The Summit Cafe and Function Centre reviews
91Unbelievable! Such an iconic lookout in Adelaide and at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon its closed! Very poor for our tourism industry Mr. Premier!
Mt Lofty is certainly a drawing card for Adelaide! There are so many many hikes that lead to this place! Even the famous 1,200km Heysen Trail passes here! Having the cafe to reward the sweaty journey is certainly a great thing! The information centre is also very helpful! The botanical garden in the way to the summit is well worth a visit! There are lots of paid parking close to the summit for those who prefer the motor vehicles!
Had an early fathers day breakie the menu has changed in the cafe which is great a good variety of options caters for food intolerances and allergies or just people trying that health kick thing post a walk up a mountain. Good service and delicious coffee where they clean the machine very regularly. Thank you coffee gods
Views are great but we got there at 3: 30 and could only choose from cakes - no food.should say online if they only serve food to a certain time
Excellent views, customer service was not very outgoing or friendly, hard poached eggs is very unprofessional!
Great lunch special on here during the week. Interesting food of a good level. Very nicely plated. Staff are good without being intrusive. Fab views as a bonus.
Always been a popular spot. Coffee is good. However on the weekends with all the walkers and cyclists.it can smell like a Gym at times.
It's basically a souvenir shop with food. The food is ok, the service is slow only because it is so busy.
Booked in for anniversary dinner. Waited in the cold until someone bothered to let us in and service didn't get much better. Lamb risotto was one of the worst ever tasted.gluggy and overwhelming tomato taste. Desserts not much better for taste. Much better places for quality and value in Adelaide. Wouldn't bother.
Great surroundings and layout, but extremely pricey. Expect to pay top dollar for anything. Almost always crowded and at times a little cramped. Have to pay for parking too so you get slogged even more for the privilege of visiting here unless you walk a very long way. Food is well prepared and enjoyable to eat.
