order some whisky online for later.

An amazing range of whiskies sourced from Tasmania. The staff here know their whisky, and please don't disregard their advice and experience because they look young (and are young). They have a passion for whisky, and have a lot of information that they are willing to impart, if you can look beyond their youth.
If you enjoy a dram, then I would highly recommend stopping in.

Here have various choice for customers. Staff are nice and well learnt about the products. There are different offer for whisky and gin.
There are nice view at the outside part of the bar so you can taste your wine with the peaceful natural view

Amazing selection of Tassie Whiskeys.
Enjoyed a tasting of high end whisky selection with knowledgeable and friendly bar tender. Would have been 5 star if not for bar manager having a moan, in front of me, about time being taken by tender helping select 4 whiskeys for my 125 aud tasting!

Very over rated. You need to know your whiskeys. Asked for food and got a platter with cheeses cheap biscuits and a flower

Needs more staff at the bar, it was always just a bit too busy while we were there for the 1 guy to handle

Enjoyed a tasting of the limited release whiskey’s today. The team that were serving today were clearly passionate and informative but didn’t make a casual whiskey drinker like myself feel inadequate about my lack of knowledge and really allowed me to enjoy the experience and learn more about the whiskey of Tasmania. Thanks guys! Loved it

Fabulous setting showcasing the largest collection of Aussie whiskies in the world.

Enjoyed the $85 tasting option to sample four very different drinks ranging from $215 to $1800 a bottle:

Lark (which kicked off Tassie's whisky industry in 1992) ;
Belgrove Hopped Malt;
Trappers Hut (port barrel) ; and finally Sullivan's Cove American Oak single malt (voted best whisky in the world in blind tastings at the global whisky awards).

Luke was really helpful and showed us how different each can taste and smell with the addition of just one drop of water (no more) in opening up the oils.

Could easily spend a lot more time here but, we were catching the ferry back.

Boasting a novice whisky palate, I came to appreciate just how complex and delicious a drink whisky can be. I will definitely be trying more in the future. Thankyou for a great experience.

A beautiful location and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

The perfect introduction to Bruny Island! Whether you prefer gin, whisky or curled up next to a fire with an Alpaca-wool blanket - you’ll be more than content at this home-style, roadside cellar.

Don’t underestimate the youthful staff as they’ll teach you a thing or two about whyTasmanian distilleries are grabbing global awards and snagging headlines.

Pick your poison and get comfortable by their toasty fireplace on a cold day, or enjoy the generous patio and serene views on a clear day.

Upon leaving the island, you’ll likely be considering a farewell drink to end just as strong as you started.

This place is set on a small hill with a lovely view outside where you can sit and enjoy a whisky in the sunshine. Inside there is a very large range of whisky and also a beautiful warm fireplace. This place is not cheap at all. It cost 20 dollars for one tasting or 30 for three tastings. The man working was very friendly and chatty. They sell whisky in bottles too but seemed to be around the 100 dollar make upwards. They also sell alpaca scarfs which was random but they were very good quality in a range of colours. If you are into whisky this is a great stop for you. There is a car park out the front, and isn't far from the ferry so don't miss it, which is easy to do.

Great Tasmanian whisky. Three of us did two flights totaling eight carefully selected quality whiskys by our friendly guide. The knowledge of both the flavours chosen as well as the history of the distilleries added so much to the experience.

Whisky is excellent but the $75 tasting for 3 whiskies was a bit steep especially since it is in addition to purchasing a bottle (i.e. Not included in the price of purchasing a bottle). Very impressed they had a box of kids toys to entertain our toddler whilst husband was trying the whisky.

We loved this place. Lee was very helpful and up for a chat. The whisky and gin was amazing so we couldn’t help but to buy a few bottles. One of the highlights for us!

I visited the house of whiskey during my visit to bruny island and i must say that i was amazed by the whiskey collection they had. They sell all the possible whiskies, wines and malts from tassie apart from their own inhouse brand. Ive never seen so many unique flavors like saffron, wildflowers etc and that too under one roof! I loved their miniature collection! Tastings are available. The ambience is good and the owners are friendly and proud of their whiskeys. Prices range from aud $22 all the way upto $4000! All whiskey lovers should not leave bruny without visiting this place! They also sell shawls made from alpacas wool.the shop has signboards well placed and is right beside the road a little ahead of the ferry point. A shop with a difference and hence a 'must visit'!
