The reviews are true - food was awesome, service impeccable, incredible wine collection, beautiful location. It’s pricey but well worth it.

Lovely place to eat. We had a wonderful experience. Friendly staff, great local food for an honest price, the menu changes with the seasons. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had a fantastic experience at Salopian Inn. Everything was perfect, from the dining room and ambience to the meals and service. The meals were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, and the service was absolutely fabulous. We were looked after by Jesse, who readily made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the evening. 11/10

Unbelievably good food, amazing service and very switched on staff!

We had the feed me menu and the staff catered for our diets extremely well.
Every dish that came out was amazing and could not be flawed. The servings were generous and we didn't leave wanting more.

We ate lunch today to celebrate my birthday. The whole meal was wonderful, especially the beef and potato pie I ordered. It was the best I have ever eaten. It was superb! Everything was so fresh. The service is friendly and efficient, making it very welcoming. My husband and I highly recommend the Salopian.

The food was divine. The atmosphere was relaxed and the seating was quite private. I normally stay away from fine dining because I feel so on show but my sister assured me that this place wasn't like that and she was right. The waitresses were incredibly helpful and kind. I admit I was freezing the whole time because I didn't dress for the cold.

I had a lot of fun here, my partner and I went for a date night.we put the food in the chefs hands and had the tasting menu it was $80pp but worth it for the amount of food, the taste and presentation was 5 star as well! The team of waiting staff were great at their job, explained each meal as it came out and didn't require a note pad to take your order.we're into our reds a bit, there is a cellar you can walk into and choose you own bottle off the shelf for the staff to cork for you.lovely experience, st at and a great meal, highly recommend

A place to wrap your conversations in pure happiness and romance.
Oh and the staff is beyond fantastic.

The food was delicious for all three of us. The service was just right. The place was a little noisy due to a hens party in the next room but highly recommend Salopians.

Very slow service - we waited over 2 hours for our food to be served. No mention of coriander on the menu for the dish I chose - the dish arrived and it was loaded with handfuls of it, it ruined the whole meal even after they remade it for me. Sorry but we wont be back

Such a good place to go for good food. The main meals are very generous, and beautifully put together. We tried quite a few dishes among the 8 of us and all left well impressed. Staff are nice, actual building is nice too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service on a very busy night. Food, as usual, was excellent. Wine selection was comprehensive. Lighting at the southern end of the main room needs to be improved. The dessert menu was impossible to read once the sun had set.

Went there with family during a trip to South Australia. The food was amazing. They had a Asian flavour to the menu and combine with the wine it was abundance of flavours. Highly recommend this place if you looking to eat at McLaren Vale

We ordered the tasting menu which was about 6 courses all of which were delicious and really good value at $80 per head. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive but not intrusive. There are 50 to 60 gins on offer so a great opportunity for us to try the Never Never Gin from Adelaide just announced as "best gin in the world ".

Lovely restaurant. Great dumplings and all their food were perfectly prepared. Busy but service was at the top. Would love to come back.

Beautiful degustation with sorbet palate cleanser and donut dessert. They change their degustation on a weekly basis
