Let me just start this review with one word, disgusting. Had booked a car for pick up and the driver had left me and my family stranded, he probably had better things to do the bottom feeding featherless pelican looking overweight seal kfc feeding filth of Indonesia, not happy at all an 210 dollars out of pocket, thanks guys thanks a lot

I am absolutely repulsed by this service, you have done nothing but disgust me and my family.my family was stranded at the airport in the freezing cold.we were LATE to our hotel and were out of pocket by hundreds of dollars.you have done nothing but disappoint me.i do not recommend this service!

Unfortunately the company do not ensure a full tank. We picked up a car late on a Sunday night & checked the exterior & then the fuel gauge. Only close to full mark & range advised 600klm. We filled up 3 times on our journey & each time registered over 810klm range when full. 200klm @ 10 litres per 100km av fuel use for a large 4wd we had made 20 litres short when picked up. At close to $2 a litre, that was a $40 shortfall. Not good enough. Customers that do the right thing are penalised. If you don't want to question customers or check the fuel gauge when cars are returned then at least fill up the tank properly for the next customer.

We collected the car from Bargain Car Rentals in Launceston and noticed that the full tank was only ‘629km’ and thought that was quite bad milage. Upon filling it up on return the fuel gauge detailed a range of ‘740km’. We informed the attendant of this, and stated that it wasn't a full tank upon pick up, they asked for photo evidence which we couldn't provide and said they couldn't do anything. Pretty bad experience and lesson hard learnt, clearly they are trying to avoid some expensive fuel costs the dodgy way.

Great experience with Bargain car rentals. Online booking system was easy, no extra fee for driver’s under 25. Airport shuttle was fantastic and easy. Car was great, no issues. Had a newer vehicle with less than 20,000kms on it. Only wish you didn’t need to wait so long on hold when calling customer service line.

Great costomer service from the frist day of getting the van (we got a 8 seater for the four of us because of the suitcases), when handing it back near the airport at Launceston we received and free trip to the airport.

Extremely unreasonable. Beware
Extremely unreasonable to charge additional charges to credit card without authorisation and agreement. Even though a minor damage was incurred, i think it is only fair under the consumer law to get agreement from customer before charging to credit card. Worst experience so far amongst all the rentals i’ve used in Australia.

Bargain were a pleasure to deal with, the whole process was easy and simple. The vehicle we got was great and spotless and real value for money compared to others. The staff are wonderful and the airport shuttle service is great. We couldn't fault Bargain Car Rentals, I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future. Barry

Nothing was a problem to these guys. Smooth effecient service. Explained everything with a smile and easy to understand style. Vehicle was a bit quirky but everything we expected and sought after. Overall a great experience.

Never getting bargain again.lost half a day of our trip for waiting for the shuttle bus from the airport and then in a queue to get the car.

We had a great experience with Bargain Car Rentals in Tasmania. Picked up at Hobart airport, drove all around the island & dropped back at Launceston airport. Car was great & service exceptional.

Exceptional customer service! Luke saved us big time when our plane was delayed 5 hours and we landed just after Bargain Cars was shut. He was so helpful on the phone and stayed back late to take us and a few others from the plane to get our cars. All this while being super friendly, informative and had some good jokes too. Luke you're a legend! P.s the car was also nice and clean and great for our trip.

Really great service, we were picked up from the airport prior to our car rental & dropped off afterwards as well. The pick up was seamless & all the staff were very friendly.
The car we got was a Hyundai hatchback & they have SUV's & four wheel drives as well.

Awful experience with this company! Received a text message 5 days before my reservation saying that they have no cars available for me even though I had it booked in for 2 and a half months. Tried to blame it on a ‘system error’ even though I confirmed my booking numerous times over email. I called them multiple times after receiving the text, only to be left on hold for hours and greeted with useless customer service. They couldn’t offer me any sort of reason, solution or suitable replacement. This has ruined our holiday and we will never book through this company again.

Really happy with the campervan we got! Has everything we need for our two week trip around Tassie. Absolute bargain too!

Car in reasonable condition. Comfortable cheap to run and no issues with it over the week. Good service. Quick collection from airport upon arrival.

From initial phone query to pickup & dropoff, everything went seamlessly. Basically 1/2 price compared to other companies for a great car. Will be my go to for car rental from now on. Thanks!

Pick up from airport was quick and easy. Great cars with alot of choice. Happy staff even when they are busy. Will book with them again.
